She then told me that someone will cut my hair if I don't get my hair shampooed or styled. Since I had left work early to be there, I decided to stay, and unfortunately that was a very bad decision on my part. The person who cut my hair didn't even dampen my hair, let alone wash it. she started combing out my hair and pulled on them so hard, I thought my scalp was going to come out in patches. This was the worst, most painful experience I have ever had in a salon. I cannot believe this actually happened, I have spots on my head that are still stinging. I will not recommend

When I told my coworker to text her, then they texted me back hours later and said we will check tomorrow to see if we have that certain day available. 3 days gone by and they texted saying that the certain day isn't available. No kidding I figured that out. They have done this to me a few times or always having a excuse. It's so rude to leave customers hanging especially with a big event coming up. They will not be accepting of new customers bc clearly they are satisfied with the handful that they already have. So don't even bother giving them a call. And their excuse btw is that they only answer to people that give them a text rather than a call. So unprofessional

No hair on the floor and scissors were never used so not sure what kind of magical haircut technique they used. Highlights looked like tiger stripes.... The following weekend, I had them redone at a reputable salon. I never posted a negative review because I decided to move on. But I see they have 4 stars and am baffled because this is not a 4star salon. The salon itself is TINY! No ventilation, it is in a space that is not meant for a salon, it is in a space built for a small office. They would be better off running this office out of their home than this location. I was there about 3 years ago and have never and will never go back.

The color is always the most perfect blonde and the cut is exactly what I ask for each and every time. She's sweet, classy and full of hair knowledge and experience. Before I switched to her, it seems every lady I met that had a nice hair color and cut always mentioned Distinct Hair Studio hence the reason I finally made the switch to see her. I'm so glad I did so. I will be a customer as long as she continues to do hair. I will also note that although Alex hasn't done my hair, I've sat and watched her technique and every lady that I've seen her do, looks amazing when they leave her chair as well. Once you get your hair done at this Salon, I'm pretty certain, you'll never want to switch, just like me.

I'm so glad I dodged the bullet. And I've attached the photo with the confirmation of my appointment.
