Maybe it's just because Arundel Mills is such a large mall that you forget where you have visited when you stop in here. After stopping in other stores looking at Lego kits I eventually made it here and did a once over in the store. I checked to see if they had certain kits and wanted to compare prices. I will say, that some prices are better at other stores that just carry the kits than this actual store. It was packed in here, almost to the brim. Which made browsing a bit difficult. However, if you aren't in the mood to go on a scavenger hunt, you can ask one of the many sales associates on the floor. I will say, they are very knowledgeable about what is available and where exactly in the store it is. I found what I wanted and made my way to the register. The guy at the register was very helpful and patient. He asked me what my rewards was and I had to take a minute to figure it out. Instead of relaying the information and confirming what it was, he just handed me his handheld and I was able to get the information in there for him. Once that was taken care of, the transaction was complete. I put the item in a bag I already had and went on my way.

They had an option to customize a LEGO character how you want, design the logo on it and print it out. Super fun! Great customer service and fantastic selection. Five stars!

There is also an area to the right of the entrance where you can pay a $10 fee per person to play a large assortment of games they have in their board game room. I came in with a gift card, looking to purchase a new game for myself. I wasn't too sure what I wanted, so I asked an employee for some advice, and she was wonderful! She took the time to learn what types of games I enjoy playing and walked me through a few different recommendations, explaining how the gameplay worked for each of them. Everyone I interacted with at this store were such wonderful people. I'll definitely return in the future and bring along some friends to play in the game room!

None of the gamer stores we visited in Baltimore County can hold a candle to this place. Pay the toll and get your butt over to Ritchie Highway. You'll want to burst into tears of joy when you set foot into the store. I was under the impression that it was difficult to own/run a game store, or thats what the owners of those little shops would have me believe. But this place had loads of customers, and a bunch of other regulars in a side room used for gathering for in person play. Jeremy got his wish. A group of our friends are planning on getting together at least one Friday a month to play the Wheel of Time RPG. And he suckered me into joining. So he insisted that I pick out my own dice, rolling tray (the non-herbal kind), and a bag to hold the dice. He got some stickers and other stuff, too, cuz he's just so very into embracing the tabletop rpg gamer lifestyle. We joined the rewards program, so we'll obviously be back.

When I told her what book I was looking for she said "oh" while rolling her eyes a lead me to it. She handed it to me and started walking away while I was thanking her for her help. I could feel the attitude radiating off of her because of my book choice. I laughed it off and continued to browse a bit more. Eventually we got in line behind another customer. The same elderly woman opened another register to assist the customer in front of us. Naturally we started looking at the products that are in the check out area while we waited. The customer that was in front of us had an issue and left so it was our turn. The elderly woman proceeded to wave over the female customer behind us and she said that we were in front of her. We kindly insisted that she just go ahead and check out and we'll wait for the other employee further down. Then the elderly woman rudely said "come on, put your stuff here" and then decided to tell the customer behind us that the line starts where she's standing and that there should be blinking red lights signally that the line starts there. At that point it was VERY clear that she had an issue with us because of the book we were purchasing and tried to insinuate that we were stupid. Fine, you have a personal opinion but you are at work and are supposed to be providing good customer service regardless of your personal opinions. At no point were we rude or passive aggressive so her attitude was very uncalled for. Feeling done with the situation, I handed her my book and she hurried through our interaction. We kept our cool and were respectful, she asked if we wanted a bag and we declined and then she gave us our receipt and I told her to have a blessed day and once again talked over me. I will not be visiting this location ever again. Thanks Jodi for your terrible customer service.
