I got 3 confirmation emails and emails saying my order was ready for pick up. When I get to the store, the employee said she was having a hard time fining my order and asked for assistance from other staff. I showed proof of confirmation and all the emails they had sent & even saw my item behind the counter. It was frustrating but I understood with it being the holidays. Everything got worse once they called the manager, Irene. Irene did not come to speak to me first and instead spoke about me to the coworkers and asked "is she even in the right store? Did she even pay for the item?". She then came to me with an attitude saying she had no idea where my order was and had no explanation for why it's not there. When I pointed to the merchandise behind the counter she said those weren't for me. I told her how unfair it was that other people had their merchandise ready for pick up and mine was nowhere to be found even though it was paid for, confirmed, and "ready for pick up". All she kept saying was that she had no idea what to tell me and kept insisting to buy a different item or get a refund. I told her I didn't want any of those options & wanted the item I had already purchased. She was NO help and made the situation worse. When I got to the cashier, Jaylene asked what I needed help with, and I explained the situation. She told me I could not receive a gift card and that the only option was a return, which would send the money back to the original purchaser. Another employee, who was helping a different customer, stepped in and correctly explained that I was able to receive a gift card since I had the gift receipt. Despite this, Jaylene said no and insisted it wasn't possible. She was very rude throughout the interaction and spoke as if she knew more than everyone else, even though she was incorrect about a basic store policy. She eventually did process the gift card. I want to thank the other employee who actually knew the policy and helped fix the situation. Customer service like this made a simple exchange annoying to go through.
