Once upon a time I used to work for one of these establishments, but that was decades ago, freshly out of college and miles away. I knew what to expect when I entered here and I knew exactly what to look for, at least for myself. While my friends were over looking at the women's section I went about and searched what was available for me. I really wasn't seeing much that caught my eye, but what I did, was mostly the clearance items. Which translates into that it might be the only shoe left in that selection. Honestly, each shoe I took to the associate they only had a few sizes left. I knew they weren't lying about that having worked in one. When you have a shoe on clearance you only have a few sizes left of it and you kind of come to know that size until it is gone. But man, that was always the case. I didn't see anything else that caught my eye and my friends were done looking as well. At that point we thanked the associates that helped us and moved onto the next store.

She asked me if I was looking for anything specific I told her walking shoes then she took me to the 3-D foot scanner. She showed me the shoes a scanner recommended. She chose the number one on the list. so she brought out my size which is 8 1/2, they didn't fit. They were too big so then she brought out 8s and same thing 7 1/2 were slightly better just in case she brought out 7s. They were too tight so I went with 7 1/2... the thing that I liked about it was that she was always by my side and asking questions. I would definitely go back to that store. The only thing I did not like is that she never mentioned the price.

The staff made sure to let us know they were there if we had any questions. Why my husband was looking over the hats I checked out what the store carried. The store is very clean and organized. The staff was friendly and helpful not only to us but the other customers that walked in after us. My husband made his purchase, 3 hats. He was pleased with the purchase and found them to be a fair price. It was quite a ways to visit this location. I've been shopping at Athleta for over 10 years. I've found that their clothes usually fit me well,…read moreare reasonably comfortable and stylish, and are well-made. Athleta is one of the four main brands that Gap owns (Gap, Athleta, Old Navy and Banana Republic), and as a result, their customer service and return policies have always been solid. I also appreciate that Gap is based in California. I popped into the Fashion Valley location today, with the intention of looking for for some summery casual pants and possibly some new t-shirts. The store was nicely organized and the displays were welcoming. Sally provided excellent customer service from start to finish as well, and I was very impressed with her upbeat personality and kindness. Thanks for being a day brightener, Sally! I tried on a couple of things, and decided on some cute black pants with a white stripe. Super comfortable and flattering on. The other stuff I tried on was either cut a little weirdly for my shape, or too small. But, I'm happy with my pants. Athleta tends to be a little bit less costly than Vuori & Lululemon and not as pretentious, although their prices still skew on the higher side for athleisure in general. So while I do shop at all of these stores, I find the experience to be the most pleasant at Athleta. Mahalo!

Andrea was incredibly knowledgeable about the product lines and helped me find the perfect pieces for my active lifestyle. She offered great suggestions based on my needs without being pushy, and her enthusiasm for the brand was contagious. Bella was equally attentive and went above and beyond to check the back for sizes and even helped me coordinate different pieces together. What really stood out was how both Andrea and Bella balanced being helpful without hovering they gave me space to browse but were there instantly when I needed assistance. Their genuine friendliness and product expertise made what could have been a quick shopping trip into an enjoyable experience. The store itself is beautifully organized and well-stocked on the upper level of Fashion Valley, conveniently located near the dining terrace. But honestly, it's employees like Andrea and Bella who make Athleta stand out from other activewear stores in the area. They're clearly passionate about what they do, and it shows in the quality of service they provide. I'll definitely be back, and I highly recommend stopping by and asking for Andrea or Bella if you want a personalized, pressure-free shopping experience! @neeks93 on insta
