But price-wise... it's a bit much. I remember the chocolate bars being around $20, and honestly, that feels excessive for what you're getting. It's hard to justify when you could easily make something similar at home without much effort. A group of us came for our book club meeting and we had no issue finding a table for 6. The interior is clean, bright, and beautifully decorated. I went here on a whim, drawn by the cute pink sign outside. Once inside, I loved the pink walls and velvet pink chairs which were surprisingly comfortable. It would be a perfect place for a girls brunch! The ladies running the cafe were so sweet, and they have tons of options, including sweets, drinks, and middle eastern breakfast items. They have a decent variety of gluten free options as well! I ordered baklava (delicious), a cinnamon roll (dry) and virgin raspberry mojito (very yummy). I would not get the cinnamon roll again, just because I prefer them softer and with more frosting, but the flavor was good. I would get more types of baklava for sure! And really enjoyed the mojito. Just wow! The desserts are incredible. So tasty and full of flavor and I'm pretty picky about my desserts. The decor is fantastic. The entire room is filled with pink flowers on the wall (that the owner individually attached herself). Now I get it, walls of pink flowers could seem intense and over the top, but it was actually really fun and playful. The owner Nazik is absolutely full of character, delightful to talk to, incredibly kind, and made our delicious adventure even more memorable. We had several desserts (cheesecake, macaroons, turnover...) but by far my favorite was the BLG chocolate. Absolutely worth it! Will definitely come again! read more

I was in the neighborhood and wanted to check out this shop. Generally I can't say I was impressed with the shop as a whole. I was shocked to see the massive variety of options available and definitely made a few careful choices, but wasn't a fan of the desserts that I tried. The baklava wasn't super fresh, and the other was missing flavors. The staff was friendly and made suggestions to help sift through the variety. It was nice to have them at hand and offer some direction. Tried the virgin mojitos, along with the walnut pastry. The pastry was soaked in syrup and was thickly sweet. The mojitos tasted more like sprite with syrup, there were slices of lime and mint leaves, but it was a miss for me, I love mojitos and it just wasn't great. This amazing little place surprised me-I would have guessed it would be located downtown or in a more happening area, not a strip mall in Riverton. But I'm not complaining! It's adorable and I'm glad we have something like it in the south end of the valley. Pink Sweets Café is more than a bakery-they have food and drinks as well. Everything is on the pricier end, but you're paying for quality. The also follow Halal practices, if that is important to you. When my wife and I visited, it was about 30 minutes prior to closing, so we opted to take our treats to go. I was really looking forward to trying this place. Unfortunately, this place is more about the visuals than the taste. It is INCREDIBLY expensive for what you get. I understand inflation but holy crap, this is a crime. The Dubai chocolate.... Yes, everyone raves about this so I had to try it for myself. It is just okay, I honestly didn't love it. My goal is to make this on my own and see how much I can make it for (I understand overhead but omg), $21 is highway robbery for a chocolate bar that wasn't even that great. I spotted this cute place on a drive by; you can see the pink decor from the street! The staff were nice and helpful. I tried a vanilla latte, baklava, tomato and mozzarella panini, and a croissant egg sandwich. The coffee was really good and not too sweet. It would be nice if decaf coffee was offered as well. The sandwiches were very flavorful! The baklava was okay but not as good as I hoped. They also have gelato which looked really good but didn't have a chance to try it. Everything I ordered tasted like dust. The Oreo cake, the new Turkish delights. The only thing that had flavor were the baklavas. The person was truly very sweet and kind but I wish I would have looked closer to their display closer to the front they had a Dubai croissant that looked so discolored and off. One of thee cutest cafes ever! If pink and gold is your aesthetic, this is the place to be. The food was amazing! A little pricey but I would definitely go again. They had a lunch & drink menu along with all the desserts. They had tons of baklavas to choose from. The cute gal was so sweet and patient with us. It was a little overwhelming at first but she was so nice. We got the grilled cheese, grilled croissant, tomato mozzarella panini, orange juice, lychee mojito, peach mojito and tons of desserts. My daughter loved the grilled cheese. She finished the whole thing! The grilled croissant was good, but it wasn't anything special. Same with the tomato mozzarella. Now the mojitos though...that was a whole other level. It was so good, especially the peach. So good that I went to order another. I literally can't stop thinking about it even to this day. The tulumba was really yummy. The baklavas were good - I didn't know the difference so I got just about 1 of everything. I really liked the walnut & the lip shaped one. I definitely will be back. It is true, there's several variations of baklava available but since I'm attempting the vegan Daniel Fast for Lent, the honey filled baklava will have to wait. I called first to see if they had vegan options and was told they sure do. This place is easy to find and there's lots of free parking. Choices, choices! Well, for vegan options, there were three available today but my goodness all the other desserts looked good. Since it was a bit of a drive, I decided to get one of each vegan option. Top shelf was their vegan Lemon Raspberry Cheese Cake. While the actual raspberry on top appeared fresh, the vegan cheese and cake layers seemed not as fresh. The cake portion crumbled easily and the vegan cheese portion seemed hardened? The vegan Lemon Mango had pieces of edible flower in it. There's a strong coconut flavor in this dessert. This also has a delicate mango finish. I liked the texture of the nutty crust. The vegan Raspberry Blueberry cake was my favorite of the three vegan options. It is tart at first but as you finish the bite with the nutty crust, it almost cleanses your palette. Thank you Michael W. for your recommendation. How can something look so good but be so boring? I went into today and got 3 items and paid $50. Crazy. Expensive and disappointing. Rainbow cake was worse than a cake at a grocery store. It had a strong aftertaste of flour. Dubai Chocolate was $20.99 but based off taste it shouldn't have been more than $2.99. I don't think I'll ever go back. Bad customer service too. The vibes of this place are 10/10! The walls are so cute, the pink lighting is fun and the pink chairs are so comfy. I came here for a girls night and we ordered lots of cakes and pastries and nobody finished them because they were truly just not good, and they were also such small portions, especially for the price. We even sat around talking for a bit and didn't even finish them while chatting with the treats in front of us. We also ordered two smoothies, which were the best things we got, but still not great. I went into Pink Sweets as I have been by it a thousand times and was craving something sweet. The atmosphere was absolutely adorable, extremely unique. I think though that you pay for that atmosphere in the price of the food. The cake slice I picked was $10 after tax? What I feel really needs work is that I asked questions about some of the more unique treats that they had that were their middle eastern treats. She couldn't tell me anything about them at all. Not what was in them, not how they are made. She only said "this one is milky and this one is crunchy and yeah I think they both have pistachio." I would have liked more information to help guide me on my choice, especially with such strep prices. Areas to improve for sure, but their displays were beautiful and extremely clean. The tables are also so close together it's a bit tight if it's busy. We held a very casual bridal shower gathering and they had a hard time taking the orders and getting them out very fast for our group of 8. Might have just been an off day in that regard. If you just get a dessert to go that may be a better option if the place is busy and you want to sit and enjoy without feeling squished.
