I'm not opposed to paying premium for "elite" service, but that's not exactly what I got. Brought in a few winter coats that needed cleaning. They got the job done (took almost a week), including a blood stain on one coat (you should have seen the other guy!). Yet when I put on the coat the next day I noticed that all the buttons on my jacket were very lose, and not a day later did one fall off. I don't plan on returning.

The two I could use, same size... one didn't give me the extra rinse I paid for and fished 13 minutes sooner than the other one that did do the extra rinse. Additionally, all three dryers had different temperatures so I had to wait for the hottest one for three different loads. The place is no longer clean. Don's does SO much more than just leather cleaning and rug laundry, and their reviews speak for…read morethemselves. When I used my mom's wedding dress as my own, my first step was finding the best dry clean and press service in the Twin Cities. With a 40-year old dress for a special occasion, I wanted the best. I called around to a few different bigger name dry cleaning spots, and both admitted they outsourced their wedding dress dry cleaning, pressing, and preservation. Both shared they outsourced specifically to Don's. So I decided to go right to the source - and I'm so glad I did. Their place may not look like much from the outside, but the team inside really cares about the quality of their work. I had my dress first dry cleaned and pressed back in September 2023, and it turned out perfectly. You can tell they take a lot of care and attention to detail with their work. They let me know that they couldn't get one mark off the bottom of the dress' lace trim that wasn't cleaned properly (40 years ago - haha!) and could do another round of cleaning if I wanted to try a harsher remover. They paid attention to every detail. And that's why, when I was preparing to wear my dress again this June for our reception, I knew I'd only go to Don's. They got chocolate cake I'd left on it for 6+ months out like nothing had happened, and it looks good as new. The prices for wedding dress cleaning and pressing are MORE than reasonable - you won't be able to beat it in the metro area for the quality and care they provide. I will be preserving my dress - for another 40 years I hope! - here in July, and recommend them to everyone. They'll be my first stop for any leather and rug needs, too!

This is my first Yelp review, and I only do it now because it's a special situation…read more I went in for the first time the other day to get a seam on my zipper fixed. Picked it up a week later, and it looked good. The first day I wore the pants, I realized that someone had ripped the hem out of the left pant leg. When examining it, I determined that the hem had to have been ripped out because there wasn't any stray thread. I had also never had a problem with the hem. My only conclusion was that someone at the tailor ripped out the hem and then realized that I only needed work done in the zipper. I took the pants back to see if they would fix the hem. The owner instantly became defensive. She flat out refused to do anything in spite of the fact that it only could have happened at her store. When I stood my ground, she raised her voice and acted like I was personally attacking her honesty. Find a tailor who understands customer service.
