No excuse, no excuse, the girl lied said they were getting caught up, customer stopped said they waited 20 min. Let me add context since you responded. If you are working with DoorDash, you should know how it works as a restaurant. I put pickup time an hour and a half out because it would take me that long to get there. When we got there my daughter went in, she was in there 10 min, texted me the order wasn't ready. I sat in the car another 5 min. I enjoyed my food here very much! The shrimp was seasoned very well. I got the plain fried shrimp and the buffalo. I preferred the plain l fried shrimp. The fries were a tad bit too greasy. The kool aid was good also. The customer service was wonderful. All smiles and eager to help. The restaurant was clean and light and airy. I hope they continue to thrive. Service - Service-Service was exceptional! This place is located in a strip mall, once you walk in you are greeted warmly and they explain their specials and concept. You then order they will tell you their personal favorites and what people order the most. We had the 6 shrimp lunch basket (lemon pepper and bull ride flavors) and the blackening shrimp bake potato. Both are parties in your mouth. The shrimp are nice and big and cooked perfectly. The potato is filled with cheese and shrimp - then they give you extra sauce just in case you need more. Back to the service part - they text you when the food is ready. Then they show you the food before the package it up right in front of you. So you know exactly what you are going home with. I tried 3 flavors shrimp (sour cream &onion, ranch, hot lemon pepper) the most prevalent flavor was the hot lemon pepper and the ranch. I also tried the waffle. The waffle was crisp, flavorful, and held up well through the journey home. The cinnamon butter was also a plus and perfect pairing for the waffle. The basket came with fries. The fries were ok and could have had more of a crisp. Overall, I plan to check them out again. The greatest highlight is the fact that they clean their shrimp well. The space is pretty small but they have a few tables or countertops where you can dine-in. Ordering is simple - walk up to the counter, make your selection, and choose your flavors. First visit, I ordered the 8pc Texas size shrimp basket and my two flavors were Sour Cream & Onion and Lemon Pepper. It came with seasoned fries and a drink (I got the strawberry lemonade). They prepare your food so be prepared for a little wait. You actually get a text when it's ready. The shrimp was so juicy and just good. Sour Cream & Onion flavor is definitely my fave. Some of their flavors are like a dry rub while some are more wet (think like chicken wing flavors). I don't do spicy but hubby tried the spicy flavors and said it was good but messy. We've also tried them plain with no flavor and dipped in their garlic butter sauce. If you're looking for some good fried shrimp, then this is your place. I tried Shrimp Doc for the first time yesterday and it was really good. Customer Service was fantastic - very friendly staff, quick turnaround on my order. I ordered the maple shrimp and waffle and 6 solo shrimp (tossed in lemon pepper and spicy lemon pepper). The waffle and maple sauce was exceptional. For the maple shrimp, I got the sauce on the side which I think was a good call as it may have overwhelmed the shrimp. But this dish was unique and in a good way. The lemon pepper and spicy lemon pepper shrimp was battered perfectly and had a really good and consistent texture. My only criticisms are the the lemon pepper/spicy lemon pepper could've had a little more punch to it, though it was decent, and they forgot to put my spicy ranch in the bag, but the food was fine without it. Very disappointing experience. My husband and I tried this place today, and the food was terrible. The "blackened shrimp" was more like étouffée shrimp, and my garlic Parmesan shrimp was dry, greasy, and flavorless instead of having a creamy sauce. The shrimp on the baked potato were tiny, and they try to upsell larger shrimp to make up for it. When I called to complain, the owner was extremely rude and told me to drive back from Arlington to Dallas for a refund, an unsanitary and unreasonable request. I've now been to this place twice, the first time I went was when they first opened. The shrimp was greasy and not good and the wait was very long. I went back yesterday and it was redemption. The wait however is still a little long, when you place an online order it tells you that the wait will be 10 minutes on your ticket, but I ended up waiting about 35, which was frustrating bc my expectation was 10. I had the most amazing food and experience! Unfortunately, I don't have any pictures to share because the food was so delicious that it never made it out of the parking lot! We had the 6-piece Texas-size shrimp with lemon pepper sauce and spicy ranch, and the 8-piece Texas-size original fried shrimp with fries - both were mouth-watering! As soon as we entered the place, we were warmly welcomed by the staff who were more than happy to walk us through their extensive menu, which was super helpful since they had so many tempting options.
