I see why people love this place. Most other places were charing $1/lb. They charge .49 and will help bring your items from thr car. They weigh it in front of you to confirm and there is a camera in front of the shredder so you see them shredding your belongings. I called ahead and they confirmed no appointment was necessary. We had about 97 lbs of old paperwork to shred and are very happy with their service! read more

Shred Time - Waiting area with view of shredder - Shredding Services Near Me - Los Angeles, California

Went to Shred Time near LAX to get rid of some old documents, and the whole process was incredibly easy. From 1 to 41 pounds, it's a flat $20, with an extra fee after that, which felt very reasonable. As soon as I walked in, someone met me at the door, took my bag, and placed it on the scale right in front of me so I could see the weight. Super transparent. Then they had me watch everything being shredded live on a TV screen, which was honestly such a cool and reassuring concept. The place was clean, the staff was friendly, and I was in and out within minutes. No hassle at all. Def will be back AND will tell others! read more

This was a exceptional service. They helped move the boxes of papers into the facility from the car (much better than having to lug it into a store myself!). After weighing in the customer area, you can watch your papers being put through the machine. We went on a Sunday afternoon and there was no wait and the process was fast. read more

They make it real easy! *Shred Time Cleared the Bases* Judy & Edson couldn't have been more accommodating and friendly on GameDay. Edson came outside to our car, all smiles, and insisted to take all of our bags inside their dugout for shredding services. Solo Homerun. Judy welcomed us for attending and led the way into the office area to pay for services. She was so sweet & kind...and her infectious smile lit up the room. Solo Homerun. Shred Time charges a basic minimum rate of $20 for up to 40 pounds of paper = $0.50/lb. and anything over is $0.49/lb. Solo Homerun. Shred Time's facility/office & playing-field is very clean. They have complimentary coffee pods in the lobby. There's parking right in front. But make sure to let them know you're arrived because there's a few stairs leading to the on-deck circle...and Edson or someone else will gladly carry everything inside the stadium. Was in & out of there in no time. Highly recommended for all your shredding needs. Judy & Edson are team players, who batted 1000, with complete game...and won our hearts with a clean sweep...and a Walk-off Grandslam. Game Over. read more

I have been a happy customer of Shred Time for YEARS now, as you see from my previous reviews - but I will be looking for a new shredding company now. I scheduled their truck to come out to shred for their $120 rate for 10 bankers boxes (+$6 ea additional box). They gave me a window of 12-1pm. I called the day of service just before 12 to confirm they would be there in the next hour. Rose was trying to be helpful (the only reason for 2 stars), she said the driver would call me to give me an eta. Even though i called to check with her FIVE TIMES, I never got a call from the driver. She said they had a big job right before me so I tried to be understanding. After waiting around for them til almost an hour after my window passed, still with no call back, I called Rose to reschedule. Fast forward to my rescheduled appointment, for 10am. No window, Rose gave me a firm time, bc I had to wait for them the previous week. Shortly after 9am I called to check on their eta. Rose again said the driver would call me with an eta, & in a deja vu-y kind of experience, I received no call. I called her back as 10am was approaching & still no eta. Only after I cancelled did the driver call to say he may be able to arrive at 11am. I was not about to wait around yet again to see if they would be able to actually make that time. I am disappointed in how unreliable this service has become. It makes me sad to look for another shredding company after relying on this one for so many years. read more

Stopped by Shred Time today with an ever-growing box of paperwork, documents, etc. that had been accumulating and moving with me from a couple of different homes. Greeted immediately as I approached the open door, we moved my box of old stuff to a scale to be weighed, then dumped on to the shredding platform. I filled out my name, phone number and weight of the papers to be shredded and watched on the monitor as it disappeared from my life. This couldn't have been a simpler or more pleasant experience. Very highly recommended! read more

Anytime you're greeted with a smile makes for great customer service! I met Hannah who was very knowledgeable and big smiles! The process was super easy and we watched out things go to the shredder! While looking at the price sheet the shredding of "clothes" intrigued me as I had a bag of items for GoodWill .... it was explained that the clothing was mostly uniforms, etc. and that made a lot of sense. Besides, was not looking to destroy my items for GW. Nice to know that fact! Price was right and off we went! read more

Shred Time - Watching Shredding of our very sensitive docs. I always come here because I can watch my documents being shred. - Shredding Services Near Me - Los Angeles, California

I took about 10-years of old documents, some personal in nature that needed to be shredded, but way too much for my home shredder. Brought the pile (49 lbs worth) to Shred Time on Saturday morning...the gentleman helped me carry the documents from my car, and let me watch as he shredded them. Easy as can be. Reasonably priced also. Very glad I found this place...I'm sure they do really large jobs, but it's nice to know where you can go with smaller jobs also. read more

In the midst of moving our office down the hall, we had to dispose of the paperwork from over 5 years and despite my lack of organization for the shredding-they made the process simple and convenient . I had used them back in September, the guy who was doing it by himself was a superstar (went around a thursday morning). The price for over 80lbs of old paperwork was cheery on the top. read more

This place was great. The guy helped me take my shredding materials out of my trunk. It was very fast and inexpensive. I only had 48 pounds and it only cost me $23.52. You didn't have to have a minimum of so many boxes or so much weight or whatever that's the part I like, as long as you have $20 worth of shredding to do they'll do it. Papers are 49 cents per pound. read more

What a great experience. The place is very conveniently located, just south of Century Blvd. off La Cienega. I only needed 2 boxes of old tax papers shredded and the way I was treated, you'd think I'd brought 100 boxes. A guy came out to my car, took the boxes inside, weighed them in front of my eyes and then took them through a nearby door while I watched everything being shredded on a TV monitor. The staff could not have been kinder or more helpful, the whole thing cost just over 25 bucks and I was in & out in less than 10 minutes. Couldn't be happier with the whole deal. read more

We were in LA this last weekend to clean out my deceased father-in-laws documents. I contacted Shred Time and the person that answered the phone was very professional and helpful. When we showed up with our first load last Saturday Edwin and another gentleman took great care of us. On Sunday we took our second load and Edwin again was fantastic. In addition, the pricing was affordable and fair. We truly appreciate the positive experience as this was the final phase of wrapping up my father-in-laws estate.
