Classic cheese pizza, nice crispy crust, good cheese to sauce ratio and great lunch special pricing. $5.99 gets you two cheese slices & a can of soda or bottled water. I also ordered a side of pizza sauce, which was also good. A friendly staff, plenty of inside seating and parking in the lot. This is a definite stop if you are on the way in/out of the Cape May, NJ Ferry terminal area. read more

Just wanted a Sicilian extra cheese pepperoni and received a flat extremely over priced "thick crust" pizza at a whopping $31!! Please look at the pics and tell me that is a Sicilian. Seriously debating to get visa involved. read more

We stumbled upon this place while doing some grocery shopping at Acme. So glad that we did! The restaurant itself is pretty small and seems to do mainly takeout orders. They do have tables available where you can eat in. We were greeted and seated right away. Our waitress was friendly and attentive throughout our time there. They have coolers that contain bottles and cans that you can choose from for your beverage. We ordered a large New York style pepperoni pizza half with peppers on it. It was absolutely delicious! It was cooked just right. The best pizza that I've had in a while. It also reheated well, which is always a plus. I recommend giving this place a try! read more

Italian Affair - Large pepperoni pizza with peppers on half - Italian Near Me - North Cape May, New Jersey

We went to Italian Affair for lunch on a weekend. It wasn't too busy, service was prompt and very friendly. There is seating inside, but not traditional waitress service. You order and pay at the counter, then they will bring the food out as it's done. We ordered: 12" cheese pizza, 6 garlic knots, fried calamari, shrimp basket (not popcorn shrimp, large/full sized shrimp and comes with fries), side order of fries, and 3 cans of soda. Our bill was ~$67 before tip. The food was great. The fried calamari had bits of fried wonton in it, which I was sure of at first, but was actually good. The garlic knots were delicious, definitely homemade and freshly made. The pizza was good, one of the better pies in the county. The fried shrimp was the only thing we probably won't get again, but that's only because we aren't big on seafood. It was good. Also, the marinara sauce is delicious. Heavy on the basil, but very good. read more

Worst service, too rude to customers. Especially when they are locals.. Their prices went up, but the quality of food did not get better.. it sad I have to put a star I would rather do -5 read more

Went in before shopping at acme. Was definitely on the look out for a good local pizza. We ordered the grandma's pie and it was very good. So good that I'd get it again no hesitation. I want to come back and try their regular pizza if they can make a good grandma's pie then they can probably make a good NY style. read more

My grandmother wanted to try them out so we stopped in. It's definitely a small dining area, probably 5 tables max so they probably do a lot of take out. They had a pasta special for 2/$20 in the window. Penne A La Vodka was one of the items offered which is one of my fave dishes when I can find somewhere that offers it. Unfortunately they didn't have it on the regular menu and the employee running the register couldn't find a way to ring it up so that was kind of disappointing. I ordered a chicken Cheesesteak and my grandmother ordered a regular one. Another thing to note is that prices have increased slightly from the paper menus they have on the counter due to rising grocery cost. Not a deal breaker but our 2 Cheesesteaks and 2 cans of coke were $27 I think. The food came out nice and hot so that was a plus. I don't feel like they used much cheese in my Cheesesteak and it didn't seem to have much flavor so I ended up asking for ketchup to doctor it a bit. Also it just felt like it was missing something on the side; maybe a pickle spear, some chips, or fries? As I previously mentioned, the dining area is rather small and can get loud rather easily. The employees were talking in the back and you could hear every word. The lady that rang us up and brought the food out was nice enough but I don't think this is a return spot for me. I would probably rate them 3.5 stars. read more

I went there for lunch on 9/10/2025 at 1:03 pm. I ordered my 2 slices to go and paid for them. I saw the counter/cashier pick up my 2 slices and put them in the oven to be warmed up. This was the first time that I saw her touch the pizza with out using tongs or anything to protect the food from her dirty hands. I let it slip by without saying anything. while she waited for the pizza to get warm, she started playing with her phone. I waited to see how she was going to handle the pizza when it came out of the oven, she slide the pizza into the box and then touched the pizza again to adjust it in the box in order to close the lid. I told her that I didn't want the pizza and give me my money back and she did. I had explained to her my issue and what I saw happen 2 different times with her dirty hands and told her that I won't be coming back and she said okay and I left. She said that she normally uses tongs but this time she didn't. There is no way that I believe that this was the first time. I have eaten there a few times and I was always happy and left feeling good about the place, until now. read more

Pizza couldn't be worse. Not even close to being cooked. I gave it another try after the last pizza which was the same lousy.

Our service was friendly and speedy for our lunch specials. The Plain NY style slices were delicious and crust thin like we love it. Some of the entrees looked pricey but sandwiches and pizza were good buys. The rear of the restaurant was closed for eating lunch but there was plenty of room for eat- in diners. The restrooms were very clean. read more

Ordered takeout specifically 2 personal 12 inch pies. One being a gluten friendly pie and the other being a cheese pie. Once delivered we had realized there was no box marked as gluten free and my daughter is celiac. Unfortunately she was unable to consume said pie because the boxes were not properly marked. So incredibly upset. read more

High quality, quick pace Excellent family run business serving up top notch grub. Love ordering from Italian Affair.

Ambiance- Dining area has definitely gotten a lot smaller over the years and the back are isn't quite as hidden as they'd probably like. I miss it being all open. Food- Consistently really good. The pizza delicious, meals large, the crab bisque is incredible! On the thicker side, which I like, with tons of crab pieces. Service- good. Friendly staff and quick take out. read more

We are from Houston and stopped here on our way to the Ferry. Glad we did! We ordered: Mozzarella sticks, Chicken parm dinner, chicken parm sub, Meatball sub, and 2 slices of cheese pizza. All was delish. But pizza was the best imo. read more

Very busy place with take out orders- we ate in last night. Dining area is small as the back is closed off. Calamari was good, interesting combination with pepperoncini and wontons . Eggplant was not fried crispy- it was soggy as though the oil was not up to temperature. The special of twisted tortellini was good, a little overcooked, the meatballs were tasty . Overall , we would not return for dinner but if we did we would stick to pizza. Most of the staff was pleasant but the server we had was probably the nastiest young girl we have ever had serve us, and we dine out quite a bit. If their goal was to hire a nasty server, I would say they would get 5 stars in that category - but I would give them 3 stars for our meals read more

Ordered delivery through the slice app food never came. Somehow the app says order complete. Guess the delivery driver just decided to keep it like wtf. What a joke. -5 stars read more

Friendly staff very helpful. Excellent pizza grandma pie is the best. Dinners and desserts are very good.

$100 for two apps and three entrees. Calamari was fishy. Typical mass produced calamari rings. Waffle fries were good. Penne with garlic oil had over a cup of oil on it. Or they didn't properly drain the pasta. Pasta Alfredo was like wall paper paste. Meat lovers pizza was good. Stick with the pizza. read more

Best pizza I've had in Cape May. Fairly priced, take out process was easy. Would recommend.

wasn't great pizza. ordered a margarita pizza and it was undercooked, doughy, and had no basil. No good for nj pizza, pass.

Don't bother. The Fettuccini Alfredo was white sauce without the cheese or the cheese was so skimpy you don't know if it was there. I couldn't in good conscious recommend this place. read more

Really good pie. I was more than shocked actually! Lovely little place here in south Jersey that could hold its own with the big guys up north. The toppings, sauce, cheese is all perfect proportions and the crust has the perfect crunch read more

I don't recommend this place at all. The supposed penne ala vodka is NOT vodka sauce at all. Several people in our group had it and no one could eat it. It was like chef boyardee. The calzones are very watery. I called to discuss the matter and was told the penne had the vodka cream sauce which it didn't 100%.. Clearly they don't care about customer satisfaction. Best Italian delivery in Cape May area. The red sauce is terrific, unlike other Italian restaurants, where the sauce is sweet. Pasta options and entrees are a good size, and well worth the money. Delivery is speedy, and food arrives hot. Keep up the good work! read more

Great sauce and pizza with friendly staff. A bit of a scrappy place that prob could use some money on beautification but quality food and generous portions with delicious deserts will probably have us going back again. Love their $5 lunch specials and happy owlearly bird menu. read more

We are from Virginia Beach. We chose this restaurant because he had everything we were looking for for our party of 7. The staff is incredibly friendly & the food was AMAZING!!!!! My 8 year old made friends with the pizza guy who gave him dough to play with. He then made a pizza with it. my son was so excited!! My daughter got a fresh filled cannoli & said "this is the best cannoli I have ever had!" Which is saying a lot! I highly recommend paying them a visit! read more

Solid pizza...I judge a place by its plain pie. Nice crust, nice sauce, nice cheese to sauce ratio. The grandma pie is awesome- thick, square, margarita style pizza. We have also gotten it bruschetta style with raw tomato, balsamic, and basil. It was delicious. We live in Court House. So, running down there is a hike. That being said, the pizza is worth it. read more

I am absolutely disgusted with the treatment I have received. I work in food/customer service, so I absolutely can understand accidental miscommunication. The driver was kind and we had no issue, the issue is with whoever is answering those phones. I called at 9:00pm and placed an order. I was told it would be about 15 minutes, which makes sense seeing as I am in cape may and this location is in north cape may. 50 minutes later I called three times. They close at 10:00pm. Nobody answered. I'm assuming they blocked that number, so I then used a different one and asked about my order. They attempted to gaslight me by saying they called multiple times to let me know it would be late. There were no call notifications. The woman over the phone (same one as first time I called) proceeded to get passive aggressive and blame me for the issue. I was just asking if my order would be coming or not, so I could order elsewhere if needed? I was completely flabbergasted with the way I was treated. I know work is hard, but I deserve respect as a paying customer. I don't believe in "the customer was always right" but do NOT talk down to me. read more

Their pizza and wings are the best. Delivery and service is excellent... food is always hot.

On vacation at a hotel in Cape May. We ordered delivery at 7:50 via yelp with delivery through Grub Hub. Food arrived at 9:30. In between there was no update or communication about status. When we checked the status of order it would just say the same thing. We called Yelp at 9pm and they said the driver was on the way. This would have been fine had we received the drinks and the parm cheese we ordered and plastic ware. Pretty tough to eat spaghetti without utensils. The food was bland. When we called about drinks they said they would send the driver back. It is 10:30 and we still have no drinks. Just called to cancel the drinks - they are closed and not answering the phone. Update: driver just arrived with drinks while we were on the line with Grub Hub. Grub Hub was very helpful and credited us $10. read more

I understand the current climate, however $30 for one (1) cold pizza and wings that take an hour and forty minutes to arrive via delivery is not acceptable Tip - pay cash That way you have the option to refuse the order. I paid and tipped - credit. Did not feel like going through the aggravation of canceling. Pizza was not good read more

My family and I took our usual trip to Cape May and on the drive down wanted to make a quick stop for food. We did our usual Yelp research and saw that Italian Affair was on the way to our destination and in the same lot as a Supermarket, which was a bonus because we always need to pick up some provisions. My wife and daughter started with the Italian Wedding soup and they made quick work of it. For our entree we ordered a pepperoni pie. The pizza was made to perfection. The crust was crispy but not burnt and the sauce had a slight sweetness that gave it some extra flavor. To demonstrate how good it was, we had an 8 slice pie between the 3 of us and we did not need a to go box. I highly recommend this place for any people that are local or are traveling down from the NYC area like myself. read more

They have amazing pizza! Their crust is so tasty and their garlic knots are to die for. Definitely would recommend for pizza takeout.

I'm shocked that this place has such a low review. Everything we have ordered has been fresh, hot and delicious. The only reason we don't go more often is that it's a drive for us. read more

When you don't know where else to go, but you're looking for a decent meal. Italian Affair is always there for you. My Summer house is just up the road so we frequent here constantly in the summer and occasionally order take out. -- It's located in a strip mall and has literally been there for as long as I can remember. I don't think I have ever had to wait for a table, but a Friday / Saturday night here is always crowded. The place itself is pretty out dated. Definitely could use a pick me up, but the food has always been consistent even through the years. Go to's: Spaghetti and Meatballs (their sauce is great with so much flavor and the portion is pretty big), My husband loves their chicken parmigiana (again portion is pretty big), not for me at all but my dad and sister love the speghetti and clams too! Also in a previous visit, when I was on a diet restriction they listened carefully and made my dish with care. Hoping this place always remains a comfort spot for my family and I and it never goes anywhere! read more
