We had the meal that came with spam brûlée musubi, kimochi butter shrimp, and a drink. We asked to substitute the rice for mac salad and the drink for the mint peach limeade. The food was so good; fresh and flavorful. The shrimp was crisp and yummy. The mac salad was tasty to with tuna and noodles cooked perfectly. The drink was good but had a little fermented flavor. Katsu chicken sando with mac salad in it: genius. Came on a Sat in Aug, and it was one of the busier spots in Rodeo 39. The #2 with 2 katsu chicken sandos, 2 brulee spam musubis, and a drink was a great deal at $20.49 (only about 2.50 more than not getting the second sando), and they let us do one spicy, one regular! Sandwiches were tasty but felt quite greasy as leftovers. Spam brulee was not too salty compared to most and had a delightful char. Strawberry pineapple lemonade was just okay (kind of tasted like pink gummi or some kind of candy). I love the cute cartoon pineapple with subtle pink decor and simple menu (as noted by the bf). We enjoyed the warm summer night outdoor dining complete with TVs playing the Olympics and a mini arcade next to the bar/brewery place. Just beware that some games were not working (blue shooter) and the Ninja Turtles game didn't let you add money to continue playing :/. Little spot inside the gastro food court/bar that was hidden in the back but great flavor. Island cuisine that was worth the drive. We had Shootz cater one of our events at the high school I work at and it was a big hit. I was surprised with how many people had already eaten their food before and how excited they were about the luncheon. Way better than ordering pizza or tacos. The macaroni salad and the chicken were absolutely delicious and it helped with meeting our protein goals. Anyway, we'll definitely be ordering through them again before the school year is out. What we ordered ~ Kimchi Butter Katsu Chicken sandwich is cooked to perfection. The spicy and regular can't really taste a difference. Spicy isn't spicy at all. If you're able ti eat hot Cheetos. These are comparable to spice level. Love the macaroni salad in the burger. It's a whole different level of Sandwich. Their best seller. Service was fast & friendly. It's not the same. I ordered the same thing I ordered before I stopped going here. The shrimp is 1/10th of the size, the rice was okay, and the mac salad was bland as usual. The shrimp was fired in a batter and taste like Popeyes butterfly shrimp with some chili oil on it. WTH is this, the 6 pieces of shrimp use to fill the plate and it tasted better. The cashier today 12/22/25 at around 1:45-2:00 was extremely low energy and on top of that, they didn't have the chicken katsu that I was originally there for. When I had arrived at the cashier she was reading a book and to simply put it, it felt like she didn't want to take care of me. She was raving about it and when we ate lunch together, she wanted to go back. My boyfriend and I ordered the kimchi butter chicken katsu plate and sandwich along with the kimchi butter shrimp plate. Personally, I love a good sandwhich but my boyfriend always likes his katsu with rice. The chicken is crispy and well seasoned and you can choose spicy or regular. The spicy isn't too hot in my opinion so so usually order that. Between the chicken and the shrimp I like the chicken best, but they're both worth a try. For musubis, I got the spam brûlée which has the most creamy and delicious sauce on top with a nice torch to it. At the time, they were out of the honey coconut shrimp, but I think they're removing that from the menu anyways. Super great flavors overall. You gotta check this place out! read more

I did not expect to love this as much as I did. I feel like with all of the other Rodeo 39 restaurants I've tried, some of the food has been very...okay. But this place has become my absolute favorite. There wasn't very many people working, so we waited a little while for the food, but the cashier was very sweet to me and my best friend and gave us advice about what to order. I also thought it funny there wasn't a longer line there because this is literally the best restaurant at Rodeo 39. I ordered the Spam Brûlée Masubi, Kimchi Butter Shrimp Plate and the Mint Peach Lemonade. The lemonade was a little too on the sweet side for me and the masubi was really good, but the PLATE. OOF. Omg, you are PUNCHED with flavor. The spicyness, the texture, the sweet and savoriness, it's all there. The mac salad was even good and I'm not a big mac salad person.
