The cost is about double what the other two shops I use in town charge for hemming a pair of pants. The two who I worked with were incredibly nice, and definitely knowledgeable, they seemed to have a complete grasp on what I wanted. It only took a few days, and they were ready exactly when I was told they would be. They did exactly what I asked, and the pants both look much better on me, the work done was seamless. As far as value, I cannot really speak to that as this is the first tailor I've been to. However, I can say I was quite anxious going into this, and now I'm looking forward to getting more tailoring done by them!

Long story short- bc of my procrastination I requested to have a bridesmaid dress altered two weeks before a wedding. Mary was sooo sweet, thorough and quick. I called Mary in a panic at 11 am the day before the wedding and she got it done before her day ended at 5 and wouldn't let me pay her for it!! . I cannot express how grateful I am for Mary. I'm baffled by some of these comments and honestly I'm wondering if they actually went to a different location, because she is solid. She repaired large off-seam rips in expensive yoga pants and they look fantastic - $17 for the repair vs $120 for a new pair of pants. At times she has told me - "I'm not set up to do this job, but you can take it to XYZ shop and they can help,", which I appreciate. She is professional and I think she does pretty much everything on her own, so if you feel like she isn't being nice enough, maybe she is just in a hurry to get back to work (to be clear, that's *not* my experience at all). I have a ton of respect for this business and she's watching her grandkids at times to boot to help family.
