My first time to the shred center in Concord this wknd! I took a recycle bag pretty full then a good sized box. The price for the recycling bag was 23.00 and I almost choked! I thought shredding paper in seconds was much cheaper. So I said let me take out the junk mail since I can just scratch my name off, I really wanted confidentiality taken care of which cost 15.00. Also for future reference I asked about pricing. So basically a small box that they have in their location is ruffly 20.00 but it can't go over the top. I took mostly all my papers back home but got some of the more important stuff I wanted shredded gone. I still gave them a 5 star because the man there and older lady were extremely polite and gave good information. read more

The service: two employees helped me out and were very helpful and friendly! The location: right across from the Concord Costco. Get your cheap gas and hotdogs afterwards! The hours: shredding is from 10 AM to 3 PM The price: very reasonable! The deets: Shredding my documents here was a pretty seamless experience. I came in with my box of docs, one of the employees measured the dimensions of the box (no weighing), gave me a quote, watched him feed my docs into the shredder, I paid, and left. Great place to take your personal documents to shred and reasonable price! I've brought 5 grocery bags of paper to shred and it was less than $30. Also, they'll shred a couple of documents for you if you need and don't have that much. It might be a dollar or something for that, but worth it if you really can't throw it in the recycling. You get to watch them shred- they never look at the contents of your paper, they just feed it through the shredding machine. z read more

Awesome place to shred your junk mail/documents. The prices are very reasonable here. Brought in a few piles of stuff to shred and it was only few bucks. Basically if you get a bankers box and flip it vertically. They put your pile up to the box and charge by cubic inch. Staff are always nice/friendly. Plenty of parking. read more

Walked in on a Saturday, the guy measured my box, gave me the price and $16 for a box a little larger than a banker box. I must say, the best $16 I've ever spent. If I had to sit in my house and shred paper after paper I would have been upset. The process was so easy and quick , barely spent 10mins in there! I would definitely come here again. SUMMARY: Needed to shred a couple pounds of legal documents and old tax returns. Came to this place right across the street from Costco. The people there were very respectful and courteous. I noticed the owner had signs around the shop that aligned with how I feel about this God forsaken state and their tax everyone til they're dead policies. Last weekend, I culled through 15 years of records and documents and produced three boxes of papers. Feeding them through my personal shredder would have taken days. I had the need for shredding...and you can not believe how hard it is to find a place to do a "home" sized job.... Yes, I had at least 5' vertical feet of legal documents...but no where to take them! I found the Shred Center online...and the owner was very helpful. It ran $5.00 a shopping bag. Hubby and I loaded up the car with many shopping bags full of legalese...and headed out. The young man on duty was great...he even put up with hubby's bad jokes about Fargo. We got to watch as my mess went away!!! Much paper is now gone....YEA!!! read more

Seven boxes (10 years worth) of paperwork shredded in about 10 minutes. The lady that works at this place is focused on what she's doing that she didn't notice me come in for about 5 minutes. She was friendly and super nice so it was totally OK. I had a lot of sensitive documents (tax, work etc) that I needed shredded and I wanted to ensure my confidentiality. I called Shred It but they said I can only watch my documents shredded between 3-5 PM which was when their trucks were at the depot area. At this place, they have a huge shredded with took care of business fairly quickly. The price was reasonable too...$10 a box. Based on the reviews we thought this would be a great place. My son and I walked in with two boxes, there was a man and woman in front of us with 3 boxes he'd placed on the counter. The woman behind the counter was absolutely rude and miserable. She told the man to get the boxes off the counter, when he placed the boxes on a Dollie she then shoved the Dollie into the man because she felt it was in her way. The woman obviously did not want to be there and moved so slowly that we left. read more

I took four boxes of documents to be shredded here yesterday. Their location is convenient...they're right across the street from the main entrance to the Concord Costco. I parked right in front. They have a cart that I borrowed to haul my four boxes in, which I did. I was given the estimate of $40, and told them to proceed. I paid and was able to watch the documents be shredded on the spot. Their pricing is $10 per bankers box (or the equivalent), which is slightly pricey but well worth the convenience and the piece of mind. One last note: Mention has been made of the woman who works there. She helped me yesterday. People should give her a break. That's all I'll say. read more

I must have gotten their disgruntled employee, because the woman working today was NOT friendly like all the reviews say. More like surly, rude, and clearly didn't want to be there. She talked on the phone for a long time after I walked in, while the line got longer, and then took her time with payments, measuring box sizes, and actually running the machine. Today I went to the Shred Center. At first I was frustrated that they couldn't shred my private documents due to a mechanical issue with their equipment. I left frustrated as I would have to keep the documents in my car at work until midnight when I returned home. The parking garage at my work place has had several break ins and I was very nervous about leaving it in my car. So I drove away but did call them back to leave a message as to my dilemma. I received a call back telling me they were fixing it and they would call me back within 15 mins. They did fix their equipment, call me and were able to provide the service. All shredded in front of me immediately. When I went to pay the owner wouldn't take the $ due to the inconvenience of having to return. So I give them 5 stars! Only thing I would do different next time is to call first to check that all was well with the equipment. read more

The workers I know of are great, they should just enforce the mask mandate more because there was a worker not wearing a one. It made my mom uncomfortable and it would be safer for the customers and workers if masks were heavily enforced as they should be. read more
