A little hole in the wall... initially saw a review for the one in HB... But this one was closer so tried them out. First, lemme say, I really liked their chicken teriyaki! I got the large chicken w veggie plate- I loooooove that they give soooo much veggies! Half the plate is veggies. Everything tasted delicious. My little wanted eggrolls- they were decent... perfect for a kid but not for me. Their miso soup was surprisingly flavorful and large! Ended up taking a lot of food home. My only real complaint is the store smells like bathroom cleaner- which I suppose means they clean... but it's so strong I can barely smell my food... it would definitely improve the whole experience. I went with the large option, which included a lot of food. Maybe for two individuals or as leftovers. The personnel is kind, and the facility is very clean. There is an adequate number of seats. Yamashita Teriyak or just Yamas is much more than just a plate. The spicy pork was a great surprise and cravable. It was spicy but not super hot. It tastes like it was grilled outside with a hint of smoke flavor. I can't stop eating the large plate. I know I am full but I want more of that spicy smoky goodness. The teriyaki chicken and beef were also great quality meat and flavor. The tsunami fries were different and we didn't think they would work so we ordered just to experiment. The tsunami fries are something different and very ridiculous,I highly recommend. I would highly recommend stopping in and having a bowl or plate. They also have tempura and a couple sushi rolls. We had the crunch roll and it was excellent. We will definitely return. The seating is about seven tables of four. We arrived and they had a couple guests at two tables and all of a sudden, after we ordered, the line was five deep and almost every table was taken.
