EXCELLENT hands on training. Very knowledgeable and friendly. Thank you Jack and Konnie!

My husband and I completed our CCW Renewal with this company. Gary handled the in-person training. It was thorough, professional, and informative. They have an online training option, but we choose to do it in-person. His wife, Konnie, Gary, and another gentleman handled the shooting qualification. The three instructors worked together to teach you gun safety, how to handle malfunctions, and proper technique. This was a very positive experience. read more

Everyone who owns a gun should go through this course. Firearm safety and how to properly use the firearm are absolutely necessary for any and all people who own one. Both Gary & Konnie have excellent knowledge and the ability to teach it to others. Great team work! So fortunate to have gone through this course with them. read more

I have been utilizing L&L for all of my training and pistol needs since 2022 and I can't say enough great things about them! They are highly informed and trained, which is necessary when it comes to guns and living in this crazy state of California. I just recently completed my ccw renewal training with them and I'm happy I did. I appreciate that Konnie and Gary work as a team to teach us and give us hands-on education. It can be intimidating at times being a woman in the gun world, but I greatly appreciate their knowledge and patience in the training they offer to both women and men. If anyone asks for a recommendation, L&L is who I recommend. read more

This is my second time taking my CCW renewal class with this fantastic organization. Gary, Connie, and Jack were superb. Patient, a wealth of knowledge, accommodating and friendly... Gary and his wife Konnie are excellent instructors. The knowledge they possesses on gun laws are mind blowing, when you leave their class, there was no confusion. They answered all the questions that you have it didn't matter if you thought it was a dumb question. when we arrive to the gun range. I was so nervous because I had never shot a pistol. There knowledge and understanding that. everyone there were novice.. they understood exactly what we needed to be shoot someone while you were getting your training at the shooting range. I would recommend their classes to anyone that wants to understand the gun laws and to be in a safe environment at a shooting range wire how to shoot and preparing for qualified cases with any pistol I will be registering for some of their other classes because. of the knowledge and their background, you couldn't find a better shooting class to attend.. I trusted them because Gary has a military background from Marine Corps and he understands weapons and safety. It is probably not necessary, but I'm leaving my name My name willie McCallie Former Marine read more

My wife took their CCW prep class a couple months ago. With Konnie's instruction, my wife went from unsure of herself to shooting better than I do in just one day! Because of this I signed up with L&L to renew my CCW license. I'm glad I did! I had such a great time!Gary and Konnie are very kind. If you're lucky, you may even be treated to some fresh vegetables from their garden! Before you start your qualification at the range, they will run you through some gun training and safety drills. These are just exercises and do not count as your score. I loved this part of the class because it helps you identify your weaknesses and gives you direction to help better your gun handling skills in the future. After the drills it made the target shooting test seem easy. Jack assisted Konnie and Gary today. I tend to "slap" my trigger, which causes my shooting patterns to go down and to the left. Gary and Jack took the time to help me clean that up and have a smoother trigger pull. It definitely helped! My wife and I are going to sign up for some private lessons in the near future! read more

Went here for my CCW Prep class today and going to enroll into my CCW Class and qualifier here soon. Konnie is an excellent teacher, very patient, and one hell of a shooter, making another student's firearm a literal tack driver with less than 1" groupings. Also, found out during my prep class that her husband Gary also works with my contract, small world. So it's really nice to be around familiar faces and support not only locally, but most of all, our veterans. The range L&L uses (Rainbow Shooting Range, nestled right off the I-15 N side) is really nice (actually pretty too) and insanely clean, has hand-wash stations and port-a-potties that are clean as a port-a-potty can be, so plan accordingly. Cannot wait to go back there, I might have to sign up for a 1-year membership! read more

I just completed L&L 16 hour conceal carry class for initial ccw applicants and every thing was great. Gary is a great instructor who really takes his time explaining all the laws about conceal carrying in the state, he shows exciting passion with his teachings. It doesn't matter your experience with firearms or your background just come with an open mind to learn the difficult laws we have to navigate and Gary and his team will be happy to explain and teach. read more

THE BEST EXPERIENCE I'VE EVER HAD IN MY LIFE!!!! Went into the basic pistol class with absolute no knowledge about firearms, I never even seen one so close in my life, let alone shoot one. The instructor Konnie was so exceptional in the teaching and structure of her class that I actually had the confidence and excitement when heading over to the range portion of the class. At the range, Konnie and her son, Jack, were so encouraging and completely engaged with all the students including myself. They helped tweak the little things that were throwing off my accuracy when it came to shooting and they were non-stop completely supportive in everything I did. I'm so thankful that I came to L&L Firearms Training to learn from this amazing family! I will definitely be returning to improve and grow my skills in the art of marksmanship. Thank you Konnie and Jack for providing me with the knowledge to safely exercise my 2nd Amendment rights and finding a lifelong hobby that I absolutely am in love with now! read more

Signed my wife and daughter-in-law up for the **Lady's**NRA Basic Pistol Shooting Course, which they attended a few weeks ago. The wife has told me in the past I have the patience of a piss-ant, when it comes to teaching anybody (her) anything significant. It had been over 20 years since she minimally handled a firearm and the DIL had never handled one; so what better way to have this training covered - via a company that gets high ratings for how they handle business! I made some inquiries, via e-mail, beforehand and Gary & Konnie were quick to respond and very informative. I appreciate that level of professionalism! The normal indoor classroom portion of the course was moved outdoors to the range, due to the covid restrictions. I am glad it was not a cold day for them lol. After the classroom portion they moved on to live fire training. They had a blast (no pun intended), stated they learned a lot and feel much more comfortable handling firearms now. For first timers they did pretty darn well, showing me their targets which they brought home and proudly presented. They both stated that Konnie and her son (who assisted with the training) were great. I purchased some snap cap / dummy rounds so they could practice loading / unloading, making safe and general handling / manipulation of the firearms they have access to in a safe manner; to build upon their muscle memory. I highly recommend you do this for the novice in the family. I really appreciate, and recommend, L&L Firearms Training. read more

I am a returning student of Gary and Connie. I took the Ladies Basic Pistol Class and then the CCW class. I was impressed with the the presentation of the information, the organization of the class and how both Gary and Connie are knowledgeable and make you feel ease. The CCW course was done in a hybrid model due to Covid restrictions, but I didn't feel cheated. Gary runs a tight ship at the range and provides good supportive feedback. I would highly recommend any of their classes. Kim Oliver read more

Wow! Gary and his wife Konnie are amazing people! They are nice, sincere, patient, and very helpful. They are both WONDERFUL instructors, and we are so happy to have found them! Gary even spent about an hour with me on the phone before I booked the class since I had so many questions! They have much passion and knowledge! We tired lessons about 5 yrs ago (from another instructor) but it was not as detailed as Gary's Basic NRA pistol class. We learned WAY more this time around, and now are much more comfortable around guns, and may just be ready to buy one now! Thanks again Gary and Konnie! My husband is so happy he passed all the rounds and made rank 4 since most people cannot do it right away (less than 1% you said!) We both had so much fun and learned a lot!! Oh and thank you so much for all the photos you both took, they are such nice memories our of time with you both! :-) read more

Had a great experience with Gary! I purchased the pistol course for my 75 year old mother for Christmas.
