perfect way to fill my crawfish craving. the crawfish was decently sized and tasted wonderful. the sweet potato fries were thin and crispy on the outside, soft in the middle. the oysters were also a decent size and well cleaned. however, i would bring my own gloves if i need them because the crawfish juice goes through the gloves. and they only have one size, which i believe is a large. the staff always came to check on us because we were a big party, and i understand if they missed a drink or two during refills. they have sinks that are separate from the bathrooms, but i do wish they had a roll of napkins there to dry my hands instead of having to walk back to my table. read more

Usually come here for crawfish, never a bad time or a terribly long wait, but today was different. Ordered 4 pounds, sausage, and eggs to take home. Was told 20-30 minutes until pickup. I decided 30 minutes was the time I would arrive. Not ready, no big deal, but the restaurant was empty. 15 minutes later the nice hostess in the front went to check and see what was going on, she came back with an apology for the delay, and said she didn't know what was taking so long. I did not blame her and said thank you. After 20 minutes extra wait time overall, I received my food. I asked for everything to be put into the bag together so I assumed it was correct. Went home and unfortunately I did not receive the eggs, everything else seemed right. Called up the restaurant and they could only offer to refund me if I drove back to swipe my card. After driving 15 minutes there and waiting an extra 20 minutes already, I was not going to waste more time. I offered them to give me a credit next time I come and take my number down. They only offered for me to drive back for the refund on the missing eggs. It was only $6, but the wait upset me and they did not offer an easy solution when they gave me 2 problems they themselves created. I'll try the other locations or the multitude of crawfish places in DFW from now on. I know a bad order happens, but with the place dead, I expect to either get my order right or on time. read more

I was craving raw oysters, so a friend suggested we go here for lunch. We got seated quickly because it wasn't that busy. Our waitress was friendly and helpful. The food came out fairly quick and hot. The oysters were clean and fresh. That really satisfied my cravings. We got two dozen and finished it all. The gumbo, on the other hand, was salty. I took two bites and had to put it aside. The fried catfish basket was pretty decent. The snow crab meat was good; it wasn't overcooked, but the sauce left me unfulfilled. The restaurant is clean and spacious. They have a bar there and plenty of TVs. I don't think I would go out of my way to come back here, or I just went on a bad day. Who knows! I've been here a few times now, and it's quickly become one of my favorite spots in Arlington. The food is always fresh and packed with flavor, and the drinks are priced just right. It was ok. I'm not a fan of shrimp fried hard, with a lot of batter on them. If you remove the batter, then there is a flat small shrimp inside. This was basically the same for the oysters. The body of the snow crab cluster was sparse and the legs after cracking open the shell the meat was very tiny. This is a clear indication of the meat being over cooked! Had the combo with half pound shrimp, half lb. snow crab and half lb. king crab. Sauce was good to me, very garlicy, very very buttery (maybe too much butter), good spice and flavor but was barely any sauce at all. Seafood: The seafood was cooked okay (shrimp and snow crab) but the king crab was wayyyyy overcooked and could bend the the legs into each other without them cracking at all. Also the extra sides are put in a different bag which I would have preferred them to be all together since there was barely any sauce already. The meat in the snow crab was also kind of sparse in comparison to its shell and to other places. Sides: The potatoes are the big ones that are cut in half not the tiny potatoes that are just more fun to eat. The sausage wasn't the best quality either, the best side was their corn but even that I think was cooked in water first because when biting in it had a nice juiciness but without much flavor from the sauce I just didn't like how much butter there was not because of the taste but because of the butter stench that is on your fingers and face afterwards, had to shower to stop smelling the butter smell. read more

The food is definitely good there. I tried the crawfish which was flavorful and the sauce that they used is quite nice. Basically there's no issue when it comes to the food. Plus the atmosphere there is pretty chill as well. However the service there was kinda bad. My friend and I were just sitting there and eating and I overheard some servers asking what time did we get there, and they said something about us being here a while. Mind you we were only there for less than an hour at that point. I also noticed that our server also asked her other tables if they wanted their check when they were obviously done. But for my friend and I, we were still in the middle of eating and she gave us our check and left. Flavoring was very good and citrusy, a lot of stuff mixed in together and very saucy, I prefer drier style but this isn't too bad if you're into sucking hot fingered after every bite and if you're the garlic lover. Crawfish was seasoned very well but they were smaller than other places around Arlington plus a lot of them were dead before cooked. Shrimp was good, really enjoyed it and it was sweet, the crab was fantastic but cooked different then expected. It wasn't really tossed in tamarind but more like Chinese stirred fried. I came to this location just to order take out because it was conveniently next door to Kroger. This has to be the nastiest shrimp I have ever had in my life. I bought a pound of shrimp with medium seasoning. When they gave me the bag I could smell all of the flavors and I was excited to get my food home and try it out. When I got home, I was thrown off because I ordered shrimp but the heads were still attached. I asked the young lady over the phone would the heads be attached and she informed me no. Since I was so far away from the location I just decided to keep the shrimp. After de-heading the shrimp(gross by the way) I finally was able to eat. The shrimp lacked Flavor, and were extremely mushy and gross. I was so disappointed. How can you lack flavor in a shrimp broil? I ended up having to throw away $14.00 worth of shrimp because they were really gross. I took a picture but don't let the picture fool you to believe that this is a good product. This is what mushy, tasteless shrimp looks like. If I could give negative stars I would. I had to go to Shell Shack just so I could finally get a good shrimp broil. Krispy Catch is a hidden gem. This restaurant has a Vietnamese take on classic Louisiana crab broil. There flavors are unmatched and unique. I love the garlic Cajun flavor with the snow crab legs, corn, and potatoes cooked to perfection. The crab was extremely fresh and juicy. I did go recently for their crawfish which is usually amazing every time, but was disappointed by the size (they are usually way bigger) and since they were so small they were slightly overcooked and mushy. I must have caught them on a off day. Regardless, their margaritas are refreshing, and their their fried shrimp and french fries are way more flavorful than other Asian-fusion crab restaurants in the area. read more

Try their Cajun garlic wings! Tip: I'd order your appetizers / fries first and then order your entree or seafood. They can't grasp the concept of appetizers needing to come out first. They bring everything out at once and you must eat them all fast and all at once if you want them hot and fresh! So order the fries first and you can enjoy them while they're hot!
