Terrible service. I've tried to order from here twice and have had issues both times. Don't waste your time.

Food is decent for the price, nothing to rave about. Service inside is minimal. Restaurant interior is dirty, kids running around. Kinda chaotic... read more

I love ordering food from the Sidewok cafe because they always get your order right the first time they are fast I wish all food delivery were this nice. Thank you for always doing a good job!!! read more

I like this place, not only because its nearby, but they have great pad thai. Huge shrimp in the shrimp with snow peas. Fast delivery when I don't feel like walking over there. read more

We love ordering from this place! Their dinner for two is great! Large portions, the vegetables are always fresh and steamed, the appetizers do not taste of indifference, and the soups (all the soups) are relish! I wish they had a food truck on the Auraria Campus. This place is da bomb! Delivery is super fast, and friendly! read more

Ordered for delivery. Food tastes great! It was still so hot I had to wait to eat it! :)

Great to have options other than fast food in the neighborhood. Drunken noodles with tofu was good. read more

Sidewok Cafe - Carry out: Tofu drunken noodles and cheese wontons. Looks great and had good flavor. - Chinese Near Me - Denver, Colorado

Basil chicken spicy was alright but the tempura shrimp was a joke. I won't be in a rush back

Love this place! I order from them often. Great food at a decent price. I normally order for pickup, and they're very quick with preparation time. (I live just down the street from them and am normally there in 10 minutes, tops) The drunken noodles are delicious, and the egg drop soup is good. I've also gotten their orange, teriyaki, sesame, sweet and sour, and general tso chicken - all have been great! Their cheese wontons and egg rolls are also good. read more

An hour and a half for delivery less than a mile away. Angry service over the phone, needlessly rude upon delivery and left without providing utensils or napkins. The noodles I ordered were honestly inedible. The sesame chicken was, on the other hand, solid! But realistically there are better places to get take out or delivery in West Denver. read more

Bland food, rude delivery driver, when we called back for a refund for the meal, they gave excuses to why the Mongolian beef barely had beef in it and was nearly all onion, and was really rude. Do not recommend this restaurant, better food and service elsewhere. read more

Sidewok Cafe - General TSO chicken-swimming in sauce yet bland - Chinese Near Me - Denver, Colorado

Weren't willing to work with me when my order went through twice, food wasn't the best either. Sister ordered noodles but got rice. Not the best. :/ read more

One of my go-tos for Thai delivery! Great prices, solid food, and fast delivery. Highlights: Wonton soup (plenty of dumplings and extra veggies almost like a wor wonton soup) Hot and Sour- nice spice level and lots of ingredients Sesame chicken was decent Crab rangoons were fresh and delicious Only thing we weren't sold on was the Chicken lo mein. Asked to add veggies and they did for $2 but the whole thing had a bit of an off flavor. read more

JANE!!! Is amazing!!! She is very customer oriented and helpful! She catered to my vegan needs and recommended great dishes! She is clearly an aspect to this company. I was going to order delivery through a third part site but because of how helpful Jane was, I ordered directly from the restaurant! I highly recommend this place to everyone! Especially those with vegetarian diet restrictions- they care about you! read more

I'm new to Denver and wondered if the Chinese here could live up to my New York take out palette (snobbish as it sounds). Sidewok delivered...not literally, I picked it up but whose counting? The portions were great, the (real) meat was good, fried rice was real deal and the woman at the counter was lovely and spoke (somewhat) fluent english! Hooray! My boyfriend and I are sold! read more

I am a vegetarian and I am always a little hesitant when it comes to fake meat. I asked a few questions and found out it is all made in house. Now I have been ordering from here for about 5 months and I absolutely love their Vegetarian Chicken!! Especially the Drunken Noodles. I gave it 4 stars only because I have had some of their other entrees that were really good but not amazing. The fake beef also has a little too much of a bologna texture to me, although I do like the flavor. That fake chicken blows other restaurants out of the water though! Even my carnivorous friends love it and do not hesitate to eat it. Thanks for catering to us Vegetarians! read more

Ok, 1 way I decide to try a restaurant is by the # of cars I see in the lot consistently - but here we just happened to stop in late a night & they were open. I'm so glad we did because they have the BEST Vegan Happy Family in town!!! They also know the difference & cook the vegan/vegetarian food separate - I believe. Its family run & they always recognize us - I used to live close enough for delivery which is why the parking lot isn't full - they do a huge local delivery business! This place is well worth trying - the dining room is big & very clean. Enjoy! read more

Placed my first order from Sidewok Café today and I am so NOT impressed. Ordered the Taiwan Sha Cha Beef Lo Mein. The noodes were overcooked and all the vegetables were stuck together and "squishy". It was the most bland, aweful Lo Mein I've ever had. I will not be ordering from there again! The Jalapeno fried rice was decent. Oh, on a side note.....the driver was on his phone the ENTIRE time during the delivery. Even tried to talk my coworker into an estimate while still talking on his phone. That is just RUDE service. read more

I decided to give this place a try after driving past it all these years. Disclaimer: the inside does look as clean as the outside. It wasn't busy when we went in but the guy (maybe owner) wasn't very attentive to our table regardless. Whatever though, anyway the lunch menu has a very limited selection. Tried ordering something just a little customized and the guy kept saying "we don't do that" so I swallowed my pride and ordered the sesame chicken. It was alright. Everything was alright. Typical Chinese restaurant nothing too horrible except the service and the ambiance. read more

First of all... DO NOT EAT IN. The grime and filth on all the walls and doors is despicable. The bathroom feels like it is in a filthy train station in the middle of nowhere. The same 3 people are always there, sitting at a table doing who knows what, but they certainly are not cleaning. I've ordered (as delivery) a few different things.. The Sesame Chicken arrived in a sticky, over sweet sauce which I assume was used to hide the hard, charred "chicken" underneath. It seriously tasted like it had been fried in black oil from 20 years ago. The Fried Dumplings were dripping in grease with chewy, slick dough surrounding a lump of grey, rancid tasting, solid... something (supposedly pork). The fried rice is dry and flavorless. The ONLY thing I liked was the Tempura Shrimp which were large, crispy, tasty and seemingly fresh. That one thing is not enough to keep me going back though. read more

I ordered Egg foo young. Paid $15.00 for 3 rocks with rice! Absolutely horrible! No resemblance to egg fu young! No shrimp included. Horrible! Will NEVER order from there again!!! I called about the food and the guy there hung up on me, I then called back and after about 15 rings he picked up the phone and told me that every one likes their egg fu young extremely hard and I'm the only one who has complained. I find that extremely hard to believe! I've had egg fu young many times and it has never tasted like hard rocks! He refused to refund me! DONT waste your time or money on this place! They are HORRIBLE!! read more

The curry fried rice was ok. The lo mein and fried dumplings are... Something ill never be ordering again.

It was horrible. The beef and broccoli wasn't even beef and broccoli. More like beef soaked in sauce and broccoli topped on it. Then it took forever to be delivered to my house. In my opinion it was awful read more

This is the absolute worst Chinese food I have ever had. The egg foo young was stiff and hard and the so called vegie sauce that went with it was inedible. I had to throw it away. Never again! The delivery time was good, but who cares! read more

they say they don't use MSG but I've had bad MSG headaches both times I ate here. it took an hour to get food with only one other group in the restaurant. read more

My honey and I love agood Chinese food take out and we should have stood by our tried-and-true restaurants. The food we ordered from Side Wok was so so and it wasn't much to speak of until about an hour after dinner. I had the vegetable moo shu, always thinking that ordering vegetarian take out is a safe way to go. Needless to say, I had a MISERABLE 18 hours following our meal. I will now return to my old favorites. No more Side Wok. Ever. read more

Average Chinese food but it gets 5 stars for its vegetarian and vegan options.

They will not refund my money. I waited 90 minutes (they said 30-40 minutes) for my food to arrive at my house. My family had fallen asleep so I declined the order. This made them very mad. They charged me anyways. They refuse to refund my money. I had to cancel my credit card because I was threatened with another charge. read more

The DIRTIEST restaurant I have even been. If I weren't with friends I would have run. Walls and doors had filth. Snow peas on a table being snipped next to a laptop. Boxes and files on the floor. Staple was in my friends food. We didn't date say anything because she argued when when told the lady the order was wrong. read more

They have the best food as far as take out and delivery is concerned! The orange chicken, sweet and sour chicken, cheese wontons are great! The lettuce wraps I would pass on, lets just say they come out the same way they go in and I don't think that should happen with any meal! The delivery is always super fast, best time is 13 minutes from ordering! Would order again anytime! read more

I had dinner there this evening - I told the waitress "No MSG" her reply was we don't use it. Within 30 minutes after I ate I have a MSG headache, my lip are swollen, and I am throwing up! I called them, I was told I didn't know what I was talking about & I must have eaten some place else. Even though I had their receipt in my hand. They refused to do anything other than call me a liar and said I don't know anything. VERY RUDE!! They didn't even say "I'm Sorry". I missed a class I was supposed to do tonight & very likely I will miss work tomorrow. If it gets any worse it may be a visit to the ER. Very Very expensive dinner. I wouldn't go there again on a bet. If you want to get sick - go there! read more

Best fake-meat vegetarian chicken I've had in a Denver Asian place. Can't speak to the non-vegetarian options. It looks like a dive but that's probably why it's relatively cheap for quality veggie meats. Staff is friendly & accommodating with special orders too. A terrific place for vegetarians. read more

We have ordered delivery from them twice now and both times have been great experiences. The lady taking our order is patient and thorough! The delivery is fast and correct, and the delivery guy is so funny! Both times we ordered the crab ragoon and both times it was more more wonton than anything and the filling was mainly cheese, no crab. We ordered it the 2nd time to give them a second chance, but we won't be ordering it again. However we will continue to give them our business because the rest of the food is quite delectable!! (The pineapple curry is AMAZING!) read more

The food was ok... Egg rolls needed another 30 sec in the fryer to make them crispy, not chewy, and Singapore noodles were dry and definitely not medium spicy (which I requested). Not terrible, just needed a little more attention to detail. read more

Good options for veggies! Great take-out menu, we order from here at least twice a month.

Nasty. I ordered veggie and tofu pad thai. The delivery time was very quick, but the food was not good. I've had a lot of pad thai and something was wrong with the sauce. It tasted rank and spoiled. When I called to tell them, they just said "no, it's good" and "people have different tastes." He also claimed that I'm the first person to ever complain about their food. Yeah, right! Maybe it was a fluke thing.... I don't know. All I know is it was nasty and inedible. read more

I love getting food from Sidewok Cafe. Their veggies are fresh (ZOMG, the vegetable dumplings! So good!), and I really appreciate all the faux meat options. I opt for delivery most of the time, but in truth, I love going to the restaurant itself specifically because it is so campy. It's pretty much a Chinese restaurant dressed up as a Mexican restaurant. I wouldn't recommend it for a first date, but if you're with friends that have a sense of humor, it's great. read more

I ordered from Sidewok Cafe because it was close to our house in hopes it would be tasty! If I could give it 3.5 stars that's what I'd give it. I called after 6pm on a Friday and the girl that took my order was polite and friendly. We ordered the fried cheese wontons, sesame chicken, and general tso's chicken w/fried rice. They told me it could be up to 40 minutes but it took about 15 so it was speedy! The fried cheese wonton could use more cheese but it pretty good. The fried rice was bland. General tso's chicken was delightful and the sesame chicken (not by far the best I've had) but good. My husband who answered the door was not impressed with the delivery guy, not even a thank you for a tip. We will order again since it is so close to our house, if we lived outside of the area it wouldn't be a place I went out of my way for but overall it was good and will order something different next time to get a better feel of the quality. read more
