I had car alarm and a bluetooth radio installed and everything went perfectly! Jerry and his team did an amazing job at a reasonable price and I strongly recommend them. read more

I cannot say enough good things about show time audio and their team. I had an after market rear view camera installed on my Audi Q5. The team was able to take care of me quickly and efficiently with great customer service and impeccable installation skills. I know first hand that audis are not the easiest cars to work on. I was turned away from a couple of other car audio installation establishments. I will go back for any and all electrical work on my cars in the future. read more

I was looking for a place to add a subwoofer & amp and selected Showtime Audio. I made this decision based on fellow Yelp'ers ratings. I give this place 5 stars because the staff was very friendly & down to earth and i am more than happy with my system. Keep up the good work!!! read more

This is the best custom shop in Chicago. I've know the owner for many years and he does the best quality work around. Anything you can think of he will do and do even further. I send all my friends and family to him without a doubt in mind. He also has a great staff that always greet you with a smile. read more

I can not rave more about this place. We were having issues with our Omega remote car starter, which was installed last year by a business that no longer exists. I called numerous places to find out if someone would take a look at it and a lot of places refused, saying that the Omega car starter is such an old system that no one even knows how to repair it. Their offer was to look at it, but I'd have to pay $50 per half hour just to look at it. Then I called Showtime Audio. They had no issue with the fact that I had an older remote start and even offered that they would look at it for the first 30 minutes at no charge. Then we agreed if he couldn't repair the system that I would pay $200 to get a brand new system installed. THIS is where it becomes unreal: they came to my house to pick up the car as scheduled, found the problem, FIXED it and refused to take any payment. I didn't think good businesses like this still existed! If it were any other business, they could have told us that our old system was unrepairable and charged us $200! I can not speak more highly of this place - the owner is an unbelievable man. You could not be in better hands! read more

This place is great!!! The owner really took care of us, he didn't try to up sell us on stuff we didn't want but instead just did the job for the best possible price. i have a limo and it is very annoying to most shop owners because it takes up so much space but jerry made sure the job was done right and even kept it in his garage over night. I WILL BE BACK FOR A REMOTE START AND GPS!!!! read more

Excellent attention to detail. Showtime Audio did a very clean, well-hidden install of front and rear dash cams on my newer model Audi A3. And the price was very reasonable. What differentiates Jerry and his team is the attention to detail. He spent a lot of time with me upfront explaining options over the phone, he spent time helping me compare the video of two different models, he spent a lot of time on initial placement, and then he let me verify final placement when I picked up the car. I was very pleased with the whole process, and I plan to return with my classic car for some custom stereo work. read more

I'll make this short and simple. Jerry was very helpful and professional from the moment we made contact with him. I brought in my car to get a car radio installed. Did an awesome job with the installation. I was so pleased that I decided to go back and get my remote starter installed. He gave me a good deal on both installs. Very pleased with the customer service. Couldn't have asked for a better experience. read more

I have had these guys work on 2 of my Jeeps over a short period of time. Cant say enough about professionalism and quality of work. Jerry the owner is very friendly, accommodating and transparent. Alex installer does great job. read more

Need something installed professionally, quickly, & with excellent attention to detail? This is it. I CALLED FROM CALIFORNIA to setup a same-day alarm & stereo installation, & these folks knocked it out of the park. Stereo is excellent & alarm sensitivity was set just right, it's effective but not annoyingly sensitive. read more

Jerry and crew are amazing! They are so flexible and friendly, the after sale support and help second to none. I highly recommend them for any installation project. read more

I had a remote starter installed here and the services was TOP NOTCH. When there was issues with the install the owner personally called me to explain. They were able to install it this year and were accommodating and had A+ Customer Services. And when it suddenly stopped working last week he told me to stop on by any time and they would reset it. All of the staff always went out of their way to help me. Thanks Showtime!! read more

Honest professional and very competent shop. They installed an auto dimming mirror with a built in garage door opener in my vehicle. It looks completely factory. The mirror that I provided wasn't exactly a perfect fit, but they were able to fabricate some trim which made everything look completely stock. Excellent work. Highly recommended. read more

Showtime Audio is the best in the business. I was referred to Jerry and his team in 2010 after having bad experiences at other car audio installation shops. They did an install on my first vehicle and I was hooked. I recently had a second install done and will go nowhere else. It's nice to see girl power in a male dominated field. Thanks Ruth and Nydia for always being attentive and knowing your stuff. You will not find a better shop to have all of your car installation desires met. Customer service ranks high in my book and Showtime Audio has it down to a science. Thank you Jerry and team for always doing a fantastic job. You will not be disappointed. read more

I needed a keyless remote programmed for my car. I called and the woman on the phone was super friendly. I spoke to Jerry and he said it would only take 15 minutes and that I could come by that same afternoon. Everyone at the shop is so helpful and friendly; they are amazing. I was in and out in 15 minutes and they even have a very nice and comfortable waiting room! Thanks Jerry!!! read more

My review for Team Jerry and Showtime audio has been long overdue. This place rocks! Run by very passionate Jerry, they get you what you want at an affordable price. I had the factory radio replaced on my 08 Passat with a double din head unit. They also installed bluetooth and a back up camera. Very neat work. Thanks Jerry! read more

Had my car stolen on Sunday. Called Showtime The following Monday in a panic to get an alarm on my other car. Jerry was very sympathetic, answered all my questions and was just a great guy to talk to. Came in the next day and spoke to Ruth. Ruth instantly became my friend. Kind, sweet and she knows her stuff! She made sure I got the best deal and was considerate of my budget. The installers were great. Mike walked me through the ins and outs of the new system and was a pleasure to speak to. I felt like I was speaking to old neighborhood friends. If I recover my car or have to get a new one, there is no other place I'm going to. This place is the best. Thank you guys! read more

I'm a bit delayed in posting this, but the Showtime team (Jerry especially) is AMAZING. They installed a custom Focal Audio system in my 2014 Lexus CT200h with subs (and a custom-built sub case). VERY clean install and sounds amazing. Highly recommend! read more

Stop reading. Go here now.! This place simply is the best. Best advice, best installation, great price and ultimate customer service. I can't say enough about the attention to detail and the friendly and expert service. I had a new "smart" car stereo with every imaginable feature installed in my new pickup truck, including rear view camera and video. And Apple Car Play. All was flawless. The owner walked me through all of it and made sure I was pleased with every detail. 10 out of 10. read more

Phenomenal customer service and high quality work. Took my car here about 2 weeks ago for window tinting and couldn't be more impressed. The sales staff is refreshingly knowledgeable and professional. The owner, Jimmy, personally answered all my questions at length about the different tints and all the levels of legality depending on the level/combo of tint, state/city laws, etc. When I asked about another product on display he had one of the mechanics bring their own car around so he could show me an example of it installed. The tint install turned out perfect and the quality is top-notch. Highly recommend this place. A+ read more

Okay Jerry is going to laugh when he sees this because we are like brothers or cell mates at this point. I have an Audi Q7 that is old (2009) and the stereo went on the fritz. The dealer wanted nearly 3k to fix the stereo on a car with more than 100k miles. No way. I had used Jerry's shop before for a simple installation and figured he'd be a great alternative to the dealer. He sat with me to discuss options and we decided to find a used/refurbished amp. Fast forward, it took probably five or six amps to get it right, none of Jerry's fault. I can tell you, Jerry and his team made ZERO money off me, net of time spent. Yet he could not have been more positive in his interactions. Honestly, if I owned the business I would have said "sayanora" to me after the 2nd amp but Jerry is more professional than I am lol. It truly became him wanting to solve the issue, damn the cost or time. He was relentless and yet always so friendly and professional to both me and my wife. I cannot say enough positive things about these guys at Showtime. Would bring any business I have back here although Jerry may not want me ! read more

One of the most professional and quality installation I've ever had on my BMW. Everyone from the front desk staff, to the installer, and even the owner was beyond helpful, knowledgeable about their products, and they stand completely behind what they sell. I play the drums at times and I am extremely picky with the sound quality in the music I listen to. I was very specific in the type of subs, amp, and sound I wanted on my car and they took their time to show me the different types of products they offer. They were honest, patient, extremely helpful in showing me the different types of sounds, and even brought a few things they had in the back just to show me the different types of sounds. I ended up getting the 600wt 12in Alpine R-type with Alpine amps, custom fit to the back of my car, custom fit box facing forward with a custom grill and there is absolutely no rattles. It was tight on space in the trunk and they made it fit like a glove without compromising too much space or sound. The sound quality was exactly what I was looking for and on point. There's a reason why most of the dealerships in the area goes to this place for their custom work. This place really impressed me with their amazing customer service and quality craftsmanship. It was well worth the time and money. I would not go anywhere else with my custom work. They have earned my business for years to come! read more

First off, I tried calling Showtime Audio, not once but 4-5 times, but each time I called. I hear the phone ring and the line will simply disconnect. However, between the 4-5 times that I did try calling Showtime Audio, I did hear someone pick-up the phone laughing with someone and simply hang up the phone. This time, waited a few minutes later, thinking it was just a fluke (based on people reviews on Showtime Audio on yelp) and rechecking the phone number (I have a LCD display on my phone that shows the number being dialed) to be that I am dialing the right number, but it was the same thing over again, phone get disconnected, and I can tell that someone is intentionally lifting the handset and disconnecting the line. However, I did managed to get hold a receptionist on the phone, and she was quite helpful, asking what I want etc., and she promised to call me back 10 minutes later after doing a research on my request. I waited about over 10 minutes, another 15 minutes, no call, not even a return phone for following day (I have Caller ID service, plus backup ID phone tracking). I am guessing, if I received such service as this upfront. I am afraid to find out what service I will receive when I do purchase services from Showtime Audio. I am guessing they do not want my business, and I am now looking elsewhere. Simply, Showtime Audio might work well with some folks (maybe if one visit the store firsthand, instead of by phone), but this first impression by phone leave a bad impression for me about the people who work for Showtime Audio read more

I went here based upon the great Yelp ratings and info. I was not disappointed. I had recently purchased a used vehicle with a Viper alarm that was not functioning. The quickly identified the issue reset the remote and sent me on my way. In a era of declining customer service Jerry and his staff are doing it right! read more

Jerry, Turtle and team are the best in the business! I called around to many shops to find out a kenwood touch screen wouldn't "fit" in my lexus hybrid and that it couldn't be done. Went to Jerry and they custom installed it for a very reasonable price. They also added front and rear cameras. Looks like factory installed. I get tons of compliments. I then bought a '72 VW bus to turn into a football tailgating machine. They totally customized the interior. In dash flat screen, alpine speakers, flip down screen in center and 32" led flat screen in the rear. It's all wired to a satellite dish for live tv! They put in custom seats with college logo sewn in and finished with new door panels and carpet. It's unbelievable. Everybody freaks out when I pull into tailgates. I get crowds that watch the game while I go into stadium. They are the best. Look no further no matter how big or small of a project you have. To top it off they are reasonably priced. Now I'm looking for something to buy that they can customize! read more

Well, I feel honored to be the 42nd five star review in a row. These guys deserve a million stars. Let's just forget about the actual product they deliver for a moment and focus on the customer service and overall vibes at the place: Perhaps the most enjoyable, relaxed, and professionally run business I have ever encountered. Jerry and his team are absurdly friendly, helpful, and are not pushing anything on you. Being the sound obsessed guy I am, I came to Jerry maybe 2 months before I even GOT my new car. Then, it was about another month of me going back and forth between options before we even ordered the stuff. The WHOLE time Jerry was super patient and extremely informative about the decisions I was to make. When I backed out of half of the deal with little notice, Jerry was completely understanding and didn't flinch, he just started to figure out what would work best with my new budget. Now to the product: Sounds amazing. Just drove out of the shop with new front speakers, processor, sub, and amp. My last ride had premium sound and I have been in cars with some killer systems but my new one is truly one of a kind. I am so, so happy. It is most definitely pumping in there! I realized through this experience that I'm actually far more invested in the sound system of my car than the actual car and the way it drives!!! If you want to make your music come alive then you have to go to Showtime Audio. It has gotta be the best around. Thanks again Showtime!!! read more

I used the Yelp reviews as the basis for selecting Showtime. I am glad I did. Jerry and his team did a very nice job for me replacing a car stereo in my older model car. They did a nice, clean and thorough job. Everything worked and continues to work with out a hitch. I also found Jerry to be an extremely personable guy who was easy to talk to and get information from. The work was done in March. I brought my second car to him, a Subaru, this month. but I knew was going to be a difficult install. I messed up and did not bring the right install kit. Becuase of the car being an older model Subaru, locating the right dashboard kit was near impossible. Jerry scoured the city and couldn't find one. He finally tracked one down but it would have to be shipped from Japan. We decided to go to plan B. I decide to purchase a Parrot blue tooth instead. I have scheduled the installation for next week. Jerry didn't charge me for the time he spent on the Subaru even though I offered to pay for his labor. That is what I call great customer service. He's made me a customer for life. Showtime definitely earned 5 starts for me and I will recommend them to any one that asks. read more

Six stars if I could. I first popped into showtime based on reviews on Yelp to have new speakers put in my BMW. Jerry knocked it out and even hung a sub I had lying around in my trunk, cutting a port behind the rear armrest. Great. Any stereo guy can do that. Where this place differs is that if you ask for the owner, he is on the phone within 45 seconds, or he calls you right back. Recently I found out I was moving, and I picked up a new Jeep for the trip. I had 6 days to be out of town. The day after I got the Jeep I called and made an appointment for the next day. I have made appointments before and completely blown them off, but this time I was there at 10 am. Even though they were booked solid, (There was a lime green 2014 Aventador roadster there, along with the coolest SmartCar ever) Jerry the owner knew I was on a tight timeline and he personally set my car up himself, while still helping other installers, fielding calls, and generally being a good guy. If you like having a nice stereo in your car, and don't appreciate a bunch of runaround and salesmanship, do yourself a favor and go see these guys. That's the only free advice I'm giving today, so you had better heed the chit out of it! Seacrest...out. read more

Went in with a food truck because I was having battery problems, asked them to check the audio system connection to see if it was draining the battery. Not only did they run extensive testing , they told me why the battery wasn't working properly and told me how to fix it. Also did all of this FREE OF CHARGE. Everyone was very knowledgeable and I do not know much about cars and they broke down everything so I could understand it. Unbelievable service! read more

I shopped around A LOT!! i mean like for weeks for a responsive and trustworthy shop to get a remote start from.... it was worth the wait!! I went through lots of places and talked to tons of "salespeople" about what they offer and price points for certain features. Once I talked to Showtime I realized I should've done it weeks earlier. Jerry (the owner) and the girls up front answered all my questions honestly and right away. I got a great deal on my Viper remote start that was installed today and the technician that installed it was really knowledgeable. Words of wisdom.... If you're shopping around...
