Love love love this place. My new go-to hair salon in Atlanta. Such nice and talented people all around! I knew from my experience on the phone that this place was great. The person who took my call was so friendly and welcoming and thorough in understanding my wife and I's haircutting needs. My appointment was with Alicia and she was really fantastic! I have very curly hair which can sometimes be a struggle, but she was totally up for the challenge. I showed her a couple of pictures of what I wanted and ended up with my favorite haircut I've had in a long time!! She is also so easy to talk to and gave me some great tips and product recommendations to help manage my curly hair. Thanks Alicia! My wife also got a great short haircut (by Joseph? we forgot his name). She usually keeps her hair below shoulder length so she really appreciated his insight into styling and care tips. As far as COVID concerns go, I felt super safe for my whole appointment. Notable precautions they're taking include: masks for all employees and customers at all times, appointment only (no walk ins), partitions between all salon stations, and additional cleaning around the store. This place only knows how to cut one style. If you're lucky, it will look good on you. I asked for a trim and my hair ended up with the most ugliest layers I've ever had (I had no layers prior) They do whatever they want and doesn't listen to the customer wants. Do not go here! When I messaged and complained, they said sorry "you" feel that way. No action to fix or anything. I had a weird vibe when I walked in and I should have listened to my gut instincts and left when I could! Overpriced and no talents here that knows how to do hair. I would show a pic of my hair but it's so damn embarrassing ! There's no accountability here and they don't care about the customers. Be aware and stay away! read more

I really wanted to love this salon! I got my hair colored and cut by this salon. My hair coloring came out okay but the colors are all uneven. The workers told me to come back for a hair cut so I could have "good style hair to go with my hair color." The people are nice but the hair cut I got wasn't what I wanted. I have thick hair so I asked for layers and thinning. At the end of my haircut I was left with an uneven amount of hair at the top of my head and thin strands of hair at the bottom. I also asked for curtain bangs but one side is much thicker than the other. I would go back to get it fixed but I didn't think much could be salvaged :/ This was my experience but it might be better for someone else with different hair texture! read more

As Joseph was cutting my hair yesterday I told myself "you need to make sure you [finally] leave a review for this place!". I always leave with a smile on my face and feeling like a million bucks and that feeling is worth a 5* review. Through the years I've found that Asian hair salons are the best way to go when it comes to dealing with my coarse hair. And this salon is as good as any I've been to in Asia. As a team of 3, Joseph, Jeeny, and Alicia are the stars of the show and keep every aspect of the place running like a well oiled machine. Joseph is incredibly talented; all I have to do is show in a picture of what I'm interested in getting and he will tailor it further to my face shape. And once he starts cutting your hair he gets in the zone and is so meticulous. Though Alicia has never cut my hair, I always look at her her finished product on her clients thinking "damn that looks so good" and frankly wouldn't mind if Alicia cut my hair, either. Hands down the best salon I have ever been to. Joesph and his team are so precise and pay close attention to your hair and it's needs. I came in with very damaged hair from previous bleach and a bad haircut from a previous salon. I got a great hair color match for my extension I brought in as well. They included an olaplex treatment for a discounted price for me. My hair felt very healthy and shiny afterwards. The best part though is how Joseph cuts your hair and styles it. After doing some extensive research online, I decided to try out d'Artiste for the first time. d'Artiste Salon is a relatively new Korean hair salon and has been open for only about a year. I chose this salon, because although they did not have many reviews, the reviews they did have were spectacular. In addition, you can tell that the owner, Joseph, is extremely passionate about hair as he has attended many events. My hair stylist was Alisha. Alisha spoke fluent English, and I was able to convey my wants and needs without difficulty. She was also exceptionally friendly and sweet. My haircut also came out fantastic. ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS PLACE!!! I just got hair cut and dyed my hair the past few days by Joseph and his team. He and his team are very friendly, nice, and welcoming the customers. I was impressed by the first day! His wife, Jeeny, I think that is her name; she is very kind and warming. I was very welcomed when I called to make appointment for the first time. I like the way they remember their customers' name really fast, so I feel I'm so close and get to know them for long time. To talk about their work, omg, SO AMAZING!!! I have nothing to complain!! I came in for a hair cut but scheduling was a hassle since they said I needed a lot of time for consultation since it was my first visit. I talked with the shampooist more than the hair stylist (language barrier). I told him what I wanted which was just a trim on the lengths and layers. Got a haircut and perm at D'artiste. It's been a few months and my perm still looks good. I sent my sister and mom who were visiting from LA (where there are endless great salons) and they both loved the way Joseph styled their hair. My mom literally gets a perm to touch up her roots every month and she mentioned that D'artiste used great products that made her hair look and feel great afterward. The only downside is that the prices are pretty steep compared to their competitors, but you get what you pay for. :) Joseph and his staff are sweet and really make you feel at home. Truly the best hair salon in Georgia. I made the appointment to color my hair in rose gold for summer. The appointment was easy to make and once I got there, I was able to sit down right away to have a consultation. As I have a very dark black hair, I already knew that I'll have to bleach my hair a lot to strip out enough to add color I wanted. However, Joseph, the hair stylist, assured me that he will try his best to minimize the damage as much as he can. After several hours of work, the color came out exactly or better than I wanted. He even showed me how to style my hair on my own to keep it up well. The best part of the service is the after care. Because I had some time constraints, I asked them to do my hair within 4 hours. It was nearly impossible if I went to an ordinary salon, but the miracle happened. But then, I called them back regarding few areas of my hair that wasn't able to get enough color in (still pretty but I called to ask anyways) and he asked me to come back to fix it. Free of charge. And now, it's even more gorgeous. The only negative part of my experience is that their prices aren't inexpensive. But at the end of the day, I was more than satisfied with their service and felt that the outcome is worth every dollar I spent. I highly, extremely recommend this place!!! read more

My brother and sister in law have been coming here for several years and highly recommended this salon. I normally go to NYC to get my hair cut, but was in bad need of a cut and possible color. Joesph is a genius! A total master at his craft. This is the best cut and color I have had in years.
