I was blown away by the large selection of flavors that you can order. Solid size options. Delivery or pickup. They need to thaw a bit in the refrigerator before you serve them. All of mine looked like the pictures on the website. I went to an event with my husband and we got a couple of Twisted Tiramisu samples and that's what turned me onto them. My husband tried the traditional and said it was yummy. He did not share. I chose guava+goat cheese I figured go for it. Honestly, to my surprise, it was delectable. I am picky about goat cheese. I was tempted to order it, but there are so many options. The birthday cake: Lady fingers soaked in vanilla bean infused milk and/or coffee, layered w/ mascarpone mixture whipped with vanilla and powdered sugar, topped with sprinkles. The limoncello: Ladyfingers soaked in vanilla bean infused milk, Layers of sweetened limoncello mascarpone with Lemon curd top. The dirty chai: Layers of Vanilla Bean Mascarpone and Salt City Espresso Vodka+Spice Chai soaked lady fingers. The birthday cake tasted like sweet vanilla. Decorated with sprinkles. Limoncello had a delicate creamy lemon flavor. The dirty chai had a nice warm spiciness with a sweet, silky texture. These would be great for any occasion and especially nice for people who don't like cake. Apparently some people don't like cake. I definitely plan on ordering again. I had a little pick up hiccup and it was corrected promptly and at that time I was informed that one of the selections that I had ordered was unfortunately not available. I wanted the Amour Spreads Persian Lime Curd. Hopefully it will be available in the future. Future goals!

I wanted to find a traditional French boulangerie in SLC but did not see one, Zut alors!…read more I know Paris Baguette is a chain and has an Asian twist so we decided to visit on Saturday morning before driving back to Boise. It was early, and it was already busy. TIPs & TRICKs Follow the rules: Get the tray, then the wax paper liner, then use the individual wax papers at the stations to grab what you want. While you're doing that, pay attention to the pricing, because it can add it. To see the plain butter croissants empty already was shocking, but when we told the employee she came back to not only stock it but came to us first and let us pick which ones we wanted off the tray That was very nice The pain du chocolat looked good and were lacking in depth and flakiness of the crunch The Chausson aux Pommes - was really good - They could have used another minute or two in the oven to get that golden brown. They were looking like the pastly white guy at the beach while everyone else had a tan The mochi Dubai Chocolate donut was very good. The total was almost fifty bucks.... I told my wife that we could have about 40 croissants for that price if we were in Paris. C'est la vie! Look for a chain - Its pretty good. I didn't try the coffee but if they ever show up in Boise metro area, I would check them out to see if they match up with SLC.

Even if it was just me I think the small is plenty big. They have plenty of seating and a fun photo op wall as well. They offer ice cream as well. The workers were nice and it was cool to see them make them in front of us through the glass. I got the Strawberry Shorty that had strawberry chocolate, white chocolate, fresh strawberries, cookie crumble, and whipped cream. It didn't have very many fresh strawberries at all, but it was delicious! My sister got the Funky Monkey that had Reese's peanut butter, milk chocolate, bananas and almonds. It was delicious also! So rich and creamy, I just wish it had more bananas with it. My dad got the Dulce De Leche that had white chocolate, Dulce De Leche filled, banana, and toasted coconut. Like the other two it was delicious! Just wish it had more bananas. We took ours to go and ate them at home. They traveled just fine and were still fresh by time we got home (20 minutes). We all liked all 3 of them and cannot wait to go back and try some different flavors.

The donuts are crispy on the outside with a soft airy inside. I got the goddess and it was absolutely amazing. So sweet. I imagine that I would be too rich for those that don't have a sweet tooth but I love sugar. The place was fun and inviting. We were planning on going to another dessert place close by but they were closed so it was a happy accident that we came here. Definitely not a place you want to miss.

We looked up the menu online and already had planned what we were going to order. lol As soon as we got there and saw all the goodies, we wanted all of it lol First off, the cafe is open and inviting. There is a beautiful mural on the wall of a Polynesian woman created by Wilford Aljay Fuimaono-Manusina Art. The cashier was so sweet - from California so we connected that way lol Now, about the food. Here is what google provided: Sagato Bakery & Cafe is a family-owned gem in Midvale, Utah, serving the Salt Lake Valley with unique Polynesian, New Zealand, and Australian-inspired comfort foods and baked goods since 1994. Tucked away in a local strip mall, this welcoming community spot offers a cozy, unpretentious atmosphere known for hearty savory pies and rich island sweets. Savory Specialties New Zealand-Style Meat Pies: Flaky, golden puff pastry crusts loaded with savory fillings like mince and cheese, steak and cheese, or hearty chicken curry. Keke Pua'a: Soft, fluffy, freshly steamed pork buns. Classic Comforts: House-made pork sausage rolls, fish and chips, and large plate lunches served over rice with macaroni salad. Sweet Treats & Desserts Lamingtons: Traditional Australian sponge cakes dipped in chocolate, rolled in coconut, and filled with fresh cream. Island Cakes: Unique specialty flavors like guava haupia cake and rich Koko Samoa mini bundt cakes with caramel and whipped cream. Fruit Pies: Sweet and tart buttery pineapple pies. It tried the following: Steak & cheese pie Palusami corned beef pie Butter chicken pie Koko Samoa cake 100000/10. The meat pies were all savory and delicious. I love the flaky pie crust. The cake was a perfectly sweet ending. Wish they had a bakery in California because I'd be there every weekend!
