The catfish was delicious, but a bit thin compared to other places, but good batter. The fries and hushpuppies are good. The grilled oyster was $$$ but worth it! Crawfish was B5G1 so you'll get 6 pounds for the price of 5! My only real complaint is that the way they cook their crawfish, they crushed a lot of them so most of the claws fell off. When we were done with the bags, it looks like a pound claws were just sitting there. Overall good, would go again if invited. But Joe had my heart. We wanted seafood and found a great place to eat. We both ordered the 2 piece catfish and shrimp meal with fries and food was great, shrimp was big and tasty as well as the fish and generous amount of fries. Service was awesome, waitress let us sit wherever we wanted and she constantly checked in on our meal satisfaction and provided any sauces for dipping. I got the garlic butter sauce with medium spice, and my boyfriend got the original with medium as well. I'm from Louisiana. Let me first say that there's nothing "cajun" about this place. They only put "cajun" on their building in a poor attempt to compete with Bayou Cat that is located across the street. This place is no where near as good as Bayou Cat. I only went to this place because Bayou Cat had closed early. The catfish basket's fish at this place was NOT catfish. The fish was tilapia being passed on as catfish which is ridiculous and pathetic. I was going to go back and demand a refund but I didn't have the time. The crawfish were steamed and drowned in garlic. They had no cajun taste to them at all. This place is a joke. Now I see why I was the only customer in this empty place. Will never go here again. Food was served fast and very tasty. The waitress was on top of it and served us quickly. We got the #6 boil for the four of us and it was delicious. The fried calamari was pretty good and the dozen oysters hit the spot. The one thing that made this not a five star review was the guy, we assume the owner, who decided to sit in the middle of the restaurant watching videos on his cellphone on full volume for us to be forced to try and dine through. First of all, let me put it out here that I loved Krispy Catch. I come here at least once a month. Anyway, I don't know if they have a new vendor, but they now serve "fresh water crawfish". They taste about the same, but their tails are kinda flat and the shells are much harder. The most important thing is, they have worm looking strings in the heads. I'm 90% sure they're worms or parasites. Not all of them have the strings, but a lot does, so I don't think they're part of the crawfish. So I'm throwing away the whole bag and not gonna risk eating parasites. I'm actually worried that I ate some before discovered this. What a waste of money. I live right behind this place, and hadn't eaten all day(it was about 2:30pm) and I usually drive right by it- but thought "Why not?" What a terrible idea. I was the only customer, and I am Covid Immune and non-contagious and it looked clean, so I went to the counter and ordered. I ordered a bowl of Gumbo with seafood and andouille sausage and 6 "cajun wings." There was "nothing" Cajun about this food. They brought me out the "gumbo" (this is NOT gumbo) in a plastic bowl that must've been microwaved for 6 minutes because it scalded the crap out of me and would not cool down. It was not even made with a Roux, seemed like tomato and bullion, with super tiny - I mean tiny- shrimp and super tiny sausage, with a very non-gumbo flavor. It burned me so bad that today my lip is blistered. I didn't eat more than maybe 5 spoon-fulls, and it was tiny plastic spoon. Then there was the wings, burned and sitting in a pool of grease which added to burning my lips and tongue some more. It was some kind of mediocre garlic sauce on them, not a Cajun flavor either. I ate them as best I could, seems like they needed to change their grease. Guess I should've had the catfish - not that I would EVER go back or recommend them. The girl at the counter was nice and I tipped her $5 on a $20 tab when I ordered. She also really didn't know anymore about what's Cajun than the cook does apparently. Campbell's Soup makes better gumbo for Pete's sake. This star is way down low - I say don't go. The place is clean but deserted for a reason. read more

The crawfish here is delicious no doubt but the service was quite poor. My friends and I came in at 9:20 (40 minutes before they closed) hoping to get a quick night dinner. We definitely felt bad for coming in late but because of that, we ate quickly so we wouldn't take too much time. By the time we got our food, we ate for a good 5 minutes before the waiter came by and dropped off our check. We were already shoving down our food quickly but the fact he did that made us more pressured to eat quicker. That's not the environment one would like to eat in LOL. I went here and got bucket number 4 and when you're eating crab boil your hands get dirty so I asked for a new togo cup for the road and they said they cannot give it out even though I had coke and only asked for a new cup.
