We…read morewere not really sure what to expect at Cult Fiction Comics, but for a small shop it's very well stocked. Good selection of longboxes, some new pull books, along with a fair selection of dollar books on shelves. Pop selection was small but they had a nice amount of exclusives. Various toys and collectables including figures were spread around the shop. The owner was very helpful in searching for items and pleasant to chat with. Overall, this is one of the better small comic shops I've visited, and fully recommend it.

The books were in great shape and the prices were exceptional--there was a sale on the back issues today and I took full advantage of this. Cult Fiction Comics has been officially added to my favorite shops.

The service from the man at the cashier area was excellent. He did a good job letting us know about future sales & giving more details about items we were looking at. We will definitely be back!

Oh, I wasn't expecting much from such an ambitious-sounding name as "the comic book store," but I have to say...it really is THE comic book store to go to! I stayed here for several hours combing through their back issue bins, and I still didn't get through all of them. The place is split into two buildings--one for toys and the other for comics. I only went into the comic building, which, although small, it's undoubtedly mighty in terms of service and selection. I was highly impressed by the staff that day, which made me feel welcome and even chatted with me about various books and storylines, just like the best local comic book shops do. It really was an enjoyable experience. And I found many hidden gems I never thought I'd find at such fantastic prices. I will certainly come back to this place again whenever I'm in the area.

This isn't a snoody insider shop, where an angry neckbeard will laugh at you for not knowing your Image from your Darkhorse. These folks are happy to help anybody with their first venture into comics, or will kindly leave the veterans to browse. They will set up a pull-list for you, if you want to keep up to date on the latest issues, which is even easier and more convenient to do from home if you use Facebook or Instagram. Just follow their posts and comment on their new release postings to pre-order anything in advance. And my favorite Sunday activity is following their weekly "Claims," where they feature new-to-the-store key issues and bundles at great deals. It's also a great spot for Free Comic Book Day and Halloween. They have some back issues, including some nice expensive finds on the wall and behind the glass, but since it's not the biggest shop in the world, you could probably look elsewhere for that. The customer service and atmosphere is what I come for, though, so it's my first and primary destination for new books.

My wife and 12 year old son purchased a SD Card from the GameStop in Ridley Park. She noticed…read moreafter the sale that the clerk charged her $63.59 for a SD Card that was priced at $34.99. She asked Shawn, the manager why they charged her twice the price listed on the package. Shawn told her that prices do increase unexpectedly and that it was employee error. He did not offer her a refund or any other option. My wife was extremely upset when she got home. She said that Shawn told her that there is nothing he can do. My wife was also upset because Shawn did not give her a receipt so she had no proof of the purchase. Luckily she paid using her credit card. I took the card back to GameStop and talked with Shawn. He said that prices go up on items and the posted price was an employee error. He offered me a refund and asked for an ID. I gave him my Army CAC Card and he told me cannot accept the Military ID as proof. I have used this same CAC Card to access the Pentagon, classified areas and airlines but it's not good at GameStop. I have no idea what the pricing policies at GameStop are but it seems that you cannot trust the posted prices. The priced marked evidently does not matter. My 12 year old is very upset and he is going to tell all his friends not to shop at GameStop. My wife is upset by how they treated her and thinks they gave us extremely poor service because we are an interracial couple. I cannot recommend GameStop at Ridley Park. Marc 215-204-7482

The complaining is epic but we move on, trying to reach our destination, which seems to get further with each step. We are on our way to Gamestop, for the Pokemon event. The rule is, if I take the kids here, we have to make the 20min walk instead of being driven. Unfortunately for them, these pokemon events, are always in Winter. This Gamestop is hit or miss. There's one employee here( I'll make sure to catch his name next time) that is one of the best I've experienced. Friendly, knowledgeable, good with kids, he's worth the long, cold, sad march. Sadly, if he's not there, the quality drops. Once, a guy couldn't even answer simple questions about a Wii I was going to purchase. I'm also a little disappointed about a glitch that happened after signing up for the rewards card, that didn't allow me to collect points. I mean, a software store that can't deal with a glitch? Child please! But I digress. The positives certainly outweigh the negatives. Shit, they gave my kids a free virtual pokemon, I can't stay mad at them. So the kids got their Pokemon, we coveted some games and accessories and we made our way out, and into the cold, for the not-as-long as they make it out to be walk home. As they tried to make a deal where if it's any colder next time, we have to drive, I smiled, ready to launch into a "when I was a kid" speech, that would freeze their lazy lips shut.
