I visited this Shoeteria store recently and had a very bad experience. I was trying to find a pair of work boots and the lady working that day was very rude. She had an attitude and was not very helpful. I did not get a name but she had red hair and had tattoos. I asked for 2 sizes on a pair of shoes and she said she only had one pair. And I ended up getting the bigger size anyways. Next thing you know, my friend goes back to the store the next day and lo and behold they had the size I was looking for. I felt that she was just too lazy to look for the other size and just gave me the other one. She just had this b****** attitude about her. It made for a very unpleasant experience at this Shoeteria. I hope management reads this and does something to change this customer service. I surely will bring my service elsewhere next time I look for shoes. read more

No one should shop here at all. My experience with the girl with the red bright hair was the worse. It didn't seem like she was interested in helping me out or anyone else. Plus she was talking shit about customers to her coworkers & didn't seem to care that we were there. Also she was saying to her coworker that she couldn't believe he had patience with the customers. What poor customer service they have here. They should fire that red headed girl for not caring. Shop at Red Wings instead. read more

Had a great experience here at shoeteria thank you Anthony V for the great service and Kidsta I will be back soon

My boyfriend and I entered and we were greeted immediately. We looked around for a second then we were approached my a sales associate, she was friendly and not pushy. She tended to our needs and we left happy. Thank you read more

Just left the store for the second time without being able to return the boots my husband bought. They wouldn't let me return the shoes for a credit back to the credit card which was used to purchase the shoes. Since my husband had purchased them he needed to be there to return them. I wish I had been told this the first time I went when I mentioned my husband had purchased them originally. I will never go back there. read more

Thanks for the great experience, I visited here with my cousin and got her some shoes the sales associate kidist helped me a lot and was helpful. will definitely suggest this for other people read more

I went here on a Friday and found just the boot I wanted. They even had it in Extra Wide! Taylor helped me and she was very friendly, and mentioned they had a great sale going so I decided to get a second pair. She had pointed out the boots were a great price so all was good. She and another girl went to ring it up and it turns out it had been mis-marked, but they agreed to sell them at that price since that's the law. They couldn't do it without the manager so I had to come back the next day (No store should have to wait for this). I showed up the next day and the red-haired young lady made me show a photo of the price. I had fortunately taken one and she was very pissed. She made it known that I was getting everyone in the store in trouble. HOW RUDE!!! So unprofessional. She angrily rang it up and repeated that everyone in the store would get in trouble. I replied that we are all human. If I ever see her again I will walk out and shop elsewhere. 15 years a customer, but I should never be treated that way. Not getting my money if she is there. read more

WOW!!! Please save yourself the time and money and never go here! So I placed an order online for a birthday present and received it in time. Everything was great until my boyfriend wore the shoes once and the sole came out! You could actually see the cotton under the sole in the left shoe. So I went to this store to exchange the shoes, my boyfriend loved them and wanted the same pair. They were so rude, one lady was actually looking at her nails the entire time I was talking to her. They rudely told me they couldn't help me because if they ordered the shoes they could be broken again and they did not want to deal with it. They gave me a card to a customer service to call and have them help me. I contacted the online customer service and they said I cant have 15% back and keep the broken shoes or I could send the shoes back re-buy them and they would refund my money after they got the shoes. I didn't appreciate the way they took their time to get back to me and when they did it was abrasive and rude. They treated me like this was my fault and I was trying to get a free pair of shoes which was not the case at all! I just wanted shoes that were not broken, like you would expect from any store. I tried to reorder the shoes and they were out of stock. After complaining they said they are no longer giving me a refund, even after I told them I will have to pay to get them fixed. This entire process has been terrible and going on for over a month, save your cash and a headache and go somewhere that knows how to treat customers! read more

Totally agree with grace k. The customer service is awful and you can never return anything without having to buy something from them. Once they have your $, you'll be forced to spend it there whether or not they can accomodate your needs. I received a gift that was purchased there, and the box contained two right shoes. So to the store my friend and I went to get a left shoe. Left shoe was found after waiting a long time. Was too small - whereas the right shoe was a fit, so the next size up was suggested. Not in stock. So, all you get is store credit. NO REFUNDS! The associate said she would call her boss, and called whoever she called saying she was calling her boss and was told no refunds. I could have gone somewhere else and get some of these shoes, since they're sold all over the place, BUT NO!!!!! Once you drop a dime there, they're not going to let go of it! Ended up getting the taller version of the boot and friend paid the difference. I just wanted to never have to come here again. Oh, and the music sucked and was blaring. Now this is how bright the associates were: They sell work shoes, boots, uniforms, etc, catering to people who spend a lot of money on work footware. Face, it, good quality work boots certainly are not cheap. I walked into that store wearing a pair of $180 work shoes. Red Wings. Now they don't sell Red Wings here, but a quality shoe is hard to miss, right? Their policy on no refunds just cost them any business they may have had from me. I'll never shop there again. Shop Amazon or Zappos online and you will have a better experience than you will have here. read more

LITTLE TO NONE CUSTOMER SERVICE! Everyone has those moments where we go "man, I made the poorest decision doing [insert any event where you feel regret]", unfortunately, I made one of those decisions on 9/4/11. Let me give you the break down: 1. the shoe selection is microscopic, granted it is a small facility. 2. shoes are overpriced -- and $12 for 6 pair of socks?!? 3. as mentioned above, no customer service at all... how would you feel when your teller was on the phone while finalizing your transaction? So I bought these pair of shoes, and I realize if I could wait a couple of days, I could have gotten better and cheaper pairs of kicks. So I decided to go back to the store to return them. To my surprise I was brushed off by an employee because their unwillingness to help, who had no idea to the meaning of customer service, had every excuse for every question I had. "The manager is not in" How can you not have a supervisor or manager on site during business hours? And to display the store policy under a muggy glass counter top, where consumers have to place above (because there is no other available space to place your product) how can a customer be aware of the store policy? So I place the shoes I didn't want above the store policy and said, look how it covers the policy because you can not place it anywhere else. The employee brushes off a clutter of things off the surface and slides the shoes over, "now you can see the store policy." I was dumbfounded, absolutely amazed how one person can be so incompetent, and two how I received no apology. I was told to come back when the manager would be on site. So I went with high expectations because managers are usually more level headed, boy I was wrong. Same excuses, as if I was listening to a repeating broken record. She claim to have verbalized the store policy, WHILE ON THE PHONE, how is that possible? To save you all the trouble, follow these steps to avoid frustration: 1. Don't shop here if you are 1000000000000000000000000% sure you are going to keep some overpriced shoes. 2. If you have money to blow 3. Shop online. read more

I had the worst experience at this store and I will not be returning. The customer service is atrocious! My mom and I were shopping for very specific leather shoes from the SAS shoe company. At no point of us arriving were we greeted or acknowledged by anyone in the store and no one was even in the showroom. The two associates were in the back room having a conversation that was very loud and very obviously not worked related. Finally, a young Hispanic guy, most likely in his early twenties, came out of the stock room and walked right by us and said nothing to us. No "can I help you?" No hello. Nothing. My mom said "Excuse me. Can you help us?" He shrugged and sauntered over very slowly like he could care less. My mom asked for her size and then I also asked to see the same pair in my size. He was sure they didn't have it. I asked him if he could please just take a look and check for me. He did and they did have my size!! Well, kind of. My foot has grown since having a baby so I asked for the next size up and he was positive they didn't have it. OK, well, can you order it for me, I asked. He said yeah, but it will take 3 weeks! He had this attitude and a smirk on his face like it pained him to have to go walk 10 feet into the stock room and then walk another 10 feet to the computer to place an order. He just didn't want to help us. So I got on my phone and pulled up the SAS website and found the shoes in my size and my mom's and ordered them. 4 days later, they arrived! It took me 5 minutes to research and put in my billing info. I felt at many times I should hop behind the register and do the work myself. This guy was utterly useless and is getting paid to do nothing more than carry on conversations with his coworkers that are inappropriate and not related to the work place. The music they had blaring was loud rap and I didn't appreciate my one year old having to listen to it. The bad language featured in the songs was totally not necessary for us to have to hear. He never even bothered to look up ordering the shoes for me. Totally useless and a waste of time. I'll never go back. DSW and other stores are far better. The customer service, or lack thereof, and crappy attitudes are things I don't need as a customer. I hope the district manager or corporate reads this review and fires the entire staff. They clearly need new people who really want to work hard and not loaf around! read more

I have to contradict the review of the previous person. I go to this here often and my experiences at this retail store are always very pleasant, actually. The employees are very informative and friendly. And unlike many other stores, they actually prepped the shoes before handing it to me (fixing laces and making sure there wasn't stuffing inside). Some of them even recognize me right when I walk in. One time when they didn't have my size in the Converse I wanted, they offered to order it into the store so I can take advantage of their promotion. I will definitely continue to visit this store. Yeah, their store policy of no refunds was a little distressing but I was glad that they told me this before they completed my transaction. I know of many other stores that have a similar policy and won't tell me this (Forever 21, for example). Besides, even if they didn't tell me verbally about the policy, they were posted on the wall behind the register and on the counter as well as circled on the bottom of my receipt. I understand they are doing this NOT because of a devious motive against me as a customer; I understand that they are simply following the rules set for them by their company. read more

I give the store ZERO stars based on one employee. I have been in this location twice now to buy shoes. Both times I was ready to buy and they had the pair I wanted but I got up and walked out in the middle of my visit because the girl who works there is such a rude and awful person!!! She has thick black roots and bright red hair ends and she appears to maybe be the manager. The second time I returned I was hoping she wouldn't be there so I could finally buy the shoes I wanted, yet she in fact was there and made my shopping experience very unpleasant just as she had the first time. So once again I left the store in the middle of shopping and now I will never go back and I will urge others not to shop there as well. There's no way I will give that store one single penny as long as she is the representative! What an awful customer service girl. She should be fired! SHOP ELSEWHERE PEOPLE!!! read more
