When I used my mom's wedding dress as my own, my first step was finding the best dry clean and press service in the Twin Cities. With a 40-year old dress for a special occasion, I wanted the best. I called around to a few different bigger name dry cleaning spots, and both admitted they outsourced their wedding dress dry cleaning, pressing, and preservation. Both shared they outsourced specifically to Don's. So I decided to go right to the source - and I'm so glad I did. Their place may not look like much from the outside, but the team inside really cares about the quality of their work. I had my dress first dry cleaned and pressed back in September 2023, and it turned out perfectly. You can tell they take a lot of care and attention to detail with their work. They let me know that they couldn't get one mark off the bottom of the dress' lace trim that wasn't cleaned properly (40 years ago - haha!) and could do another round of cleaning if I wanted to try a harsher remover. They paid attention to every detail. And that's why, when I was preparing to wear my dress again this June for our reception, I knew I'd only go to Don's. They got chocolate cake I'd left on it for 6+ months out like nothing had happened, and it looks good as new. The prices for wedding dress cleaning and pressing are MORE than reasonable - you won't be able to beat it in the metro area for the quality and care they provide. I will be preserving my dress - for another 40 years I hope! - here in July, and recommend them to everyone. They'll be my first stop for any leather and rug needs, too!

The two I could use, same size... one didn't give me the extra rinse I paid for and fished 13 minutes sooner than the other one that did do the extra rinse. Additionally, all three dryers had different temperatures so I had to wait for the hottest one for three different loads. The place is no longer clean. The floor and machines are actually dirty, not dusty, but grime and who knows what else on the floors and the machines. Does anyone know if it's under new management...? Flash forward to almost a year later, and I decided to get my living room rug cleaned as it's been forever since this rug has had proper love. I was informed the rug turnaround time can take 2-4 weeks which I was okay with since Mulberry's sends it out of house. The in house drop off process was easy for this item and I have it flagged on my calendar when it will be ready for pickup. There was a small waiver I had to sign similar to our wedding garments which seems to be standard. The form(s) are quick and most likely required for liability reasons. Overall, I enjoy hours of the Mulberrys shop and the consistency that comes with the great customer service and honesty. I never feel like there are hidden fees or different prices. The website is a helpful guide for those who may need extra guidance before stopping in. The interior of the Grand location is simple, clean and well maintained. When items are done, a call is placed making it convenient to pickup. Additionally, there is an after hours drop box on the exterior of the building. While I have yet to use this feature, I enjoy that it exists. Thank you, Mulberry's on Grand. Bravo!
