Great service from our waiter Joe and great veggie pizza and cheesesteak with fried mushrooms!!!

As always, another great Shorebreak experience. Ordered takeout pizzas and large salads for my seven friends who visited the shore house for the day. Pizzas were out of this world as were the plentiful, fresh salad greens. All of the staff goes out of their way to make sure you are happy with the food. Shayna, the awesome young woman at the front counter, always remembers my name and takes a genuine interest in her customers, greeting all with a wide smile. I saw a review on yelp saying the cheese fries and buffalo cheese steak were good so that is what I ordered. The cheese steak was large and amazing. Perfect buffalo sauce/ chicken ratio. The cheese fries were freaking delicious as well. I guess they used cheese whiz on them which made them super unhealthy, but mouthwateringly tasty. I have no idea when the next time I will be back to Avalon, but if I do return I will certainly revisit this place. read more

LOVE this place! Great for lunch or dinner. Lots of choices. Everything here is delicious from salads and sandwiches to entrees. One of my favorite treats are the cheese fries. When we had a home in Avalon, we would eat here up to 3 times a week. Love the atmosphere and have become friendly with many of the waitresses and lovely owners. They even added a "white" option to the menu for us for their Hawaiian red based pizza. The best fish tacos and thin crust pizza we have had. Also love the buffalo chicken cheesesteak and coconut shrimp. BYOB. read more

Wow this place blew my mind. The breakfast burger is unbelievable, I could have ate three. The waitresses have phenomenal service and I cannot wait to go back. I love the surf atmosphere and the idea of BYOB. If I were you, I would start with the truffle fries and finish with the fig or chicken parmesan pizza. Highly recommend! read more

This is an under-rated spot in Avalon. The first time I went here was for a bachelorette dinner. The menu is simple - wraps, sandwiches, but its BYOB which makes it great for a group. They have a nice outdoor area in the back, which is fun to sit back there. It is a little pricy for what you get, but not horrible. Definitely get the crab pretzel! read more

Stopped in for lunch... Overpriced Cheesestake was terrible... Crappy meat. Small portion... Bad taste. Avoid!

Great family place. Service is terrific. Don't forget the Byob. Recommend the fish tacos and a seat by the tv!

Just OK, prefer the old BJs for steak and fries. Had the crab pretzel. Interesting concept but the actual crab dip was must so-so. Steak was good, but it came with a small handful of sun chips. Seemed pretty skimpy. Although spending 5.00 for an order of old bay fries seemed excessive. Service was ok but it took a long time to get our food. Waitress said that the grill was backed up. It was a much nicer atmosphere than BJs though. read more

This is my one of my favorite restaurants on the island!!! The service is quick and everyone is so kind!! I come in with my family and friends. I personally love wings from anywhere, but Shorebreak's homemade house sauce is super super good. read more

This place is small but cute. The food is decent but the staff is nice. They actually put your order in via iPhone, which is quick and accurate. If you are looking for a laid back meal this is the place to go. The waiter was young but still polite and joked with my older father. He was very pleasant. read more

Slow service. Waited 40 minutes for a salad and chicken tenders. Waitress never returned after initial drinks were brought to table. Maybe check in periodically ?? Obviously a family restaurant, but dining room was very noisy. As expected in Avalon, very pricy too. Not a great experience. Probably won't return. read more

Wow, really disappointed with this place on my most recent visit. When this place first opened we had many good experiences and the food always seemed high quality. The last two times (once this week)....I felt like they have definitely switched to inferior ingredients. And $11 for a kids meal?? A tiny grilled cheese that looked pretty gross, small portion of fries and a drink for $11. Not even a side of veggies or apple sauce. You have to choose either fries OR carrots. My sons beef tacos looked awful. They had dried out chip steak meat, very unappealing. The worst part of the meal were my "chicken" quesadillas. There was one or two tiny pieces of chicken on each slice, some slices had no chicken at all, but there was a TON of cheese instead, pretty inexcusable. I should have sent it back or gotten it taken off the bill. It was our last day of vacation and I didnt want to deal with it so I just paid the bill. They will never get my money again in the future. I know there is an outdoor seating area so unfortunately they also always have one or two flies buzzing around. The only reason for the two stars is the waitress was very helpful, nice and sweet. The hostess and everyone who works here is great. The atmosphere is also very cute. Too bad about the food, not fair to the people who work there or the families who come to eat here. read more

My family and I have been coming here for years but I must say the 2016 and 2017 seasons have been a dissapointment. Prices raised unreasonably, a party of 3 with not much food ordered was 68 dollars. Plus, the food itself downgraded. We continue to come here simply because it seems as if its the only casual, good family friendly atmosphere dining experience on the island. Plus the fries are really good. Overall, its extremely overpriced and the past two summer seasons have not been up to par. read more

If you are 15, you will think the food is great. If you have a mature palette, it's horrible. Fries were so salty, service was bad and came with an attitdute (ie Lauren Flaherty as the server), I took a client for a quick meal and I was embarrassed. Stopped in for lunch on our family trip to Avalon. Very welcoming appearance. Smiling hostess who seated us quickly. Attentive and excellent server. Started off with the crab pretzel, and like the other reviewers say, it's delicious. Our family split the pear pizza and the tostada pizza. Both were really good. The menu also had several options for the vegetarian member of our brood, who went with a pasta dish that she was very happy with. Overall it was a great meal. We'll go back. read more

I can't wait to get to Avalon and go to Shorebreak! I really feel the taste of summer there..... In the food and the ambience. The meals are delicious and reasonable and I love that it's BYOB. Sitting outside is my favorite thing, (besides the hoagie dip) and chillin'with friends on their patio. Kids love the surf videos inside.
