Disappointed to say the least. Took my car in to get the yellowing headlights polished and PPF applied. They didn't mask off enough of the bumper so they ended up sanding parts of my bumper leaving it dull in spots. They must have hand cut the material because now I have razor blade marks on the plastic of the headlight lens. And because of one of those scratches the material didn't stick in that area well and is now starting to lift. Can't get anyone to answer the phone. Do yourself a favor and avoid dealing with the headache. There are other places in town that are more expensive, so I guess you get what you pay for. read more

This company did a great job of applying a PPF on my Audi in 2017. The job they did on my new BMW in June 2025 was not professional. There were numerous bubbles (after six weeks) and the PPF wasn't trimmed properly. The owner, Dexter, has sold the building and has closed the business. He sent me to another shop to complete the job, but they can't because they aren't an authorized dealer of the brand of material that was used on my car. This is not the way to run (and close) a business! read more

So, 7 months later and it's peeling off again. It took 3 visits to get this thing on completely. First appointment took 2 hours longer than promised, then parts of the film started pulling away within a month. So, I scheduled to bring it in to be fixed. First try, I'm not on the books for my appointment despite making one so I have to reschedule. Did i mention I live 45 minutes away? Come back for rescheduling, it takes 2 hours longer than told AGAIN. THEN, at this visit they scratched my hood by wiping snow grim with a towel at install (despite having offering to wash the car before bringing it and they said no need), and now it's pulling away again. I honestly don't have time to sit at their place for hours and hours. I called and left a message, no call back. Just UG. I'm so frustrated and am not looking forward to dealing with them for warranty repairs. read more

I recently had a clear bra applied to my newly repainted car at Sierra Inv. Shield. Dexter, one of the owners, was kind enough to meet me on a Sunday afternoon to drop off my car. They detailed it on Monday for a small fee and then installed the clear bra on Tuesday. When I arrived Tuesday night to pick up my car I was extremely impressed. The transition between paint and clear bra is seamless - a perfect transition. They did an extremely thorough install for a great price. I will def. head back in there when I clear bra my other vehicles. I'm a bit "enthusiastic" about keeping our older cars in good shape. I've been doing business with Sierra Invisible Shield for well over 20 years. My 2003 and 1998 Land Rover Discoverys have the shield on the hood, front bumpers, headlights, and mirrors. My cars are not garaged and we live on the West Shore of Lake Tahoe. Heavy snow and heavy solar load. The shields look as good as they did when new, and have kept my cars protected from dings and other damage. Got my new car wrapped in protective SunTek material yesterday! Everyone is so nice and helpful - they dropped me off at Legends Shopping area so that I could go see a movie and shop while I waited for my car. they were finished within about 5 hours and came back and picked me up. They walked me through the process first to make sure that we were clear on what work was going to be done. Then when I picked up the car, they walked me through the finished product and explained the general maintenance and how to care for it. They're a small family owned business and appreciate that your car is a special project and want you to be satisfied with their quality and installation expertise. I spent two weeks trying to figure out where to take my brand new 370z to get a paint protector installed. I checked with every manufacturer and their recommendations for an installer. No matter how I approached it, Dex and Sierra Invisible Shield came up time after time. I figure when a company is referred that much there must be something to it so I decided to check them out. I made my appointment and arrived. Dex wanted to make sure my car got off to a clean start so he asked Yuri of Reno Auto Detail if he could prep my car, more about that later. Dex showed me the film they would be using and why. SunTek is one of the major players in the protective film industry. It has a clear coat and is a self-repairing film. It is the film that I had chosen for my car. I had work to do while I waited so I hung out in the reception area, full of very cool old and new sports cars, and plenty of space to work. It took exactly the length of time that Dex said it would. Tom and Eric were the installers and Tom showed me the finished product on my car. The first thing I noticed was that my car looked like it just rolled off the factory line or even better. Yuri had done more than just a quick clean or prep. It was spotless and shiny, if that was just a prep job, I will be back soon to have Yuri show me what a full detail of his looks like. As I got closer to the car I had to turn around and ask Tom where the invisible shield was. I thought they had run into problems or something and couldn't install it. He took me over to the driver's side and when I leaned over and looked closer I could see the line, but just barely. Now that I knew what to look for I started going over the install with a fine toothed comb. It was flawless, with absolutely no defects. It fit like a glove. There were no seams that I could detect. They even put some extra pieces on the rear fenders where they flare out a bit. The value that they put in far exceeded the cost to me. I spent weeks trying to figure out where to take my car to have a paint protector put on. Don't waste your time, I have already figured out that Sierra Invisible Shield is the only place to take your car. These guys know how to treat your exotic or even inexpensive sport car. SIS installed a clear bra and Rimblades on my 2014 Corvette. They were professional and friendly. The work was incredible and the SunTek product is far superior than the film it replaced. The Rimblades look great, they are nearly invisible, I highly recommend them for those who are concerned about curb rash on their custom wheels. My wife just had her 1959 Austin Healey Sprite painted with a candy apple paint and we went looking for a way to protect the nose of the car. W checked out various options for vendors through the cars clubs in our area and they all directed us to Sierra Invisible Shield. We met Dex the owner and he couldn't have been better. There was obviously not "pattern" for the Sprite but they did an amazing job. The car was done quicker than their estimated time. No excuses, no stories and the car looks great. A couple of weeks later we had a problem where the door contacted the door frame and chipped the clear coat. We took it back and they put a strip of film down the door frames and the problem was solved. They also made film discs to protect the paint where the top snaps to the body. Amazing product, service and installation. Had Invisible shield installed on front clip of MB year ago, scuffed the bumper, looked nasty, was imagining that I would be looking at that scrape for the life of the car. Turns out the shield did it's job and protected the paint. Steve was able to patch in a repair. Seams not noticeable unless you know where to look. The reason these guys get the Ferrari's, Lambo's, Bentley's, Porsche etc., is they do the best job in town! Did have one of the "other guys" do an Audi 3 years ago, it did not turn out as good as the job on the MB. Also, their quote was about 10% less! read more
