They have an amazing selection of trains, including all different gauges, also miniature buildings, animals, people and everything else for your trains set. We didn't have an opportunity to stay too long so I'll be back to take a more in depth look in the near future. The staff are very helpful and super knowledgeable so come with questions and leave with answers. They also have a display with several trains set up with buttons for people to try to see what lights up or makes sound. The trains were not moving while we were there and they were kind of busy in the lead up to Christmas so we didn't ask to have them running, but I'm sure they would have turned them on if we had asked.

I got excited to go in and shop, but the way the employees treated me, I wouldn't spend a penny. There was one guy outside wearing a store t-shirt so I started chatting with him since I was about to go in HIS STORE, and he literally just stared at me like I was from Mars. Didn't even reply to my speaking. So I went in to browse and there were several other employees in the back area who clearly saw me but couldn't be bothered to greet me, welcome me into the store, ask if they could help me out in any way. Turned around and left without buying anything, because let's be real: everything in that store is available online and cheaper. The only reason to buy at those prices is to support local, but if local can't treat you with a shred of dignity, why would you?

This…read morepast weekend we stopped in after hearing they had a selection of gundam models we wanted to check out. First the entrance is in the BACK of the store so when you turn the corner, parking is behind the store/houses sharing a lot with a garage. There are signs showing you where to go, just be aware these are for the shop, not the garage. You enter in the back of the store with the sale items then enter the main store with car, plane and model trains. They dont have the best/most selection I've ever seen but they do have a good stock that if you look close, you might find a gem. There were plenty of paints and supplies we found and it reminded me of old school train stores I frequented with my grandfather. Store owner was pleasant, asking if we needed anything before going back to his conversation with another patron. We did eventually find the gundams but were disappointed to see he only had 5 base models in stock. Overall a nice business but with strange hours and parking situation it can be hard to find/get in. More for the model train/car enthusiast but worth a stop if you're near by.

Good new pull and longbox selection, with some interesting cheap bins in the mix. Shop also has a large graphic novel selection. Board game selection was fair with a seemly large selection of miniatures also available. Collectibles again are not a major part of this shop as they don't have a wide selection. One difference is that Swarthmore has a larger amount of gaming tables, with several located in a back section. Overall, this is another solid, clean comic book shop from Showcase Comics worth a visit.
