Went to Space Tea for the viral Mango Sticky Rice Smoothie. I gave it a 8.5/10, it was the perfect refreshing drink for a hot summer day! I loved the strong mango flavor and the subtle coconut that comes through, it's not super sweet but the right amount of sweet. And I loved the texture the little tapioca balls give the drink. Almost didn't try the boba here because I had my dog with me but luckily they are on door dash. I ordered the white peach slush with boba and the Virgo voyager with boba, which is a blueberry matcha drink. Both drinks were great. The boba wasn't too hard and had a nice chew. I do wish the blueberry matcha had a more distinct blueberry taste, but both drinks tasted great regardless. read more

We got the wintermelon milk tea at 50% and the otter space #1 with ube soft serve and could not finish either. The amount of sugar was sickening and difficult to drink. We went in first thing in the morning when they opened and served us right away! So very surprising since most places have you wait for a long time to serve your food when they open. Also very kind service, I appreciated their patience and felt very welcome. The ambiance of the place feels super calm and refreshing. The atmosphere is adorable, fun, and cozy. The employees go above and beyond to provide the best service. The boba is, of course, absolutely delicious. Really cute space, I went twice... once without an event and another time for the small business market. I love how community oriented the owners are. For the drinks, my one critique is that the barista should ask about sweetness level. The drinks are automatically at 100% sweetness and the drinks I got were wayyy toooo sweeettt. After several lackluster boba experiences in SLC, I was losing hope of finding a good place. Luckily, I was pleasantly surprised with Space Tea! My friends and I ordered via Uber Eats and had our drinks delivered. I went with a Wintermelon Tea (50% sweet) with Honey Boba and light ice. I really enjoyed my drink. Half sweetness was the perfect level for me, and the wintermelon tea was light and refreshing. I also liked the taste and texture of the boba. It was definitely the best I've had so far in SLC! Next time, I'll probably stop by in person to see what it's like inside. But regardless, it's nice to know that ordering via Uber Eats is no problem! read more

You enter the Won Won Wok drive-through and continue on to the boba menu to place your order at the window. I didn't realize that this place also has some light bites, including a Korean corn dog, so I'm definitely coming back to dine in. And I've made it a goal to try every drink on the boo-boo family list. The first one I tried is the ube cloud rosy. I wasn't sure how ube and rose would pair but since ube is pretty mild, it was actually very nice. I added boba and enjoyed it so much. It was definitely the pick me up I was looking for. Drowned my troubles in bubbles :D Service was friendly and pretty fast considering the drink. I didn't get to experience the ambiance on the inside but the drive-through felt nice! LOL I'll be back.

I love all grotto-adjacent spaces. So when I heard that I could enjoy tea service in a grotto, I was all in. This tea shop is adorable-with cute seating areas and even one table that's in a nook in the corner. That may be the "grotto" and it was taken by another party when I visited, but the nearby tables were just fine. I loved the rose tea and felt so fancy being able to pour it from a cute teapot. Can't wait to return and maybe snag the grotto table in the corner.

Try Space Tea! The staff is so friendly, the location is so cute, and the drinks are out of this world! They have so many different drink types and flavor options, and they also have non dairy milk options! The boba is so fresh and chewy, and I'm pretty sure they make new batches every few hours which is awesome! I definitely recommend getting either the Thai Milk Tea or the Honeydew Milk Tea. If you want a drink without caffeine, they have so many tasty smoothies made with fresh fruit! Their menu is also clearly labeled with what drinks contain dairy and/or caffeine, and you can add boba to anything! If you're looking for a local boba place to support, definitely choose Space Tea! read more

Wow I loved this place! The employees are always so nice (I've been back a couple of times, at different times and throughout the years). The ambiance is beautiful. Whether you want to come in by yourself or with a larger group, there's space, there's things to do. Very welcoming and community oriented. Obviously the drinks are great! I don't have the most diverse palette but every single thing I've tried from them is always so so good. Always recommend this as a place to hang out or just visit. Such pretty vibes! read more

Despite the mesmerizing surroundings, the tapioca pearls lacked the desired texture and freshness, leaving much to be desired. It's a pity that the stellar ambiance doesn't extend to the quality of their boba.
