This is a really cute little shop! We came after having our son's haircut appointment just across the way. Nice employees, doing their best. The menus were just a little bit of a challenge to understand, but I just wanted something small so we ordered 6 filled mini churros. We got 3 filled with dulce de leche and 3 filled with Nutella. They were each chalk full of their fillings. Made super fresh they were hot off the press and they were really good! The Nutella ones were easily my favorite. I would definitely be willing to try some other flavors or items. It was $13 and some change, which was more than I intended to spend. Happy to support a local non-chain business, but I do think some improvements could be made :) read more

They may not be Disneyland churros, but they are an acceptable alternative when you find yourself in between trips to California. My family and I stopped by to check out the churros yesterday-partly because we were on the hunt for dessert, and partly because this was one of the few options available on Sunday in South Jordan. The shop is located in a strip mall area of The District with some parking out front, but spots can be hard to come by during busy times. There's a large parking lot just a block over, although most people try to park in front when possible. The menu boasts lots of delicious flavors, fillings and toppings....including ice cream! This is not a place where you get a 'small" anything. In fact, that was my only complaint. I would have loved to just order a single churro, but the smallest item on the menu was a six piece. Six! My son and I shared it, and it was far too much for us. It seems that everything is made fresh, to order, so there may be a little wait. And it's gaining popularity; in the time we were there enjoying our treat outside on a park bench, we saw no less than a dozen people coming and going. Plan accordingly. read more

I love love love love churros. Especially from Disneyland!! We ordered the 8 piece and the lady taking our order was really nice. We got plain cinnamon sugar to try first. It took about 5-10 min to get our churros they were freshly made. The lady was nice enough to give us some samples of dulce de leche and condensed milk. The churros were light not heavy and not greasy. But they didn't wow me at all. My first thought was ohh okay they are good. Costco still better for the price. It's good to try just once and maybe if I'm craving them again I would go. They also had these fruit smoothing and we tried I think it was pineapple mango and was really good! I was overwhelmed by the menu. I didn't do my research and was pretty surprised by how high the prices were. I picked the mini filled churros because my friend did. They took a SUPER long time to make. The lady who ordered topped churros after my friend got hers way sooner. And what I learned is that the churros with toppings come out way faster, cost less, and you get WAY more food. I was feeling pretty bummed by the time I got my tiny expensive order. After a delicious dinner across the way the wife and I thought we would top it off with a cinnamon sugar stick of goodness and seemed to have gotten twigs from yesteryear. They were cold hard the whole way through and thin. I will not fluff up this review with goodness as the churros themselves were lacking the n that department. But the only reason why they got two stars were the sauces they serve with the churros. That coconut concoction was the only sweet experience we had. Stopped by here after getting some dinner. Cute small place with some yummy churros. They offer dine in or carry out- but if you dine in there is literally no place to sit. There are two tall bar tables along the front wall you could stand at. So I recommend getting it to go, or plan on finding a bench outside to sit at. It is very bright and clean and cherry feeling inside and the staff was all nice. They have several different topping options, including one with fruit and a scoop of ice cream I saw someone else order that looked amazing! We for 8 churros with dulce de Leche and chocolate to go. It survived the trip home and the whole family enjoyed them, in fact 8 wasn't enough for us and we wished we had a few more. The churros have a great flavor and aren't too "bready" tasting. When I think of fresh churros I think of the churro being big, flaky and crisp on the outside fluffy on the inside, and warm. These churros are not fresh. They're small, fry like, and crunchy... I just went to the sweet churro and now I wish I hadn't. Wasted my money. First off was told it was a 5 min wait. 15 min later a tray of churros were brought out to the counter and the lady left. Then a young man who had Ben coming back and forth from the back that had been put back cleaning rugs, running his hands through his hair and not washing his hands or putting gloves on in between, served up our order. This time, ordered some plain churros to go and they were alright, so I was like.. huh maybe this place isn't so bad! So today I decided to go again. I had to get off the chair and ask about my order and the two woman looked at each other like they had no clue what I was talking about. Made me really mad but one minute later one woman comes with my churros, added the toppings and handed them to me. when I take the first bite I could immediately tell the churros were old, very greasy and hard. While Costco Churros still are her favorite, cute interior ambiance, convenient in the district near the movie theater, clean, staff is super friendly and helpful. We prefer more the churro rolled in cinnamon & sugar. These are more sprinkled on top. Fun alternate dessert option. Churros are thin and unfortunately not very flavorful. A bit bland and would recommend you explore toppings. We tried chocolate and enjoyed the dulce de leche best. Our preferred type of churro is crispy outside and soft inside. This place is cute but the churros don't live up to the same standard. The sugar doesn't stick to the churros, so they should put the sauce on it then sprinkle it with the cinnamon sugar OR they should use some sort of binding agent to make it stick to the sides of the dough. Otherwise it kind of just tasted like oil and Nutella. Pretty bummed. The price seems really high but 1 order is good for at least 2-4 people.
