The owner(I believe) was very helpful and knowledgeable. There was a large selection of gundams and other D&D style games. They have nights that are scheduled to play these games and have several huge tables to play on. The most impressive thing was the selection of paints, Tamiya and Valero, and model tools. Where we live near Nashville, there are not any hobby shops. It was great to stock up on some paints and supplies I needed, to put hands on product, not on a keyboard. If possible PLEASE stop in and support this local business, because it really is great to have a physical location to touch and browse actual product.

When I challenged him one where he got that quote cause was way off and felt like a insult to me. He stated that's the "book value". Hahaha. Don't think he understands condition affects value and he runs a card shop. Not to mention selling junk cards for $4 each. Another thing is he had all the cards in piles under locked case where you can only look at the top card. How does he expect to sell the cards if we cant see them. I asked to look and he opened up with hesitation. Then had a awkward moment while he watched me right next to case looking with me in every single card in one pile. So odd I refrained from looking more. The quoted card came from this moment and was stored raw without even a penny sleeve. So he has a $120 card raw in a pile in a locked case. What a joke. Card was a damaged poor condition 1968 Topps #45 Tom Seaver. $5-10 recent sales on eBay.

This shop is like a futuristic comic shop. I can see how it would be more inclusive and welcoming. Super selection of board games I've never seen and a lot of POP figures. Lots of fantastic books. Those probably filled the shelves more than comics. Good selection of trades. A few I'd never seen before but also I never know what I'm looking for. For someone like me I'd still need to supplement for everything I like. Back issues are non existent here. Possibly helps to keep it smelling nice! Nothing is on sale or "cheap" because the place is brand new. I don't think that's a deterrent though. You just need to set expectations for what you are going in their for. If you're looking for an 80's black and white turtles issue then go to Ontario. If you're looking for a brand new trade that has all those issues from that run in one place than go here. This place is huge in comparison to a lot of the other nerdy type stores I've been to. And, unlike…read moreother nerdy type stores, this one is well lit, with plenty of huge windows up front, and clean floors and empty tables with chairs for people to hump in and play together. They have a game library where you can do an all-you-can-play for $5 a head, and there's plenty of space to play it! They also have community days where you can borrow the games for free! If you're here shopping for the game nerd in your life, and you can't quite afford a full on game, they have little enamel pins and stickers and such that will be a nice little small gift for your gaming friend, while not breaking the budget. I liked that the stickers were made by a local artist, whose name was on the board where they were displayed. At $4 each for a vinyl sticker, I'd say it was a pretty decent buy for something that supports a local artist. And yes, you could buy similar themed stickers at online retailers, but those are generally a bunch of stolen art work slapped onto sticker paper and sold, or a bunch of AI garbage. These stickers looked like they'd been made by the person who was putting their name on them. They also have a private D&D type game room that you can rent to play your more involved pen and paper RPG's in. It's got a table, some chairs, and a door that closes so that you can have your privacy. We went in on a Saturday, and the place was absolutely jumping. People playing card games (Magic The Gathering I think was prominent), board games, or just having snacks and hanging out. This place is a cool spot to check out if you want the company of other gaming types without having to go spend a fortune on drinking.

It is so amazing to look at all the different character pops; there is really one for anything you can imagine! The sweet owners were so happy to have us there and were one of the nicest people we've ever met. They were helpful in finding us a specific pop and we ended up buying a few more to complete the collection!
