You will come in, and still, not a single smile from them. But the rudeness hasn't arrived yet, they will turn mad specially if you put your coat or purse on a table/chair and dance around it. They will claim it's not safe, but the real reason is: they want you to use their cloakroom (£2 per item). I have never ate here, but they do have a menu. Although if it gets as expensive as the entry you should rather spend your pounds in a nice restaurant, and Shoreditch has plenty of options.

Logistically it's annoying, as there is no bar upstairs, so you have to traipse all the way down to the bar, which is around 4 flights of stairs. I can definitely see that being a challenge after a few drinks, so I'd recommend buying a bottle of fizz or getting a couple of drinks to keep you going. The toilets are much the same story - they are at the back of the bar and not very nice at all. They remind me of when you go to a club, towards the end of the night and you are like noooooooo! I have been here many times but recent visits indicate that live music crowds (as opposed to dead) are becoming a rare species in the capital and this has a knock on effect on the overall experience as this kind of venues works a lot better when you are wedged in.Too many venues now for sure. Environment: The Sky Pod is located in the center of the area near the elevators. Place your order at the counter and grab one of the tables or lounge chairs in the area. What was ordered: A pint of Heineken and an Aspall Mulled Cyder. It was my first time trying the mulled cyder and I thought it was pretty tasty. It was sweet, slightly warm with a tangy orange taste. There was also a slice of orange in it. Yay/Nay/Meh: Yay. The Heineken was pretty basic but the cyder was very interesting. The view was also nice but would have been even better if it wasn't gloomy and drizzly; too bad we can't control the weather! A staff member will come by to collect your glass as soon as it's empty. It did take a while to find an empty spot since a lot of people were just sitting around even if they weren't drinking. Other than that, it was a nice experience to have while enjoying the view and the Garden. Credit cards are accepted.
