There's a reason that DRM has so many 5 star reviews. After an email exchange with the owner, I brought my boxes of paperwork to be shredded to DRM. Although I didn't officially make an appointment, I knocked on the door and was greeted by a worker who knew my name and offered assistance taking my boxes inside. My experience today with DRM was perfect, and I echo the comments made by many other reviewers. I got quotes from other places, and DRM came out the lowest. I made an appointment, and took my boxes. I wanted to watch them being shredded (which costs a bit more), and the job was finished very quickly. Sorry, I have to vent my frustration with this company, I hope this helps someone else. And I never, ever leave bad reviews but this is very disappointing. I picked these guys because of their good yelp reviews. I scheduled an onsite shredding job with them about 10 days ago. When I called they gave me a three hour window for today, Thursday, November 21st, 2024, between 11-2 PM. I called them at 9 AM this morning just to make sure and the lady answering the call confirmed our appointment. I asked her if the driver could give me a call when he is on his way and she was very short and said 'no, not possible, have a nice day'. It is now 3:30 PM and no one has shown up. I left two messages, the same lady called me back at around 2:20 PM and said 'they will be there shortly'. Again, she was very short, no apologies and no further details. I called again and keep getting their voice mail and then I tried to email and it bounced back. Not sure what is up with this company. We all understand that things happen, all they had to do is let me know they couldn't make it. It is now 3:40 PM and still no one has called nor showed up. read more

DRM is a great place to take documents for shredding. The people who helped me were both very nice and friendly. It was easy to unload the boxes with car side cart help. The price was good. I was impressed with how clean this place was. The shop is located behind the storefront businesses on Canoga. Make sure you go into the right driveway entrance and use the access on side of building to the back. You will see the DRM trucks where shop door is. I am so consistent that I have had the same bank account number for decades, so shredding is the only option. A new friend raved about DRM, so all my investigation was trashed, as word of mouth is priceless compared to the Internet! She was right! The company answered all my questions and I made a reservation. Rather than have a truck come to my home, I drove a short distance to an easy-to-find location. I spoke with a representative for only a short while, then an Associate came out to my car and piled the boxes (11 of them) onto his dolly. They were so informative and nice then added, for a nominal fee, I could watch my documents being shredded or just leave, knowing the information would be properly taken care of immediately! They both were so wonderful and made this horrible task so easy, I can't praise this company enough! Great prices and perfect customer service! My neighbor recently followed my footsteps and now he too can't get the word out fast enough about DRM.
