We sat at the bar and the environment was great. Service was great. Food was good. Overpriced. We wanted to watch the game and none of the staff had access to turn on sports. Only the owner had the password and they were afraid to call him. He showed up later and was not the least bit friendly. I have had mixed experiences here. I would say they are generally overpriced. When cooked properly, their filet is perfect. The appetizer selection is kind of unusual with nothing that appeals to me. Their website has photos of most of the menu items. I mean no disparagement to the photographer, but there is something offputting about most of the food in the photos. For the things I have tried, the food looks better in person. But I think my biggest pet peeve is when I drive to a restaurant that is a bit of a trek to find it closed despite being identified online as open. I often check reservation sites to see not only what is open, but also what restaurants have availability. So I checked resy, the site they use, and it showed reservations through 9:30 on a Friday. When I arrived at 8:53 the closed sign was up and the door was locked. Even the hours on the door showed a 9:00 closing time, so it's just mismanagement resulting in annoyed customers to have their reservation system show 9:30 seatings available. read more

My wife and I chose Sierra Grill for our birthday dinners. Reservations were easy to make. We were running 15 mins late, and they were still able to accommodate us. Pros: 1. Good selection of alcohol, wine, and cocktails. 2. Service was prompt and friendly. Our server was helpful with all questions about the food and drink. On par with what you'd expect. 3. Flavors, portions, and presentation of our food were very good. 4. For dinner, I had the braised spare rib. A generous cut of fork tender meat on the bone atop mashed potatoes, with broccoli and a demi glaze to accent the flavors. I loved it! Cons: 1. I didn't get a sense that the beer selection was as advanced, but the basics were covered. 2. Ambiance in the dining room was strange. Weird pictures on the walls. Curtain partitions that looked almost temporary, but I'm not sure they were. It was cool to see the flames licking on the grill when walking to my seat, but I didn't get a view from my chair. Eh. 3. This is a solid place with a very gracious staff. Every staff member acknowledged us as we went by them. This is probably the best staff I have seen for a long time. We started off with a couple.of cocktails. One was great and the other, an amaretto sour was a bit too much sour with little amaretto flavor. For the main courses we had the filet, the short rib, and the mushroom pasta. All were excellent. They were on the pricier side and not the absolute best we have ever had.but definitely solid. The char on the filet was awesome. For desserts we tried.the bread pudding, the creme brulee and the cheesecake. The first two were.excellwnt and the cheesecake temperature was.a little cold. Was very excited to eat here for the first time. We went for brunch on Sunday at noon, and there was only 4 guest dining. Odd. Our first drinks took 10 minutes to get, which was about 5 minutes too long since no other drinks were being made. I had the fried chicken sandwich, which was one of the worst fried chicken sandwiches I've had. The breading was very odd and tasted burnt. My wife had the shrimp and grits, which h she enjoyed. Very disappointing dinner. It started with 3 of our 4 water glasses being dirty. My roasted chicken was supposed to have a lemon rosemary sauce. It didn't, the mgr. came by and said they didn't have it, gave me a gravy instead and offered a lemon slice (no apology). It was very dry. My husband's steak came our rare instead of medium. Ryan, I went to your restaurant last night and was disappointed in your new Bucatini pasta. You had a signature dish before last night and you need to bring it back. This dish was three large shrimp on basically a small bowl of spaghetti. The seasoning was poor. The bread was stale and room temperature, I'm very disappointed because you had a killer before and you don't now please bring it back. Your website even continues to talk about the old recipe. This place is great! When you enter you immediately get hit with smells of wood fire. It has a spacious chic at atmosphere. Our drink had good flavor, not too sweet or too bitter. Sierra Grill Definitely coming back here! Upon walking in, it's a nice atmosphere with a pleasant aroma coming from the open kitchen. Alex, our server, was extremely friendly and helpful in describing the restaurant concept and menu and the service was consistent. The old fashioned I had was solid, but I recommended one large ice cube rather than multiple small cubes. The special was mahi mahi, but I went with the salmon because the sides won me over. It was DELICIOUS. Practically melts in your mouth and I loved the dill sauce with it. Great flavor from the asparagus and mashed potatoes as well. The pork chop was moist and seasoned well. The green beans were cooked nicely and the potatoes had a nice char. There was handicap access to the sidewalk leading to the entrance. They have a kids menu, but I enjoyed that there is enough space between tables for an intimate romantic dinner. Amazing wood fired meal!!! A table for 6 and as soon as you walk in it smells fabulous. Every dish was beautifully presented! Again the aromas at our table were just salivating. The ribeye was juicy, the scallops crisp outside & melted in your mouth. Both who had the lamb ( one main reason for selecting it) loved the cherry infusion with crisp potatoes. I've ordered just about every menu item from Sierra Grill, and I also frequented their location prior to their recent move. The owner is amazing and works hand-in-hand with their staff to provide a great experience throughout the restaurant. The food is always amazing, and I wish they would bring back more meal options that incorporated their amazing preparation of Brisket. The burnt ends they used to provide were better than any competitors in this area. Prior to the opening day of the new location, I believe they were running into a lot of issues opening back up, as I noted the delays and a few minor mistakes on the menu- things also seemed very hectic on that day. Some things that would make this place perfect: - An up-to date website, or reliable menu service. - A new menu with images showcasing the meals, with more tantalizing details regarding what you're ordering. (I understand the reason for the paper menus, but if possible- could these still have images put onto them?) - A wider social media presence. They have an outdated Twitter account that was abandoned sometime in the past, so I almost thought they had closed down. I had to scavenge for their newer Facebook page which had the details about their new location, as well as for the information that they're now compatible with Resy (which is great!) But besides these small things, this place provides a consistently amazing experience every time I visit! I would happily recommend this place to anyone. read more

Great place for ladies night to relax and talk for hours. The food was amazing and service was spectacular! The management checked on our table at least 3 times to see how our experience was going. They also overheard us say it was someone's birthday so they gave the Creme Brûlée on the house. Mac and cheese was creamy topped with thinly slices of smoked brisket. The beef short rib over mash potato was delicious and plenty to take home for leftovers.
