I only come here for the gizzards, haha. I'm addicted. They're so good and only $6 for the 12 piece. It says "12" piece, but there's like... 30 lol. Maybe it's made from 12 birds? I have no clue. But totally worth; it's similar to popcorn chicken :) There's always a slice of bread at the bottom too. You can get the gizzards in mild or spicy. These are amazing and crispy when you eat them fresh right after you get your order. My family always likes to buy them as a snack. Careful since they're really hot though and the box is made of paper, so the contents will make the box soggy from all the heat. Customer service is pretty good. The intercom can get a little glitchy here and there and the owners have a semi-thick Korean accent which doesn't really help during those times, but it's all good. The questions are usually "how many" and "mild or spicy?" Recently, I've also tried their chicken tenders and those are nice as well. It's a drive-through only type of place, so make sure you're coming here knowing it'll be a pick up. read more

They obviously sold this place to new owners because the food has drastically changed. Tenders are small and prices have increased and the quality is no longer like it use to be. read more

I stopped at Crispy's Great Chicken & Seafood at 18:10 on 03/18/2026 and ordered regular fries and a 6‑count gizzards. What I got was flat-out unacceptable. The food tasted old, stale, and borderline spoiled -- like it had been sitting out forever. It was a complete waste of my money. The younger guy at the window gave me this weird, smug smile like he already knew he was handing me garbage. If you know the food is bad, don't serve it. That's basic respect. I called twice to get it fixed -- no answer, no effort, nothing. Just silence. Crispy's, this is exactly how you lose loyal customers. People work hard for their money, and nobody deserves to be served trash and then ignored when they try to address it. If any of you were handed food like this, you wouldn't accept it for a second. After today, I'm done with this place. I'm not paying for old food and disrespect. read more

Only thing I get from here is the chicken gizzards. Spicy and regular (for my kids) and they are always good. The special sauce they sell additional on the side for like $35 cents a container is also good. And cheap for that price because you have to understand. Containers and lids are not free. read more

Best fish in town literally here every other day!! Fresh and ready ! If you haven't been I think you should stop by !!

First time eating here, and I was underwhelmed to say the least. We visited at just 20 minutes after opening, and our car was pulled for about 10min, yet everything we ordered was pretty cold/room temp. I was expecting more since the reviews were so good but everything was pretty mid. read more

I eat here all the time and I will vouch for this place until my end. Love the 3pc meal! (& an extra bonus bc they make their own juicy pickles and tangy hot sauce.) Convenient and delicious read more

The do not use gloves while preparing food. The onion rings don't have onion in them. The guy in the freezer was pulling out food with his bare hands and knocking the ice off hitting it against the freezer man. Overall I'm glad I experienced this place, I will now start eating better and being more cautious of where I eat. Thanks crispys read more

This is a very small chicken and catfish spot. It's so small that it's drive through and walk up window only. There is no inside dining area at all. It's located right next to a Tiny Bubbles laundromat. If you love tender, flaky, well seasoned catfish I wouldn't recommend Crispy's. I ordered the $6.49 lunch special because it comes with fried catfish filet, chicken tender, seasoned fries, a roll and a drink. The draw for me was the catfish. And that was the least favorable part of the meal. I'm not a French fry person but they season theirs and they were hot, crispy and tasty. Also, I don't love chicken, it's just okay to me but the tenders were okay. Not seasoned at all, just battered and crunchy from being fried hard. It's served with a basic store bought dinner roll. The fish is fried crunchy hard with a frail sliver of catfish lost inside that hard coating. If it's really catfish. Oddly, they have sweet tea here but no unsweetened tea. read more

BEST FRIED GIZZARD EVER! I am so in love with it. It's always prepared hot & they give you plenty for a reasonably price. I've been going here for 5-6 years just for their gizzard! A must try!! Yummmmmm :) read more

Hole in the wall for a quick bite, it's a drive thru, no seating! My favorite fried chicken/tender place ever. Big portions for cheap!!! The chicken tenders were HUGE, extremely flavorful, hot, and juicy!! My order came with 4 and I could only eat 2 because it was sooo big. Also came with fries, bread roll, and a drink; all for about $8! I've tried a lot of fried chicken places and this is definitely in my top 3. read more

I always saw how busy this place was so I decided to try it. I got the spicy fish and my friend got chicken tenders and gravy. It was a lot of food for $20. I especially liked the fish but I did enjoy the tenders. We already talked about going back. read more

A bit of a whole on a wall place but the food is very good also near work too! I had the fish and fry meal for 5 bucks which is a Super good deal when you're hungry. Will have to try the chicken when I come back here again. read more

It really is crispy and great chicken !! I loved this place specifically because it had gizzards. Definite game changer if they sold liver as well. The fried chicken was crispy on the outside and super juicy once you peeled into it. I got the "6" order of gizzards and it was obviously a lot more than 6 pieces lol. I can't imagine how long a full order would've taken me to finish. I was hesitant to try the spicy flavor for the gizzards but next time for sure. I wish they had a spicy option for the fried chicken though. The food was SO good, I'd come back for sure to try some of the other stuff they have to offer !! read more

Flee! Drive down 303 a half mile and go to Lisa's. Serously, I've given this place two chances -- service is slow and surly, food is only passable at best. Unless you are stuck at the laundromat, do not eat here. And if you are, walk over to Tacos Mexico, because this place is pretty awful. read more

Absolutely never again. If I could I'd give them a zero star rating. I had hair (baked) in my shrimp. So I had to take it back. Got "fresh" food. Only to find again hair baked in. I called to tell them. And they not only gave me attitude. But, they hung up in my face. I had to go back to show them the hair. And they still have me attitude. Asking why I came back two times. When I had hair in my food two times!!!! I've been there at least 3 other times. But, I will never go back after this terrible experience. I would have been chill if they didn't give me attitude. Fast service, CRISPY juicy chicken, big portions, good home made hot sauce, nice people. Been coming for a while, well deserved 5/5.

This tiny restaurant located in front of a strip mall on a very busy and bumpy street catches my eye each time I drive to my friends house. It's drive through only and all I gotta say is.. Spicy Gizzards!!!! To be honest, I had no idea what gizzards were until I looked it up. At first I was shocked and a little weirded out but these things are way too good to pass up. I wish I had more to say about this place but it's pretty basic and they concentrate on what they know. Since it's drive through, I can't get any feel for the atmosphere or customer service but it's definitely a place that's interesting to try. read more

My has this place gone downhill i will never be back again. My last two visits here were very disappointing and i will no longer continue to give them any more of my money I'm done. The fish taste awful its hard and flavorless and really greasy just disgusting. This place used to have really good catfish and i feel bad for sending ppl here now cause they gonna think I'm full of crap for sending them to such a terrible place. Im done with crispys I'm going to have to find another fish joint. read more

I don't know what kind of customer service you're expecting from a little stand off the road. There's no where to eat, so it's all to go. They're friendly enough for being run by little Asian people. They do take long. There's not usually more than 2 people in that tiny place. I'm not even sure if you can fit more than two people in there. But it works for what it is, and the fact that most people are willing to wait 10-20 min for "fast food" says something about this finger lickin' chicken. I'll say this now, I've only ever ordered the chicken strips. (Though the security guard at my bank used to order the catfish and shrimp and loved it.) I order them spicy. (And there's a decent hint of spice, though I still call it a hint.) I'm almost sure they don't cook it up until you order, but they are the most delicious, moist and crispy chicken tenders in the history of the world. OF THE WORLD. Their sides are okay, but who really gets fast food fried chicken for the sides? I want the heart cloggin' chicken, thanks. Always ask for their homemade hot sauce because it is out of this world! I don't know what makes it so good. I can dip my chicken in it and it's perfect. I can also eat my chicken with sticky rice and use the hot sauce and mix it with some soy sauce and I have a happy tummy. Careful on asking for extras, though, they're pretty stingy with the sauce. Again, slow service, long wait, DAMN GOOD FOOD. Would I come back? GIRRRLLL, I was here two days ago, and I'm still lickin' my lips. read more

Finally gave this place a chance I've been told for over a year how good their chicken is and I was too afraid to try because you don't know what to expect from a small stand off the road. Well I was more than surprised, it was great! They fry the chicken right after you order it so its very fresh no heat lamp chicken here. And those strips are humongous, I'm adding a photo so more yelpers know what they're missing because I almost didn't try this place again since there wasn't a photo on their yelp page. read more

If I had to rate this restaurant out of five stars I would give it zero but I was forced to give it one star the chicken taste like rubber the gizzards taste like seafood and the ranch cost $.25 extra very dissatisfied with this chicken place would never eat there again would not recommend it to anyone of any origin. I also got Sprite and there was zero carbonation read more

I've tried the chicken, fish and shrimp. The food is fresh and cooked on order, fish has the right amount of crispness with the cornmeal coated seasoning just the way I like it. The chicken is also good and seasoned well. Shrimp is okay, I recommend the fish read more

This review is for the Catfish only. If you've read any of my reviews you know I love CATFISH! Arlington has been lagging behind when it comes to catfish offerings compared to Dallas and Fort Worth and after reading reviews for Crispy's I thought maybe they were making some progress. Well when it comes to Crispy's they are not. I've passed this place many times and wondered and curiosity finally got me. I wish I would have just kept driving. I suppose the name Crispy refers to the chicken. The fish was way below my standards it was not raw but not fried enough, there was no flavor whatsoever. No fish flavor, no saltiness, just bland. I ate some of the fish and some of the overly greasy fries it also came with 3 under-cooked hushpuppies and tossed most of it. I would never recommend this place to any of my fellow catfish loving friends. I was very disappointed and I won't be back to even try the chicken. read more

This probably my favorite spot to get gizzards or catfish. Truthfully Idk if it's catfish or swai‍ but I get it spicy and it's superb. Please expect a wait. Be patient. I hate when I hear people complaining about how long it takes. You want your food hot and fresh right? If not you would have went to long John silvers. I'm a person oh habit so I can't recommend anything else but I'm pretty sure it's all good. The owner always smile when she realizes it's me at the window read more

Their fried catfish and shrimp is decent. I've been scared to try this place and randomly went out on a limb and tried it. I think its a good fried food fix. I got the catfish fillet and 6 piece shrimp combo. I didn't want the drink so they gave me huspuppies instead. Fry's were ok. I'm the hot sauce queen and their home made hot sauce for 25¢ was good. I probably wouldn't get their food without three hot sauce. But that's just me. read more

What a hugely pleasant surprise. Went there once when down in Arlington for the day and now I wish it were in McKinney. Fried fish made to order. I thing I paid $4 and change for catfish, fries and a drink. They could've charged me twice that amount and it would have been a fair deal. Here's why: it was made to order so i got to choose what kind of breading on the fish. It was so hot I nearly burned my mouth on the fish. Coworker raved about this place so I gave it a try. I ordered the 4pc chicken tender combo and got the only shrimp order. The chicken tenders were big and cooked pretty well which is how I like them(cooked) shrimp were kinda bland lil to no seasoning and more batter than shrimp. I think I'll pass on those when i go back but the prices were reasonable for the amount of food so the portion sizes fit. If you're looking for a quick bite this is your spot. read more

This is my favorite place to go for fried chicken. We always get the hot sauce to go with it, so good! Last night we wanted to try the catfish. We ordered it and got home to realize they gave us chicken instead of catfish lol. The chicken is good when you get a cooked fresh but the problem is is that I have never ever not came here not one time or I didn't have to sit outside for up to 15 minutes waiting for my food to be brought out to my car. I normally don't post reviews but I am ticked off. Ordered the three piece catfish dinner, added an extra fillet and six piece shrimp only 25 mins before closing. I was charged for everything. I live about 8 mins away from this place. By the time I get home I see I am missing shrimp. I call the restaurant immediately, the guy who took my order picks up says they're closed and hangs up on me. I drive out there, get there at 1005pm and everyone is gone. Pretty sure I'm not going to get my money back. Never coming back to this place ever again. Be warned!! Check your order before leaving! read more
