Well worth the trip. Quietly tucked in a small strip center in Irving, this establishment is, in a word, outstanding! Friendly, efficient wait staff, whose pleasant demeanor and knowledge of the menu items complements a family ambience and clean setting. But, it's the food that really sets this place apart. Showed up at 12:30 places the order and 12:53 comes up no food. 4 patrons showed up after we did and as we were leaving they already had their food and started eating. Asked the guy what the hold up was and he claimed the lunch rush. I'm not sure how when only 8 people max were inside. Really frustrating. No lunch for me today. First off, the environment of the cafe is awesome. Its just so warm and inviting. The bathrooms were really nice, and over all, this cafe is very clean. The food is all priced below 11 and the portions are massive. I have the chicken fried chicken with hashbrowns, eggs and toast and it could have fed two people. It was delicious to say the least, and the coffee was very good. We were only passing through and just picked this cafe because it was the first thing that popped up on yelp for breakfast. However, if I lived near here, I would definitely go back. It was relatively quiet when we ate there, so the service was pretty quick. Overall, a 5/5! read more

If you actually like crepes, don't order them here. Definitely too thick to be called a true crepe, more like a pancake burrito. This place is amazing. When you are walking up to the establishment it seems like any other breakfast place, but when you walk through those doors and take a seat you get this sense and feel of family. The owner walks around chatting to customers, pouring coffees and making sure you are full and pleased. He high fives the kids and makes silly faces at others to be playful and the kids love it. It's amazing how many people walk in and how many are on a first name basis. The staff is always happy to see you and makes sure to try their best to get you what you are craving. My wife has weird cravings and they made her things that weren't even on their menu. We've had several things on their menu, crepes, pancakes, French toast, meat lovers, daily specials and more and they are always top notch. Just the right portion size and taste amazing EVERY TIME. I love this place so much! The restaurant is nice, cozy & clean; you notice it as soon as you walk in. The waitress was super nice, she told us about their breakfast special right away. I ordered a waffle combo that included eggs and sausage. My meal was delicious and it was cheap, I paid $12 including my beverage. The service was great, the food came out in a timely manner & we were able to make it to our movie afterwards that my friends and I wanted to catch! I had worked in the restaurant business for a number of years and have been in the customer service business most of my life. For me, when I go out to eat it is important to have: 1. great food, 2. great value and 3. great service. I visit Siena Cafe on a regular basis because I get all three. Most important to me is the service (good food is a given). The staff has always made me feel at home. Even this Sunday (Mothers' Day) though I had to wait 15 minutes to be seated (because they were full) once I was seated the staff made sure I was being attended to in a timely manner. After all, I expect and prefer the place to be busy rather than slow especially on Mothers' Day. For first timers, isn't that a good indicator that this is a good place to dine? No I don't work here.Nor do I have shares in the place. I just am always treated like a VIP - actually more like family and I wanted to show my appreciation for being appreciated. We feel like we've become part of their extended family! And now that they've moved to Cypress Waters, the menu is bigger, the restaurant is bigger, and the food is still awesome! The staff are always pleasant, and management is always on site. But the best reason to come here is the food!
