I went into the story because my curiosity peaked and I was surprised by all the cool toys they had. Also, this store had all types of stuff for different ages. From card games, to board games, to tabletop and drinking games. They even had a freaking golf mat you could put in your bathroom when you're stuck on the toilet! Definitely, a great place if you like any variant of "games" minus the video games they don't have those)

There is also an area to the right of the entrance where you can pay a $10 fee per person to play a large assortment of games they have in their board game room. I came in with a gift card, looking to purchase a new game for myself. I wasn't too sure what I wanted, so I asked an employee for some advice, and she was wonderful! She took the time to learn what types of games I enjoy playing and walked me through a few different recommendations, explaining how the gameplay worked for each of them. Everyone I interacted with at this store were such wonderful people. I'll definitely return in the future and bring along some friends to play in the game room!

You'll meet…read morehelpful adults of all sorts of professions including art teachers, various aged kids and families. It's quiet and Jake and others are willing to teach games and painting. I started looking for a painting class and Jake said if I came in on slow nights he'd just help me and most of my paints are another brand. My painting has improved. I've watched his calm demeanor with kids and while running the store. They have game tables you may use and they're sturdy. I should have written a review long ago. I look forward to normality so people can hang out again.

Hardcore gamers mix with part-time hobbyists and rules arguments take a backseat to enjoyment. If you want to get into Warhammer, 40k, or Lord of the Rings wargaming? This is the place to start.

When I told her what book I was looking for she said "oh" while rolling her eyes a lead me to it. She handed it to me and started walking away while I was thanking her for her help. I could feel the attitude radiating off of her because of my book choice. I laughed it off and continued to browse a bit more. Eventually we got in line behind another customer. The same elderly woman opened another register to assist the customer in front of us. Naturally we started looking at the products that are in the check out area while we waited. The customer that was in front of us had an issue and left so it was our turn. The elderly woman proceeded to wave over the female customer behind us and she said that we were in front of her. We kindly insisted that she just go ahead and check out and we'll wait for the other employee further down. Then the elderly woman rudely said "come on, put your stuff here" and then decided to tell the customer behind us that the line starts where she's standing and that there should be blinking red lights signally that the line starts there. At that point it was VERY clear that she had an issue with us because of the book we were purchasing and tried to insinuate that we were stupid. Fine, you have a personal opinion but you are at work and are supposed to be providing good customer service regardless of your personal opinions. At no point were we rude or passive aggressive so her attitude was very uncalled for. Feeling done with the situation, I handed her my book and she hurried through our interaction. We kept our cool and were respectful, she asked if we wanted a bag and we declined and then she gave us our receipt and I told her to have a blessed day and once again talked over me. My Wonder-woman makeup cases were over priced but my gift card covered most of the payment. There were fun headsets at $9.99. There was television and movie swag, as well as a life sized Batman costume. Bonus points for the fun snack items.
