Ate lunch twice this week at the Jersey mikes in coppell. Both days it was a pleasant experience. Food was fresh and delicious. I love their rosemary bread. I ordered the jersey shore, my friend ordered the Italian on wheat. Both sandwiches made correctly and the way we like. Restaurant was clean but due to their large lunch crowd on our second visit, we did have to wipe down our own table, but understandable due to the volume of business the establishment gets during lunch. Ice tea is very good and the vanilla cream soda on the fountain drinks is incredible. Looking forward to my next visit! read more

I guess I'm getting old because I swore I already reviewed this place. This place is close to work and we've gotten lunch for the team from this location a handful of times. In the world of sandwich shops, Jersey Mike's has always been at the top for me. Compared to places like Subway, and even the nearby Jimmy John's location, it seems no matter the location, you'll get a solid sandwich. It's a pretty simple menu, subs and wraps in various sizes. A mini is 4 inches and will be around $5.45, but is only available for the cold sub options. All the regulars are going to be $7-8 no matter what sub you choose and I appreciate that there isn't a huge variance in price for the same size no matter what you're putting on it. The regulars are 7-8 inches and are plenty for me, so I have no idea how giant the giant size is. Their white bread is excellent and you can't say that about a lot of places. They don't have as many bread options as Subway does, but their Rosemary bread is awesome and I'm pretty sure that's all you need. It's also worth noting that they offer gluten free bread. Chips, cookies, brownies and drinks are all separate of course. I miss the days when you could just get the price of a combo, but alas, no more. Chips are $1.19 and drinks range, but are mostly under $2. Mike's Way is onions, tomatoes, olive oil, salt, lettuce, red wine vinegar and oregano. That combo is amazing. I have to say getting it Mike's Way with no onions and add mayo is a real winning combination with the Turkey and Provolone or the Roast Beef too. So good! By the way, this is one of the few sandwich shops where I will eat the turkey, usually can't stand it at other places. Overall, great quality on their meats. You can call in an order or order online for pick up. I suggest doing this as they get pretty packed. Even non peak times seem busy at this location. Also, all locations do catering which I've done at several of the other locations for team meetings. They need a days notice, but you can get 5 different sandwiches cut up and it makes people happy! Service can be a bit spotty here occassionally, especially on the phone. I'm used to other locations having stellar service always, but it's nothing major. With a name like like Italian, I fully expected a replica of what the photo on their website shows. What we got was a meat and cheese only. No olive oil, no vinegar, no tomatoes, no lettuce. A toddler would find this dreadfully boring. Your employees need to ask the customer questions as to what customer wants on sandwiches. After eating 2/3 of 1 of 4 pieces the balance went into the trash so disappointing. I have a personal policy to never post a review that I can't give a five star to. My policy just got overridden with how bad this was. I went to this location a few months ago and had such a great experience and wonderful food. Clearly not this time. Why would they not say they didn't have hound dogs and offer something else for the 4th of July? They are assholes. I got there at 1:04 and the entire store was full of people also waiting for their orders. We were all right next to each other and had to wait another 20 minutes for my sandwich. I understand that these are crazy times but they should have us waiting in our cars or outside and not all crammed inside the store. There are a handful of better hole-in-the-wall delis and sandwich shops out there but if you want a fast and delicious sandwich consistently across several locations, Jersey Mike's is where it's at! I've dined in and ordered to go at a handful of Jersey Mike's, including this one, and it's always been a good experience. I'm not a fan of their hot sandwiches (the meat is always bland) but the cold sandwiches are great. They use fresh ingredients and don't slice your meat or cheese until you order it. The topping selection isn't as crazy as a couple of other huge sub sandwich chains out there but they have what you need. A regular sandwich is about 8" long while a giant is a giant 16" (I think; I haven't measured them). Depending on type, the regulars run about $7-9 with chips and a large drink ringing in at another $2.79. The line moves fast, there's almost always a place to sit, and the crew behind the counter have always been friendly and polite. read more

Last Saturday me and my family were treated in a very disrespectful way by a young man named Omar: he looked exasperated, hissing and shaking his head but took my daughter's order. When I asked him to take the rest of the group's orders he said in a very disrespectful tone: "can't you see I am preparing her sub?" I told him that he cannot talk to customers like that and asked to talk with the manager, but turns out that he was the manager!! We had to eat in a different place. While we asked other employee for his name in our way out of the store, Omar used aggressive language trying to provoke my son to escalate to a more disturbing situation, but we just stepped out. First off - I am a huge fan of Jersey Mike's. Love their subs and would go out of my way to eat there. I've been to this location on many occasions as business takes me in to this area frequently. Their subs are the quality that I would expect from any other JM's and I've been to many. This is a busy location especially around the lunch hour so always good to order ahead either online or by phone. The only downfall to this particular location relates to hygiene. Yes they use the plastic gloves, but they do everything from answer the phone with them, scribble notes with them on, adjust their baseball caps with them on, adjust their eyeglasses with them on. Well you get the picture. I've seen this on almost every occasion that I've been in. Yes I know it's not the end of the world (wait - or is it / can it be?), but hygiene and standards are for the customer's safety. i've never had jersey mike's before, anywhere. But this is seriously good. I don't know what it is; maybe cutting up the meat and cheeses on the spot actually makes a difference? Maybe having their sandwich made "Mike's Way" really does make a difference, (though that can't be the case, since "Mike's Way" is exactly what most sandwich shops put on their sandwiches, e.g. onions, lettuce, tomatoes, olive oil, vinegar, and "spices"). In any case, Jersey Mike's makes a serious sandwich for a chain. Had an Original Italian and also tried a friend's Club Supreme. Delicious! Again, the meats and cheeses here are cut on the spot--something you rarely see in chain sandwich shops. The staff here is really cordial and, despite there being a long line for lunch, they were all nice despite the large crowd. I ordered over the phone about 12:50pm on a Saturday. A very untrained staffer took my call, I had explain what sandwiches they had on the menu, he never even took my name, gave no estimated pickup time, and hung up abruptly. Got to the shop about 1:00pm, stood AT the register waiting to pay for about 15 minutes. No staffer at register to take my payment. Staff was busy talking to door dashers and grub hubbers about late or missing orders. Complete chaos. Ordering in the normal line is crazy, it didn't even move. How did I not come here before? This is going to have to top Subway for sure! I got the California Avocado Club - their avocado is fresh and chunky! Not the kind you buy at stores pre packaged like the wholly molly brand. It tastes like they just cut up a fresh avocado and put it in my sandwich. OMG so good. You can get your sandwich Mike's way which includes -onions, lettuce, tomato, red wine vinegar, olive oil blend, oregano, salt. All healthy stuff and delicious! Not only that but even their female manager does not know how to prep a cheese steak sandwich compared to their other sandwiches. My husband and I were very excited when this location opened. Unfortunately, the service could really improve (especially compared to the wonderful service I get at the Flower Mound location!). Sandwiches are always sloppily thrown together, lines are unreasonably slow (for what looks like a glut of employees behind the counter,) and they don't even accept the Jersey Mikes membership program. The food still tastes good, so I'm still giving it three stars, and I'm sure we'll go back because it's by far the closest location. But I am pretty disappointed in this location after today. My husband ordered a salad and brought it to me for lunch. As I started eating it, I noticed it was missing a meat that is supposed to be on that order. When I mentioned this to my husband, he told me that that was actually the second time they messed up my order. Apparently, the first time he clearly indicated that it was not to have any dressing or oil & vinegar. When he noticed the employee adding vinegar to the salad, my husband complained to the employee. The employee then asked if it was really necessary to remake the salad. Well, yes. It's covered in vinegar. That's not exactly something you can pick off. And I wish I could say that this was the first time they didn't get our order right. I had hoped before that the issues were just because it's a new location, but I doubt bad attitudes and laziness get better with time...
