Kim was such a nice lady! She advised me on the wolf cut since it suited my hair and because I'm not used to styling the hair that I initially planned to cut. She communicated well with me about the price, length, and how to curl it at home (even though I have now decided it looks better straightened). I came in a little late (5 pm) and the whole process of deciding on hairstyle and doing it took 2 hours and a half, but Kim and the other lady (Veronica?) were super duper nice about it. 10/10 totally would come again. read more

UPDATE - I was going to alter my review based on the Cumming manager calling me. But after reviewing the salon response, I will not alter it.Let me be clear - my MINOR child's scalp was burning, there was steam from his head and he had globs of silver hair. How exactly is this a miscommunication? There was no miscommunication and I am further being gaslit that this is my fault. Kim was in a rush, she over processed and could have seriously harmed my child. WATCH THE CAMERAS FOR ALL OF THE DISCUSSION! She even said in her rebuttal "you said you wanted it like the boy in that chair", who I will add Rusty did an excellent job on and was processed correctly. So if this is the case, where did the leopard spots come from? Can't say more, character limit 2 years ago, during baseball playoffs, brought my son into the salon and saw Kim to bleach my son's hair. She foiled, turned out well and we were happy. This year, playoff season again so I called and got my son scheduled for her once again. Because we were happy, 5 other boys from the team (with 1 more possibly) making for 6 appointments that came to the salon because of our prior experience. 2 boys did Kim, one changed their appointment to another because of what my kid looked like. The other boys look fantastic, my kid, the day of prom as well, looks the best he can with the awful service that was provided by her. When we arrived, another boy was in the chair next to us heading to the dryer with a different stylist. I was very clear with Kim the expectation and showed her a picture from before. The service started and she used a cap this time because his hair wasn't as long as before. Half way through, she asked if the next boy who was scheduled to come 90 mins later could come sooner. He was an hour away, so she said she would then be able to fill the gap time with someone else. I mention this because this rush for getting more clients in, obviously is what played into my son's results. The boy who was there when we arrived was under the dryer for a long, long time. My son however, wasn't under long at all. Once he came out, he told her his head was burning and there was noticeable steam coming from the top of his head. She said he was ready and off to the bowl to wash. Purple shampoo applied and back to the chair. Wet, it didn't look like anything went wrong. She began to dry it and it was horrible. He has multiple different colors on the top of his head. Orange, brown, red, blonde and then patches of silver, almost translucent, and so many tips the same color. I asked her about fixing these areas and her attitude changed and turned into gaslighting me rudely that I said I asked for him to look like the boy next to us (he was clearly not a leopard color, not silver globs of hair and was done correctly, and I never said that at all) and that the picture was blurry, and everything else you could think of as she deflected her bad service. I walked to the front because I was very upset with her rude response and telling us that we need to use purple shampoo at home to fix it. She washed him again, no change. I just wanted out of there. I paid $114 for the service, left a 15% tip (never should have) and we left. I was more angry outside when the sun hit it with how awful it looked. I called the manager who heard me, was very nice and told me to come back to fix it. A steaming head, that was burning and a short time under the dryer means the heat was too high (she was rushing) and he was over processed. Upon returning, another teammate was there getting bleached by her and I haven't heard yet but am worried she made his hair horrible too. I did tell him to be clear to her he wanted blonde, not silver hair. The next stylist used toner by hand to try and fix it. It still looks bad, but nowhere near what Kim did. It was fixed enough to not look absolutely horrific, and we can doctor prom photos enough, but upon getting ready to leave...I said to the Manager I would like to leave this stylist a tip and get this, the manager said I owed 39.00 for toner for the correction, for what Kim messed up. I HAD TO PAY TO FIX WHAT KIM DID! And, the manager NEVER mentioned this when she said to come back so it could be fixed. At this point, I was so angry and wanted to get out, I paid and left. I was so upset, I didn't take pictures that accurately shows how bad it was, but the stylist sitting at the front desk staring at his head upon leaving the first time said it all. He has dark hair and the part Kim worked on is multiple colors. If you go to this salon, take note, you will have to pay for their correction of terrible work. I brought them MULTIPLE clients in one day and was treated that I made the mistake of turning my sons hair multiple colors. I do recommend the other stylists. I do not recommend Kim for any color work. I do not recommend the salon as a whole standing by the quality of work and leaving the customer to pay more to fix their mistakes. read more

Debated writing this review because I wanted to gate-keep my girl Kim. lol I stumbled on this salon on accident while in the area. I am SO picky with my hair and am rarely ever content with the results, but I even told Kim that this was the first haircut I've ever liked off rip. My husband has been looking for a new stylist too and I brought him here and he loves his results as well. Kim is so meticulous, detailed, takes her time, asks all the right questions and knowledgeable in her craft. She will make sure you're satisfied with the turn out before you leave. My hair stylist (Shannon) listens to me and follows my requests. She is very good with color and hair styles.

I called and spoke with Rae. She took the time to know what I wanted to do with my hair. She got the exact bob I wanted, gave me exact tips on equipment and product. She helped plan the cut so I can donate the hair we were cutting out. We agreed on plan on how future cuts (and possible gray highlights) might go in the future. I am excited, and will be back. Terrible experience I had to tell Rae how to blow dry my hair and it still came out frizzy! Never again.

Rae was amazing. I was in a wedding party so wanted to get my hair done. With less than a week notice, I was able to book a half up-do session. It was very enjoyable. veronica was amazing! i have been dying my hair dark brown with box dye for years & just recently i decided to go red.....realizing that it want a good fit for me I panicked and dyed dark brown back over it. naturally, my hair is dirty blonde and I had not dyed it in over seven months before I came to see it Veronica. The red was showing underneath the brown box dye and my blonde roots were about seven months grown out. it was a mess! but I went and got my hair done by her, and she gave me a really beautiful caramel balayage and keratin treatment. I wasn't going to post a review until I was told that my hair was cut unevenly which became the last straw for me. The person I had at first was very friendly and asked me questions to start a conversation. But when she asked if my hair was okay and I asked for her to cut it a little shorter she ended up complaining how she had to change everything. This is not good etiquette especially at a hair salon where you're supposed to please your customers. I ended up spending $41 which now I regret. Disappointed. Very sad and disappointed. I went in for a honey brown balayage with Jade had multiple pictures for her to look at (all within the same color tone. )She questioned my color she questioned why I wanted a balayage and those should've been hints for me to run. She bleached my hair to a copper tone did not do a balayage but instead recommended highlights. I'd figure she's the professional she knows my hair probably needs highlights. After hours of processing my hair with bleach and color tone. The results were horrible. I'd figure she would try to fix it to where I'd get something similar to what I'd like but instead she covered it up with some more color tone and all she could say was "it'll wash away". She had the audacity to still try to charge me for a balayage at the end after insisting that it was not a fair charge she brought it down to still charging me for the highlights that at the end she ended up covering up from the horrible copper tone. Which is still not a fair charge as I ended up leaving worse than what i came with. I felt cheated. I felt super sad and disappointed. I had to walk away with a horrible color to a really important graduation the next day and who knows where the manager was to make matters a bit better? Do not recommend and will never go back. I went in last night because I needed to get my hair right for photos today. I needed to go back to my natural color and over an inch of my roots is showing. My natural color is a medium brown and I walked out with black hair. Also when I walked in, I asked for a price. I was told $55 or $56. When I got the bill- after I had the dye in my hair and was letting it set- they charged an additional $30 for my length and an additional $10 to blow dry. I didn't get it blow dried. I kept saying I thought I was too dark and they said don't worry, it's because it's wet. I'm pissed. The girl that did my hair was clearly a recent graduate and asked for guidance- which I'm ok with. However, neither of the more experienced stylists cared to check up on her work after her initial question. The only reason I'm giving this place 2 stars instead of 1 is because everyone was very friendly, the place was clean and I watched others get a better result. read more

Let's first of all talk about the star of the show, Shannon!!! My wife has been going to her for years, following her wherever she worked. What a complete hair professional she has been over the years with style suggestions, hair color ideas, and overall personal service. I do want to recognize her to be a great asset for fuse hair. Now let's stop right there and explain why I even yelped her in the first place. I myself had found a man at Great clips who I thought was cutting my hair respectfully well over the past 10 years. Last time turned out to be a disaster and Shannon actually told me what he was doing wrong despite he was the manager. My hair was thinning out up top and gave it the bowl look from the way he was cutting it. Shannon actually fixed the ruined performance and shampooed my hair after the cut which makes more sense. She then put a little gel in it to make it wavy and stick up. Bravo! Finally , I look GQ now and will happily return for many more cuts. Give her a round of applause and give her a raise. read more

I made an appointment with Ms. Cindy, based on previous reviews. Today, I decided to cut my long hair to a short length! Ms. Cindy asked questions and really listened to make sure she understood what I wanted. From cut to styling, she paid attention to all the details and even cut my hair so that I don't have to spend too much styling, if I don't have time. So happy to find her! I am an African American with natural hair so, I'm pretty skeptical about salons that don't advertise natural hair services. I took a chance on Fuse based on Cindy's reviews and was not disappointed. I asked for a "blow out" but what I really wanted was a twist set. Cindy listened and actually worked with me to twist my hair the way I desired. I was very thankful for this because most stylist tend to shy away from services they are uncomfortable with- she at least tried. The only constructive criticism I have is regarding the products. The product that Fuse provides do not work well for African American hair. So, although I loved my style, it did not last. I hope they will consider different products for "holding tigher curls" and if so I'll be back! read more

Really great hair salon!!! I just needed a cut and sometimes it's hard to find a good place within my budget to get this done, but Fuse was amazing. Walk ins are accepted (one of my favorite things about this place), I didn't have to wait at all and was in and out in maybe 10 mins tops. Very clean and neat inside.
