I made a delivery order for some salad rolls and garlic chicken stir fry. My stir fry had a piece of spirally metal in it. I hoped and prayed that so expensive a meal would only have this one strange bizarre extraordinary problem. I tried to very carefully eat this extremely expensive dish and hit something hard in another bite. I couldn't risk any more. I threw it out. I'll never ever eat here again. This restaurant was without a doubt, the second worst Asian food I've ever eaten. There seem to be a plethora of Asian places popping up in the local area a lot of them tie based. However only a couple are any good. This is not one of them. I ordered some chicken pad thai. What came out of the kitchen for me, for a few slimy overcooked vegetables, over a bed of very dry old rice, and the most anemic slivers of chicken I have ever seen in a dish. After eating a few bites I went back to the front door of the restaurant the owner came out to meet me. I told him how lousy is food was any proficially apologized and said he would make me a new one. I said don't bother you already had your chance. Though I've driven past Siam Spice many times in downtown Longview, I finally gave it a try yesterday; and this will be my new GO TO restaurant for Thai food. The owner (Daniel) was so welcoming. The menu had many options and Daniel offered to make any other Thai meals that might not be on the menu as well. He coached us through the often subjective heat ranges of the food based on our experiences with Thai food, and he hit the nail on the head; the perfect spice for both my wife as well as myself. We had both the beef and the chicken Massimo. What a wonderful selection! The gravy was sweet and savory and served with rice on the side for thickening, if so desired. The price was fair at about $11 per item. The portions were huge, we easily brought home as much as we ate. Give this place a try; you won't be disappointed and the family that runs the restaurant is SO nice! read more

Passing through town after visiting national park and decided to try this place. Service and food were excellent. We were able to dine in. Restaurant was following covid protocols. We loved the spring rolls, especially the house made dipping sauce. The potions were large and could have fed us for two meals. Wish I could try more of the menu and house specialties. We had Siam garlic with chicken and shrimp pad Thai, both medium spice. Definitely would recommend. read more

Passing through Longview and stopped for lunch. It looked clean and there were multiple tables of people eating. I asked if the spring rolls were home made and they were! (Cant stomach the frozen ones...) They were very good! I also ordered Pad Thai (medium spicy) and it was fantastic. Rich flavor and a large serving. It was spicy enough to make my nose start running but not spicy enough to make my neck sweat, Lol! (If you know, you know) I asked the gentleman who helped me his name and I believe he said Boon.... First time trying Siam Spice. I came with my family for lunch on a Tuesday. We entered to join four other tables of customers (the other 10+ tables were empty during our hour there). The menus were partially-updated with handwritten notes, but inconsistently. The prices on the first page didn't match the updates made on another page. I received a different appetizer than what I ordered. When I asked about it I was told that they don't have the item I ordered from their menu, so I received this instead. Huh?!? Why not tell me that you can't make what I asked for? Let me pick something else! They did offer to take it back, so that was nice - if only my hopes for what I ordered could be withdrawn so easily! We were asked how spicy/hot we wanted our dishes. We asked for Hot/3, but received Mild/1 on both dishes. We asked (begged?) for chili powder (which many other Thai restaurants offer immediately on request), but we were reluctantly given a tablespoon of very mild (old?) red flakes and powder. Disappointing, but it reveals why their food has no heat/spice. The chicken in one dish was unexpectedly minced, but the beef was sliced as expected in our other dish. Half of the mushrooms in one dish were sautéed, half were raw. We asked for lime with the Pad Thai, but received lemon. I understand that the wide rice noodles in the Drunken Noodles stick together very easily, but we received globs of 3-5 noodles clumped together. All easy fixes, but not. When we checked out, the tally was done on paper, then transferred to the computer as some other entree plus $19.99 to match the total on paper. Huh?!? Why use a Point of Sale register just to enter dollar amounts? All the beauty of inventory management and customer preference lost! Oh well, not my problem except for an awkward receipt that doesn't match my order. The recipes are good but the preparation and ingredients need help. If you like this place, don't go elsewhere for Thai - so you won't realize what you're missing. I might return if the prices dropped to match the quality, but as we were leaving we were told that the prices are going up even higher starting tomorrow. Had an order of Spicy Wings and Siam Fried Rice with chicken in the HOT heat category, to go. Wanted mixed seafood but they were out of all seafood choices. The fried rice was really good and the heat level was comfortable. The wings were another story all together. They were dried out, overcooked and had the texture of jerky. We eat here often, lunch, dinner both there and to go. The food has always been great. We love the duck, curries and pineapple rice.

This place is located in downtown Longview. I wanted to take all of my grandkids out to eat and they were very accommodating for our large group. We got red curry, pumpkin curry, fried rice, meatballs, and duck curry. Everything was absolutely the best Thai food I have ever tried. The owner and chef is a super nice guy and works very hard to make sure everyone is well taken care of. The next time I fly out to Washington I'll be back. It is one of my favorites now. read more

The absolute best Thai food in Longview/Kelso. The place is clean. There's always plenty of free street parking at dinner time. The prices are moderate. $13-15 per dish. But worth it and really not any more expensive than any other Thai place (except for the questionable place on beech and 20th but you get what you pay for...). I recommend any of their fried rice dishes and the vegetables/peanut sauce. Their coconut prawns are delicious too. Spring rolls are so good. They have some of the best peanut sauce so basically anything with the peanut sauce if that's your thing (obviously it's mine). We've gone to Siam Spice twice and had mixed results. On the first visit, the service (owner ?) was fast and friendly and the food was ok, not great. We were the only people in the restaurant. The second time the service (same guy) was slow, 15 minutes to get a menu, and food was terrible - everything was covered with sauce. We don't plan to return. read more

My family and I went. The server was really nice, but the food was on the oilly side with a lot of salt. So with the salt and oil flavor is fat for me to rate. I ordered from door dash ! Tired to get a refund but was DENIED! it was so spicy it was inedible . So here I am . Disappointed as my green curry tasted nothing like curry .... No coconut flavor at all ! I tried to get a refund off DoorDash and got declined..... Pissed af ! Apparently they don't give a crap about doordash orders as everything that's been through out my 3 years in Longview Wa has been a total disaster! We saw the high reviews on yelp for this restaurant and were immediately intrigued - we just had to give it a try. The atmosphere is very quaint and cozy, kind of has a cute Portland vibe to it. The service was prompt, our water glasses never went empty, and the food came out quickly. We started with the house-made spring rolls which were DELICIOUS. They came out piping hot and perfectly crispy with a freshly made pineapple sauce. I could have eaten those all day. 5/5 We also got an order of basil fried rice. It was fragrant and delicious, fresh, and full of flavor. Not dry, not greasy. Portion size was large, would definitely order again. 5/5 The pad Thai was pretty good but not exceptional. We both agreed the flavor was a little on the plain side although the spiciness level was spot on. Would still order it again. 3.5/5 All in all this place is a welcome oasis in an area where good restaurants are pretty hard to come by. We will definitely be back and highly recommend it. read more
