I attended the Class room instruction portion to obtain my Ccw license at this facility on 8/27/20. We had great pleasure of meeting our San B county Sheriffs John McMahon for an introduction & brief Q&A . He was absolutely awesome! Friendly & informative! As far as the instructors for our class it was taught by Detective Dominick along with Deputy Verral. I had no idea how much valuable information we learned in our 8hr requirement as part of the process from a power point presentation to video clips of real life experiences, to more Q & A ... it was so much educational information in such a short period time frame that flew by so fast . I'm so glad I attended this class and I am even more ecstatic about having the ability to be a CCW license holder . One more step next which is the range date at the designated Gun range locations which they will inform you In order to obtain a Ccw license holds such a huge responsibility but definitely worth every step of the way . These class room portion was a lot of fun & entertaining even in the midst of this Covid pandemic I'm happy they made adjustments to help every candidate through this entire process. You guys rock !

Came for my San Bernardino CCW class and range qualifications. The entire staff was great, from the the time you sign till your done with the class & range. I was dreading the 8 hr course. Not knowing what to expect since there's nothing available online. Driving up the road to the range, I started to notice all the cars behind me coming up too. I thought I arrived early but found that there where already a lot full of people before me. They did have other thing going on as well too. I parked and had a good size group of fellow classmates walking towards the check in area. The class was already getting full and that was not even everyone. When they said to arrive early they meant it. The Sheriff's staff running everything were awesome. They made it feel welcoming. Know that everyone there was excited to be there. I know At least I was, waiting over a year for everything to fall in place and finally getting to the come to the range day. I was ready to endure the long 8 hr day. Detective Dominick and the Deputies really made the class great. They went through all the important details and threw out a few good jokes, the class went by quickly and next was the range. You can see everyone's excitement. The range officers did a awesome job explaining everything and it went very smoothly. My group did a great job and everyone seemed to be prepared and before you knew it we where done. I left ecstatics knowing I finally completed this part of my journey of getting my CCW. Come to the class prepared, come early so you don't Waste the Sheriff's or other classmates time. Pay attention and listen to them so your not that person asking the same question they just answered. My tip to you. Get there early, bring a pen follow there instructions. Also and bring them some treats like donuts. They seriously will appreciate it. I wish I did. They deal with this all year long and a little goes a long way. Don't stress your wait time, follow all there instructions and treat them well because your there because you wanted to be there, they're there to help you get your CCW. San Bernardino Sheriffs are the best!!!!

Appreciate the presence of Sheriff McMahon's presence in the class! Detective Dominick and Deputy Vernal made this class fun, safe and equipt us with all the knowledge needed for CCW. Never ever ever ever ever bring gun to School Zone.

Range qualification, lots of people but the process gets it done fast.

Awesome experience! Thank you to all of the instructors, they really show true professionalism and in a really fun way. Plenty of stories and experiences shared, lots of laughs. I would recommend anyone in the county with good morals to get the ball rolling and apply.

Just took the "class" portion of the CCW process. It was a great class! Our wonderful Sheriff came in for a quick intro and Q&A. Our amazing instructors Detective Dominick & Deputy Verral did a wonderful job! They have so much information to give and they do it in a "fun" way that makes the information STICK! Thanks guys!

I first want to thank All of the officers for your service in our community. This location holds the San Bernardino County sheriff's Academy and also trains other local branches in law enforcement. This range certifies for PC832 and CCW permits along with other law enforcement training activities. The grounds are maintained by inmates , so make sure your guns are secured properly and that your vehicle is locked.

My dad brought me here all the time when I was 12 years old. Great memories!

It was his first time training and he called the experience "electric" and can't wait to come back. It was so good to continue to learn and hone our foundational skills. Paula and Sayaka are both amazing instructors. We were so fortunate to train with both of them together. Paula's precision, patience and expertise instills humility, confidence and appreciation for how to properly safely manage and engage with your firearm. She is a world-class teacher and we felt like we were being grounded with the best possible instruction. Sayaka's enthusiasm, patience, and excitement in teaching the principles were so beneficial. She brought a sense of joy, confidence, and accessibility to her teaching. Each time Sayaka provided personal instruction I was able to apply seamlessly. She always emphasized safety and situational awareness and made the learning process simple to digest and easy to use in real time. She is a terrific instructor for anyone who is looking to learn and improve their firearm skills. We all felt like we had truly taken huge strides in our skills from the beginning to the end of the day. I cannot recommend highly enough the courses and instructors at American Defense Enterprises Thank you again! We look forward to coming back soon.

I later spoke with Paula who was friendly and helpful, she told me she was gathering enough people for a small beginners class for women, I asked if I could bring some friends and she said yes. We signed up and she provided all the information via email. I nor my friends had ever shot guns before so we were a little nervous. We got to the range and met Sayaka, who was badass! She assisted us to get geared up and shared about her expertise. There was about 6 people in our class, so it made it very intimate and they were able to assist us individually if needed! Paula and Sayaka went over various topics of safety. Already it made me feel at ease. Paula is so knowledgeable and quite hilarious she had be cracking up the entire class. Paula and Sayaka made a great team and they explained everything thoroughly. Such cool ladies! I was so inspired by them! We went over the movement of pulling the gun out from the holster over and over and over. But we didn't use the gun just learned the movements so we can get comfortable. Then we moved on to actually holding the gun. It was really helpful, because once we began shooting the adrenaline spiked! I got a lil scared and so did my friend but Paula and Sayaka were extremely patient and helpful. They showed us how to shot, where to shot, and how to reload. They gave me so much confidence that I could be badass like them! I will definitely be back and taking the next course. The three hours flew by! It was a lot of fun! We didn't know we were gonna get to shot in the shoothouse so that was a surprise and such a great time! Paula got some cool pics of us. 10/10 experience and I def recommend to women who have never shot before. It's definitely a necessity to protect ourselves and our loved ones!

Ray taught about the various ways to put together your own med kit, how each item is used, demonstrated applying a tourniquet, properly packing and dressing a wound, applying a chest seal, and then he instructed us as we applied tourniquets to ourselves and others. We also learned about various techniques to securely move/drag a buddy to safety, if needed. We also packed a dummy wound with simulated blood flow. This part was extremely valuable because the simulated blood kept us aware of how to actually stop the flow with proper finger placement, using enough gauze, and finally applying enough pressure. The class gave me the information and training to now feel a lot more confident and competent in being able to properly stop a bleed with gauze and/or a tourniquet as well as even possibly continuing to defend myself or others in worst case scenarios.
