Fantastic service. I had a a headphone pin broken inside my auxiliary jack. Its 2007 Toyota Yaris, so just a basic commuter car and I didn't want to buy a radio just so i could listen to my iPhone. Eric looked at it and within 5 minutes he had replaced it and I was out the door. Because I parked behind the shop I got to walk through the garage and past all the cars they were working on. Really nice work. I highly recommend them. read more

I think Showtime Audio is in the "super class" of service providers. Jerry and his team are professionals set at maximum service. They installed dash cam equipment and other mobile accessories on my Expedition. I am super happy with the results. From planning, to scheduling, to intake, to workflow, promised delivery schedule, and operational briefing and Q&A at pickup time...ABSOLUTE PERFECTION across the board. I would 100% recommend this shop to my friends. read more

WOW! what a wonderful experience. I had a remote starter installed in my RAV4, 2010 from this place. it was a very smooth transaction. Very neat and clean work, I wonder where they install that equipment as I don't see anything except a small tiny piece behind the mirror, NO massy wiring at all. Besides the excellent job they have very impressive costumer service, the counter girl RUTH (I hope spelling her name right) she is such a nice person, she took me in without appointment which is there a very positive point as I m not a appointment making kind of person. she went through all the available options for my car and quote me a really good price. After the work done owner taught me how to use the remote as this is my first time ever using the car remote starter.I would highly recommend this place for your next remote starter or any other custom audio work. read more

I can't say enough good things about showtime audio. I went there about 5 years ago to get a sound system and remote start installed. Even though they work with high end clients, they treated my project with the same level of focus and quality. Jerry and his team are honest and do showroom quality work. I came back this past month to get something adjusted and they treated me with the same level of professionalism as my first visit. I have referred friends and family there and will continue to do so. Jerry - Never let the customer service and honesty diminish. That is why you are the best! read more

Couldn't recommend enough. Friendly and fast service, everything was explained upfront throughly. Didn't try to pressure me into taking the more expensive tint--truly just wanted to see me happy. Price is beyond fair for their exceptional quality of work. My tint is guaranteed for life which is another reason I know I made the right choice. The dash cam they installed is holding up nicely as well. read more

I had Showtime Audio install a new head unit in my 2004 Audi S4. I also requested that they route the microphone through the headliner to the factory location, and hardwire my dashcam while they were at it. This is surely more work than a standard head unit install but they were totally receptive to what I wanted to have done. I had an idea for where I wanted the iPhone cable to come out for Carplay, and when the car was in the shop they texted some other ideas they had which turned out way better than what I initially wanted. I even mentioned that I had a rear badge for the car (that the previous owner removed) that I didn't trust myself to put on, and they installed it on the spot free of charge. Really can't recommend this place enough, the install turned out even better than expected and I'll definitely be back for my next project. read more

I found Showtime Audio, here, on Yelp. I was impressed by all of the great reviews. I took my 2015 Grand Cherokee in to have DVDs installed in the headrests, as well as Video In Motion installed via my 8.4inch dash monitor. Jerry was OUTSTANDING! His customer service is unmatched! Everyone in the shop was extra helpful and always courteous. I can't wait to go back to Jerry and the crew for my next installation! read more

I brought a Toyota Prius here to have some work completed. The shop is clean & there's a comfortable waiting room. I found Jerry to be both personable & professional. I highly recommend Showtime. read more

Having worked for a company that regularly had their cars serviced by Showtime, and now having my personal car done there I can whole wholeheartedly say this is a special place. It is rare in Chicago that you get a very professional and proficient service while being treated like family. Jerry and the team have accomplished just that. I am very happy I found this place. read more

Jerry is the best I ever met in customized car fittings. He has the best attitude towards workman ship. He is just a great person to work with. Always a pleasure to come back as a customer again and again for our fleet. read more

I haven't posted a review on Yelp in a very long time which is why this is so important for me to give you this information about how friggin' awesome this place is. I have an old BMW that has outdated tech in the cabin. It was driving me crazy because I can't stand listening to B96/Q101/WGCI over and over when those stations suck to begin with. Did a little research online and found an adapter for my car to add basic Bluetooth functionality. Brought it over to these guys. Jerry was such a sweetheart!! Oh my god... the other place I went to treated me like I was a moron and instead of explaining to me, spoke down to me. Not this place. I was treated with total respect and kindness, even taking the time to explain my options to me. They did the work, very reasonably priced, and I left the shop with a big old grin on my face. :) My old Beemer finally joined the having more functional audio era and I was a happy camper. I'm seriously considering after I take care of some more mechanical things with my car to bring it back here and update the radio completely since they won my trust in this visit. I cannot say enough good things about Jerry and his crew. This is how you run a small business and this is how you treat customers. I will use them again in the future and push them on all my friends. read more

I have dealt with several car customization places for my cars and no doubt Showtime Audio is the top. Jerry and his team are amazing. They worked on my 2009 MB C63 by putting in a Viper Smart start, undercarriage puddle lights, retractable front plate, rear view camera, and integrated motion detector interior/exterior cameras with a backup batteries. They integrated the whole thing into my car so you can barely see them. Very professional work, great prices, short turnover time, and honest. Jerry's passion to his work is obvious when you discuss what you want. I just dropped off my 2015 Jeep Cherokee SRT to them for front tinting, WiFi interior/exterior security motion detector security cameras with integrated back up battery, Viper aftermarket security plus GPS smart start, HID LED interior bulb changes, and undercarriage LED bright white lights. I can't wait!! read more

This is not a review about their audio service, but their customer service. I called because I have a complicated factory installed radio system (all the bells and whistles you could get when the car was purchased). Even though Showtime Audio doesn't repair car radios they were able to give me a referral to someone who does. Thank you so much! read more

Consider this the midwests version of West Coast Customs. These guys have decades of experience and deal with Ford Tempos (literally) to Lambos. I recently got a new alarm/remote start for a lot better deal than bestbuy quoted.(no unexpected costs or "extra parts needed") They are great people to do business with, ask for Jerry, Nydia or Turtle. They even dropped me home and picked me back up while they were working on my ride! They did a perfect install and showed me how to use all the features. NO BS here, they were professional, straight forward, and everyone should check this place out if they need custom audio or any mobile installs. Screw the Geek Squad read more

I had a rough time at first with Showtime, with my newly installed stereo causing battery issues with my vehicle. However Jerry and the crew were total pros about it -- they even went so far as to pay for my Uber rides while my car was out of commission. I will be back for sure, you don't get this type of service at Best Buy. read more

It took a few attempts to get some early problems solved .. issues with the amp they installed shutting off likely caused by a weak battery. Ultimately I'm very happy with the results, the system sounds amazing and the install job looks extremely professional. Thank you to Jerry and his team for being accommodating and answering all my questions. Jerry clearly loves what he does and this shows in the quality of the work. I won't hesitate to call them back for future car audio needs. read more

After my stereo was damaged during a break-in, I needed some basic repair work done to my auxiliary jack. I found Showtime on Yelp, and went there based on all of the positive feedback. Not only were they extremely affordable and very fast, the owner (Jerry) and staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. If they were that accommodating for an admittedly small repair job, I can only imagine what great service they would provide for a bigger installation. An enthusiastic 5 stars! read more

I'll keep this short and simple since most of the other reviews on here will reflect the 5 star rating they deserve. I recently purchased a 1976 corvette stingray that had a nearly destroyed radio and speaker system. I sent an email asking if they were able to install a blue tooth system and upgrade the speakers yet keep the look and feel of a vintage car. The next day I got an email response back and a few days later I had EXACTLY what I wanted. With most reviews I tend to look at the customer service. I'm sure there are other shops in Chicago who could have done the same exact job, but the folks over at Showtime Audio are NICE. And they take the time to show you your new toy. I never felt like I was getting rushed out of there or that I was in their way to a 5:00PM clock whistle. read more

Showtime is the best. Jerry is professional, knowledgeable and reasonable. There are few people that I trust with my car and I am now at the point where I ask Jerry's thoughts on any car audio purchases I make. If you love your car, go to Showtime. You'll never go anywhere else. read more

I recently took my 2012 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited in for an upgrade for the audio system. Jerry and his wife are awesome! They work so well together and with you to make sure you are nothing but satisfied. I have a pair or coax speakers, two pairs of component speakers, four subs, four amplifiers, customer sub box, and cut off switch installed. It sounds literally amazing! So loud it'll hurt your ears but it keeps the quality of the sound all the way up to max volume. And the way they got everything working was so great. Can't recommend them enough. I'm going to go back soon and have additional work done. There's no other place that I'd take my Jeep! read more

When I bought the car of my dreams, it was only missing one thing: a hard-wired iPod adapter. I went online and was able to buy the parts for it, but it required a lot of technical work for the install that involved removing parts of the dashboard and re-routing wires and stereo hook-ups. I didn't want to attempt this on my own, so I went looking for professionals. It took a long time for me to find Showtime Audio, but I'm so glad I did. These guys are very good at what they do, and they are also pretty quick and affordable at the same time. They can do really high-end, custom jobs like you see in shows like "Pimp My Ride," and they also will be happy to do regular equipment installs like they did for me. They were able to install everything and have it back to me within a few hours...and it all works great. If I ever have any automotive electronics needs again, these guys are going to be on the top of my list. Addendum Note: I have received several inquiries to my review, asking me where I bought the iPod car adapter. Go to the "Grom Audio" website and enter in your make and model of car, and select the type of adapter you want (iPod, iPhone, etc.). read more

They recently tinted the windows in my 1985 Landcruiser and did a fantastic job. To keep it short and simple, I would recommend and plan on taking my wife's new Sequoia there later, this week. read more

Round 2 of having a system put into my new car. This is the second system that Jerry and the boys at Showtime have installed for me. As always, these guys are patient and take the time to explain the various aspects of a system to someone that may not know the intricacies of a stereo system. And, if anything isn't just right, he makes sure to make it right. I bought some of my components on the after-market and brought them in and he didn't mind installing parts he didn't sell me - even though he was honest with me about some of my purchases wouldn't fit or be right for the system we scoped. Going back to make a few tweaks to the sound by adding some more speakers. But once again, have to give them a great review. Not the cheapest installers around, but once again why go cheap on someone that will tearing apart your car to install a system? read more

Had a secondary amp installed in my vehicle. The guys are friendly, courteous, and very professional. Was in and out on no time. Jerry and Donna(?) are great people, excellent customer service. They tackled a job that other places did not want to touch. Only issue, no fault of their own, was that the harness I provided for the install has some output problems so I will see if Jerry and his team can resolve the issue. read more

I was interested in a Viper remote starter, and was contemplating going to Best Buy to have them install it since they offered the best price. But I was wary on going to Best Buy since I've heard a lot of horror stories with their car electronics department. So I stumbled upon Showtime Audio via Viper's website, and Jerry told me he could match the price Best Buy offered. So, to Showtime I went.... When I got there, they said the model I requested was not available, but he offered a better model with the security alarm feature for just another $50. In total, I paid much less for this product (installed) then I could find anywhere else. It works great, and Jerry was able to answer all of my questions. He and his staff were very helpful and courteous. Cons: process took 4 hours (but I guess it would anywhere else), and I have to go back to get the trunk release module installed - they didn't have that particular part in stock for my 2010 Mazda3. read more

I chose Showtime based on the amazing Yelp reviews. I had front windows tinted as well as a 2 channel dashcam (from and back) on my new Tesla Model X. Jerry and the team were awesome and went above and beyond. They advised me of all options, made recommendations, and installed everything flawlessly. We had one hardware hiccup (rear camera not working), so Jerry offered that I not pay for the dashcam until a replacement arrived, even though the front was working just fine. Unit arrived in a few days and they fit me in for a quick replacement. I will gladly use Showtime for all my auto upgrades in the future. read more

Showtime Audio is the best in what they do! Trust no other. Their customer service is the best I have seen for any business in Chicago.

This place is the best. Jerry and the team are extremely honest and really care that your work gets done correctly. They treat each car as if it were their own and the work always looks perfect. Also Jerry is extremely fair with his pricing and you can really trust him that you won't be cheated. I very strongly recommend Showtime Audio! read more

Technically this is my first review and I am so happy to give my first 100% for the showtime audio people. Great service and nice installation. No unnecessary drama at all from the start to the end. Jerry and his people went through what they have done for my truck and I am really pleased with their work. In short, come to this place if you want to treat your car with great audio improvement. read more

ALL THE 5 STAR REVIEWS ARE TRUE. This was maybe the best overall customer service I've received in any situation in my LIFE. Everyone I spoke to (Jerry the owner, one of his technicians, the girl behind the desk and even the girl sweeping the floor) were incredibly polite, friendly, respectful, professional, knowledgeable, even funny!. I was having a CD player installed in a car that didn't have one..... so this was not a glamorous 9 speaker system with a subwoofer and ultra violet lights.... but Jerry treated me like a VIP customer. He did a FABULOUS job - he had to drill a very small hole in the console to run a cable, and it is so neat - what an incredible piece of work. then there was the price: $300 all in. that was for a $120 CD player and about 2hr 15m manual labor. For me, that is extremely reasonable, as this was highly technical work (I have a new Jeep and it's extremely well sealed up underneath the dashboard - heck knows how he did what he did). Ok, enough from me - just GO THERE. Don't be intimidated if you just need a small job like mine done either - just GO :-) read more

The most cool shop to visit. Great work, very clean finish and reasonably priced. I was surprised Jerry remembered my name when I went back for a second visit. Or maybe it is my car that he remembered! Loved the shop - took my son to show him around. read more

I've found my vehicle audio guys for as long as I'm in Chicago! I went in and spoke to Jerry about CarPlay-enabled stereos and he helped me figure out what I wanted in terms of the stereo and what I didn't need, and what would fit in my car (a 2008 Pontiac Torrent). From there we scheduled the installation, I brought my car in, and it was ready that day. I noticed a small problem with the installation that required bringing the car back twice (had to call customer support for a few of the parts), and at every step of the way Jerry and his team were incredibly helpful. We got everything sorted out after the second re-visit and now things are working perfectly. Jerry and the team at Showtime are incredible; accommodating, knowledgeable, professional, and easy to work with. If I have any more car audio projects, I'm coming here first, no questions asked. read more

Holy cow this place is a gem. The staff here...especially Jerry and "Turtle" really make an effort to connect with customers and deliver an exceptional result. They are passionate about cars and what they do. I want to come work here and quit my day job. read more

I love to visit a business where the owner is truly passionate about what he does. I met Jerry yesterday and was blown away by his passion and willingness to help. I had my windows tinted on my mercedes, but the front was off a bit from the rear. He used the tint gun to see how far off they were and was willing to do research to see if the right % tint even existed. He exudes knowledge and passion and I will definitely take all my cars here moving forward. Keep up the amazing work. read more

Let me start by saying that this shop is fantastic. They are incredibly professional and did a great job with my tint and an LED install. The staff is very friendly and went out of their way to make sure I was comfortable as well as explain what work was done. The waiting are was very comfortable with wifi and even a nice desk where I could continue to work remotely. I'd highly recommend this shop and will definitely be coming back read more

Quality work. Trustworthy and reliable. I have taken two of my cars there for stereo work on the one and alarm work on the other. In one case, they could have done a more expensive job, but recommended an alternative that was less pricey. Definitely go there. read more

Would recommend this place to everyone!!! For all you ladies out there, its a very women friendly place you wont get ripped off because of your gender. I had a sub woofer installed in my car and must say very impressed. The whole thing was installed real clean. Cant see any wires anywhere. Since it had only 5 star reviews I had to give them a try, since i really wanted a sub in my car. The price for the install was decent. they said that the install would take 2 or 2.5 hours but it took more. But that's OK definitely worth waiting especially since the price was great. The people that work there are awesome also. Will answer your questions and if you need a suggestion they will help you out. They also have a waiting room, where you can watch some movies if you stay and wait for your stuff to be installed. read more

Showtime Audio was such a friendly place to get my remote starter installed. The owner personally installed it and the staff at the location was so friendly. They were fast and accurate on the time they said it would take. I always hate going to places that say 2 hours and then really it was 4 hours. So they said 2 1/2 hours and it was done and ready to go. Thanks for such great service!!!! read more
