I was traveling home to Florida and stopped in to get something good to eat so of course I yelped seafood and this spot had high ratings. Upon arrival I didn't realize it was a take-out spot only. I was as hoping to sit down for a quick meal then hit the road before too late. The lady at the register was warm in welcoming me and very pleasant throughout my visit. I was introduced to the owners which was an added bonus. If I had more time I wouldn't have mind the lengthy time it took to prepare the meal. I waited for quite some time to complete the order which only required the 5 piece lemon pepper wings. Almost an hour wait. I had to ask them to pull them so that I can eat in the car quickly then hit the road. All of the flavors were there (fish, seafood dressing and greens) but the wings needed more time in the fryer (one fryer was broken, on a Sunday, with specials going on) to get the job done. A back up plan is vital to running a business. The owners were amazing! Sweet, willing to offer additional food items as a kind gesture and just plain good people. Next time (I'm open to another visit, the food is that good), I will definitely be sure to have time and patience to see the process through. On another note... I've eaten at lobster shacks and hole-in-the wall spots serving up good food. I believe that we can do better on the decorum. At the very least the entry/waiting area should be well organized and comfortable for customers to feel good while waiting. Panels of the ceiling falling down, fans blowing, and clutter around the soda machines just won't cut it.
