I contacted ca2ae on behalf of my fiance (now husband) to see about booking his bachelor party with them. I had actually called after their business hours but within 30 minutes got a call back by Hector. He was extremely amiable and informative. Unfortunately it seemed that based on the group size that we wouldn't be able to book their services. After calling around a couple other locations (that weren't very responsive at all) and then connecting with one location that although responded was very slow at confirming details, the time frame got so stretched out that my back was to the wall in needing to get something booked and so I contacted ca2ae again. Again a quick response from Hector and it turned out that his crew would be able to accommodate us. I didn't personally attend the event but my husband really raved about how great of an experience it was (and really, his experience is all that really mattered to me. lol!). Hector and his wife (plus another couple of instructors) catered to all attending, ensuring to instruct based on each person's experience level. They also made the experience really fun by setting up some "competitions" amongst the group. Lastly, best thing for me was they had professional photography of the entire event. I got to see all the fun that was had! I was definitely jealous because it sounded like something I would've totally loved to do! After our honeymoon I am certain that I'll be booking another experience with them that I will get to attend! Thank you California 2nd Amendment!

Got to try Clay shooting for the first time today. My instructors were amazing. Patient, skillful, and supportive. Learned firearms safety, properly handling a firearm and got to shoot several clays on my first time. Highly recommended. Going again in a couple weeks.

Our Instructor really knew what he was doing, made everything comfortable with the safety of the shooter in mind. i have been an avid shooter since i was a kid and was really surprised that after all my years shooting with a little more instruction my trap and skeet skills still had room for improvement. Wow, what can I say about instructor Hector Barragán and his wife Jennifer. This is the first time I have been skeet shooting, i came here with a group of co workers 6 total and the whole experience was smooth. We checked in and signed waivers and Hector explained the safety rules, we were given eye protection and ear protectors. Although we were in a group of 6 it always felt like I were the only one there and the flow was great at no point did I feel bored. The constant encouragement from the instructor and peers made the experience great. At no point was I ever asked to go beyond my comfort zone and pace ( what can I say I'm still new to guns) I have horrible coordination but I was able to chip one, heck that is a score in my book. They came prepared with water for us and a camera to take photos of the experience. Jennifer would also use our phones to take photos since of course we wanted to document in real time. Would definitely recommend to my friends, family and anyone who wants to have a good time. I think this was a great team working event!

Whether you are a new or highly experienced shooter, I highly recommend Hector and Jennifer for a great day at the range. We had a lot of fun with them and our package was complete when we received our pictures from Jennifer. Hector helped us learn how to handle a gun safely while giving us tips on shooting. We went for shotgun lessons and will go back for handgun lessons as well. Thank you Hector and Jennifer. read more

I had an amazing time on the shotgun tour, and I can't say enough great things about our instructor, Hector. From start to finish, he was patient, knowledgeable, and incredibly safety-focused. He explained everything clearly, made sure everyone felt comfortable, and added a lot of fun to the experience with his upbeat attitude. Whether you're a complete beginner or have some experience, Hector makes the tour both exciting and confidence-building. I left with new skills, great memories, and a big smile. Hector and Jennifer were incredible! I had never held a gun before--let alone fired one--especially a double-barrel shotgun. I was extremely nervous at first, but Hector immediately put me at ease. His clear instructions and emphasis on safety helped me feel confident, and to my surprise, I even managed to hit several targets! Both Hector and Jennifer were highly professional and clearly experts at what they do. Their guidance made the whole experience not only safe but genuinely fun. I'm now even considering getting a firearm for home protection. Next time, I plan to bring my wife and kids--I know they'll enjoy it just as much as I did. I can't recommend this experience enough. What a great experience!!! Hector & Jennifer were professional the whole time & made it fun to learn how to handle & shoot a shotgun. Jennifer took awesome pictures of our session while we shot clays! This was definitely a fun thing to do with our family on a weekend outing! The clays fly pretty fast.. Hector and Jennifer greeted me and my group and walked us through the entire process at the range. They got us signed up, equipped, and safety briefed and quickly got us shooting. With Jennifer assisting and taking photos, Hector went through with us step-by-step and ensured we understood how to shoot safely and effectively and was 100% with us at every moment. Even though many of us had zero experience with shotguns and sporting clays, we met with success under Hector's guidance while providing some challenges and expert coaching for more experienced shooters. My group and I had a great time and was able to take home some great photos in addition to the memories. I would whole heartedly recommend Hector, Jennifer, and Shotgun Tours for all groups large or small looking for a great time or individuals looking to improve their shotgun handling. read more

I came on a clay shooting tour with my girlfriend Annette. Annette and I not knowing a thing about over and under shotguns, wanting to learn how to shoot a shotgun properly. Our Instructor Hector was very friendly and very helpful. Hector was very thorough and easy to follow along with, and really helped us to understand everything that we needed to know about shooting an over and under shotguns properly. Just did the clay shooting, being a first timer I had no idea what to expect. I was pleasantly surprised! Hector the instructor was very informative and helpful, explaining everything step by step. He and Jennifer are super friendly and make you feel great, their knowledge on guns and experience are shared with you and there's no question they can't answer.They make the experience so much fun and are very encouraging giving you tips to make sure you do your best.. Was a surprisingly extremely safe and family-oriented environment. He was very insightful and was even certified, which is always a plus for me. I would take anyone of my friends or family members here as it was a very laid back activity. Hector was very friendly and knowledgeable, as he helped us learn the proper and safe way to shoot. He is licensed and knows what he is doing, creating a safe and fun environment for all ages. What a fun experience for a birthday activity, I had with my closest friends and family. Safety was our guides Hector and Jennifer Barragan's number one priority by teaching our group the proper way to carry and handle the shot guns. They always made sure that we were comfortable and help with our confidence. Jennifer also took some beautiful shots (pictures, lol) no pun intended of the tour. The sporting clays were a blast, but what really made the day memorable were the two staff members who assisted us at the shooting gallery on the afternoon of June 22, 2026. Both employees were incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, and professional. They maintained a safe, well-run range while going above and beyond to help everyone have a great experience. One staff member noticed that my mom's shirt wasn't suitable for the range and generously provided her with a spare shirt he had available. He also took the time to help my cousin replace a spring on his firearm after noticing it needed attention. The other staff member gave our group an excellent safety briefing that was both informative and entertaining. Later, he spent time giving my mom, aunt, and cousin a short lesson with their pistols after noticing they were struggling to hit the targets. Thanks to his coaching, all three were soon ringing the steel targets consistently, and they were absolutely thrilled. He even provided my mom with heavier-duty hearing protection when she mentioned the noise level was bothering her. The entire range was operated safely and professionally, and these two staff members truly stood out because of their patience, expertise, and willingness to help. Their customer service turned a fun day into a fantastic one. We are very grateful for their help and will definitely be returning to Raahauge's in the future. Highly recommended!

Been coming here for around 2 years and the last couple experiences broke the camel's back for me…read more I did like this place. Never had an issue with the cashiers, sad to hear other people's experiences with them. The area is nice and spacious which is why I liked going here, you get your own bay and usually nobody bothers you. For 2 hours you'll pay 32 buck with cash and 37 with card. The wait can be brutal so get there early in the morning. There was a group of 4 of us this one time. The 2 older Range Officers, a middle aged Asian American guy and an old geezer probably in his 60s, they kept annoying us and tried multiple times flirting with our chick friend in the group. The chick friend told me she's goin' to stick next to me, so the Range Officers would stop interacting with her. Never had the Range Officers give my group this much attention. Long story short that broke the camel's back for me. I was at the 50 yard bay shooting a pistol with one hand, at a steel target provided by the range. Shot one handed here before with no issues. A younger Range Officer yelled at me and said what I was doing. I calmly replied back with no demeanor or with a rude attitude. I guess he didn't like me replying back to him when I answered his questions, then the middle aged Asian American Range Officer quickly comes up to talk to me. I replied calmly to him too, I apologized to deescalate the situation and he still kept being a fat d*ckhead. Then the old geezer Range Officer in his 60s who talks like he has sh*t stuck up his ass, I think he's the master of them, comes up to the bay and talks to me. He also didn't like it when I calmly replied back, it made him even more mad. If ya have a tough skin you'll be fine. The Range Officers are rude, except for one. Don't talk back to the Range Officers, they don't like it haha. Maybe you'll have a better experience here than I have. Won't be coming back here sadly.

He then gave me about 36 rounds, told me to grab a new target, and said he'd meet me in a lane. Long story short, he spent 10-15 minutes helping to figure out the problem and got me shooting in the right direction ;) at no cost. I didn't expect that at all and couldn't be more grateful for his time. I also met Steven, the owner, who was just as friendly and took time to answer my questions about purchasing specific firearms. At no point did I feel like a burden. Thanks again for your time, I'll definitely be back, even with a 30-40 minute commute. It's worth it.

I thought this would be a great way to use our funds and teach him pool safety. Fast forward to today, my son has since turned 7 this year, and he still does not know how to swim or even put his head under the water. Granted, we were not going consistently. But for the past 3 months we have taken him weekly. Before that we did 2 other months I believe. I thought, let's just keep trying, maybe it's just that he's scared and he'll learn if we stick it out. My child struggles with sensory issues and has not been interested in getting his face wet. He also has a harder time being around other kids in very close proximity which, he definitely is here. He did the group lessons for 30 mins and they're basically shoulder to shoulder most of the time. So, the good: when he first started he really liked the two different teachers that worked w/him. The class was usually just him and one other child. The location is clean, and the staff seemed friendly. My son also mostly enjoyed the time and being in the pool, so it was good for getting more experience around other kids, teachers and being in a new environment. The negative: the teachers rotate so you never know who you're going to get. So one teacher might know where your kid is at, but then a new person comes in the next week and it's like starting all over. It seems hard to build a comfortable relationship with the teachers because of this as well. Also, my son never progressed much at all. He moved to the larger pool this year and it's been 3 kids to 1 teacher. recently, however, there were 4 kids in the class. I timed it on my phone out of curiosity- to see exactly how much 1:1 time he got during that class. 4 mins and 9 seconds. Total. The class moved like a conveyor belt just shuffling the kids around, I couldn't believe the kids were getting less than 5 mins each with the teacher. The time in between their turn, they're just holding on to the edge of the pool waiting. My son felt very cramped and two other kids were being kids and having fun but disrupting the class, so the teacher's attention was mainly spent on telling them to stop doing what they were doing. My son was frustrated and felt like he wasted his time. He also had safety concerns because the kids were practically on top of him at times and kicking and splashing in his personal space, so I don't blame him. He's already afraid as it is. Today we went back and there were 4 kids again. He just didn't want to do it again. The kids seem to be on a hamster wheel. The teachers, though friendly, simply don't have adequate time to actually teach the kids anything solid. It's like busy work. I also had a strange phone conversation with the owner recently. to be frank, she kept trying to rush me off the phone and I kept having to say "oh, wait sorry" (nicely) because i had more than one question but she seemed bothered with me. She also didn't explain about making up a certain day and how many days I had to reschedule when my kid got sick. You only get one make up class for the whole year which seems odd to me. We already missed two classes due to vacation (1 planned reschedule) and sickness (she apparently gave us 7 days from the date of the class to reschedule but didn't actually communicate that to me- I found out from the girls at the front desk AFTER the fact and the 7 days passed, which was frustrating because I would have brought him in. I guess I was supposed to assume what she meant when she asked "what does he have??" As in asking what illness he had. I said idk, a cold I think? But wasn't sure. So she "made a note" on her end but never specified that I had to come in within 7 days to make it up. Which really was just a courtesy reschedule because they don't even offer that. So, oh well. Honestly though, even beyond all this, I could see and feel the judgement when I mentioned today that my kid was more easily overwhelmed and we would maybe look into one on one classes for the future. I got the impression that there was very little understanding or empathy there for my child, and my family and I felt brushed off. Bottom line, just not for us. 4 kids is too many for one pool. 4 mins is not enough time to give each kid when you're paying for 30. Maybe one on one classes are different, or with smaller groups, but I had too many incidents where I brought up a concern and felt dismissed. In the future we'll be going elsewhere but I'm bummed we went for so long with really not much to show for it. At the very least my kid got a little more comfortable being in the water but for paying about $400-$500 total and like 4-5 months of weekly classes? I would not say this was worth that time or money unfortunately.

I had an absolutely fantastic time with shotgun tours and training with Hector and his wife, Jennifer! From start to finish, the experience was top-notch. Safety was always their number one priority, and they made sure everyone--from complete beginners to seasoned shooters--felt confident and comfortable. Hector is an outstanding instructor whose knowledge and patience really shine through, and Jennifer's support and guidance added so much to the experience. What a great idea this was! During our gun shooting tour we learned about guns, how to handle them, how to respect the gun and how to shoot and have fun. We scheduled a gun shooting tour with this company and we were not disappointed. Our guide was fun and energetic, we were educated on gun safety and was shown how to use the guns properly. We booked the Clay Shooting tour and let me tell you we had tons of fun. An unforgettable experience that will last us a lifetime. I could not wait to share this experience with friends and family. First off, Hector was the man! There was nothing he didn't know, the man is a vault of gun knowledge. The safety training was a no brainer, he made it really fun an informative on the simple things to do and not do. Then came the actual shooting. He started me off at the hip, then after getting used to the kick, we moved up to the shoulder. After a couple of tries, I shattered my first flying target! WHAT A BLAST! Made me feel like a king among men. As the day went on I only got better and better, as did my friends. This was an awesome day for my fiancee and I; the Barragans made this a unique trip as a husband and wife team. Everything we needed was ready to go and their guidance helped a first-time shotgun shooter hit over a half-dozen clays! The site was awesome, huge spave with all types of setups, including for other firearms and competition rules. It was a great day of shooting and stories, and we couldn't ask for better guides.
