2 piece catfish plate with 2 sides.

Food was excellent! Well worth the wait. Ordered two catfish plates and both were hot and fresh. A must try and I can't wait to go back for more.

Very friendly and answered any questions we had. This is our first time visiting. Omg!! This food is excellent!! The taste is exceptional!! Very flavorful and down home . The only thing I'm missing is cornbread!! The 2m sauce is good and goes well on fries also!! Yum yum!! Worth the drive from Cedar Hill. We will be back!!

Fried chicken and fried fish was fried to perfection! Sides were delicious also and like in other reviews Ms. Faith is such a sweet lady which made my visit even more worth it! I would most definitely recommend!

Garlic fries

Maybe it's because I got there close to closing but the grease needs to be changed because you can smell how burnt it is from outside! The service was top tier. But the food did NOT match. They told me 15 minute wait, it was 50. They forgot my red beans and rice. The fries lacked flavor and were soggy. I got garlic parm. Chicken 0/10. No flavor and burnt. Mac doesn't even taste like Mac. Has a sweet flavor but can't taste the cheese. No condiments or grilled onions on smash burger. MID. Shrimp was pink when she pulled out fridge so I'm going to assume they reached room temp and put back in fridge . 2/10 overall waaaay to hyped. It's unfortunate cause the ladies were so sweet.

I saw a bitter review, by someone who does not know how to say no onions. It's sad how some adults are allowed to use this app when they don't know how to order. I have tried Faiths kitchen twice, it is a filling cheat meal. You will not get the better portion getting the catfish and shrimp platter. I also recommend going there with time to kill since everything is made to order. Also if you are person who likes reheated franchise food this ain't for you. It's a touch of home cooking and whole lot of greasy pleasure

So glad I stopped by and tried this new place. The workers were very nice and the food was delish! The catfish was my favorite out of everything I got. It was seasoned well, thick and flaky with a crispy outside.

These ladies bring the ruckus to the catfish and deserve their own place. What more could you want? Buy local!

Have you ever just needed to relax after a long week of working?! This is the place…read more The Finch is a relaxing restaurant and var with amazing water views. Its located in Grand Prairie off of State Highway 161. If you go during happy hour, they have a selection of drinks and appetizers for $7 each, when regular price is at least $15 each. Ive included my receipt so you can see my first old fashioned was $7 but I missed happy hour end time - which made my same type of old fashioned $15. And by the way, this Brown Sugar Ild Fashioned is beyond delicious!! I would probably give this a 5-star rating, but the parking is so difficult and over-crowded. I highly recommend a visit.

First off, The Finch was offering brunch for Mother's Day and you did get a complimentary mimosa…read more I'll also note that I visited for Easter brunch previously, and the food was amazing, the staff was amazing, and my waitress Alicia made the experience great. At that time, brunch was around $40-$45 and I truly enjoyed myself. This time for Mother's Day, it was the exact same food, but the price jumped to about $55 per person. Everything was going well until my daughter asked for a to-go container for a slice of pie. After that, the manager, Joe, walked up to our table of eight adults and two children and literally rolled his eyes and stared us down for what felt like 10-15 minutes. I would normally give courtesy to our waiter, but instead of helping, he sat there with the manager talking negatively while we were still dining. I can't even remember his name, but he appeared very unkempt. Meanwhile, the table next to us had two girls dining, and he continuously checked on them asking if they were ready to go or needed anything else before leaving. We arrived around 1 PM and by 2 PM we were already getting death stares from management, as if we had overstayed our welcome. We were not even there for two full hours, yet the entire experience felt rushed and uncomfortable. On top of a $513 bill, we still left an $80 tip, only to feel stared down over asking for one small to-go box for pie. Also worth mentioning: there are only TWO bathroom stalls while they are serving what looked like well over 150 people during brunch service, so the wait for the restroom alone was ridiculous. The food was still good, but the hospitality completely changed my opinion of this place. Prices went up, service went down, and the atmosphere felt very unwelcoming compared to Easter brunch. I'll gladly take my money back to downtown Dallas restaurants instead.

The restaurant is in an old, lovely Victorian house that includes a boutique hotel and spa. Small dining rooms and a large outdoor patio for dining. Started with two specialty cocktail, both large but not overly strong. Began with salads. Both the beet salad and the burrata salads were tasty and large. Salmon Benedict was two pieces of filet on oversized English muffin, well prepared with side of potatoes. Crabcake Benedict was served sans muffin. Same side of potatoes. Dessert was a slice of lemoncello cake and coffee. Cake was terrific, very subtle flavors. Great place for celebratory meal.

The menu had brunch and lunch options and everything sounded so good it was hard to choose. We ended up sharing the burrata salad with grilled peaches and they split it onto two plates for us. It was SO good! We both got the salmon Benedict and I loved mine. The salmon was cooked perfectly as was the egg and the hollandaise was delish. The potatoes were typical breakfast potatoes but they were good. For my birthday they let me choose any dessert and the limoncello cake was absolutely perfect. Lemony and tart with creamy frosting, I would go back just for that!! I definitely recommend this place for brunch!
