The flavor of the drink is a little lackluster, but as a sweet tooth it's probably not the drink's fault lol. Out of all the boba spots in SLC, Xing Fu Tang definitely has some of the tastiest boba. It's chewy, sweet, and just overall delicious. You can really taste the brown sugar and it has a slightly burnt? taste, which I love. You can self order at the kiosk or order from an attendant. Ambiance is usually quietly busy. For a fun little game, grab a red stick at the bottom of the ramp and get yourself a fortune! There was a fair amount of jelly, and the sweetness was well-balanced. I liked that the drink wasn't overly sugary, and the red beans added a nice earthy flavor. Staff were friendly and helpful, and they walk you through the menu if you're unsure what to get. You can customize sweetness and ice levels. Overall, I think this is a boba spot worth trying. The pricing is reasonable. It's also convenient to get a drink here and then walk around Chinatown.

It's one of the most reliable shops for not having over cooked boba, and the flavors are great. My favorite drink is earl grey milk tea with cheese foam, which makes an incredible combination. The shop itself is clean, and offers a few board games and has music playing to entertain people that want to hang out for a little bit. This shop is just south of Chinatown, so you don't have to go into one of the busiest parking lots in the valley just to get a drink. The food looked gorgeous upon being served but I found the bingsoo to be lackluster. As someone who has had bingsoo multiple times, I found this bingsoo to be poorly shaven - the texture isn't as soft as many other bingsoos - and I found it to be missing the condensed milk throughout. The fruit flavors were great and I did enjoy the fruit as well. The egg waffle was lacking flavor, even for the original flavor. However it was well cooked, crispy-ish on the outside (a nice crust) and a soft and sponge-like inside !

We waited for over 20 minutes and there were at most 3 tables in the dessert area. In the 20 minutes before ours came out, they prepared 2 others -- so a total of 3 in that time period. Be prepared to wait...they share space and staff with the Malatang space next door, and they appeared to be moving slowly, understaffed and uninterested. 2. I waited patiently expecting to be blown away assuming they must have been spending the time meticulously preparing this dessert. I was wrong. It wasn't bad, but it was a few pieces of soft, delicious mochi along with a scoop of vanilla ice cream and caramel sauce atop a bowl of slushed ice, reminiscent of what I made out of my Snoopy snow cone machine as a kid and not the fresh, fluffy snow-like shaved ice one would expect with this order. Imagine hitting the slopes and skiing on ice-like granules instead of powdery snow. It's just not the same experience.

Took part in a Tuesday promotion where you get a free 3 ounces of froyo with a purchase. Tried the mango tea with mango jelly and added boba: it was good with a strong jasmine tea and mango flavor. Unfortunately many of the frozen yogurts were not very frozen and runny. The fruit flavors seemed higher quality than the chocolate and cookies and cream, which did not taste very appealing or high-quality. Did not get to try the bingsoo but the snow looked very soft and fluffy. Would like to come back and try it.

This place is also filthy. Every chair is just covered in gray filth and stains. EVERY SINGLE ONE. And a majority are torn up. Tables gross too.
