Based on what I was seeing for best fish fry's in Door County, I had high hopes for this restaurant. Being a Wisconsinite, I definitely would not go back for the Friday night fish. It wasn't horrible but I think there is better to be had for your money. Note: seafood chowder was delicious read more

Food was sub par. Tartar sauce had a weird cinnamon undertone for the fish fry. The pork had so much liquid smoke it tasted like a very gasoline flavor scotch. Firecracker. Fish dip appetizer had no flavor at all and the chips they served were slightly burnt. Would not recommend eating here. The Mezzanine next door was a better experience food wise. read more

I'll add another three-star review. Service was good. Beer was mediocre - I've had so much better in Wisconsin. Ordered a sample of four ($8) none were worth paying for a full glass. Food was okay but overpriced. I don't need to go back. read more

I didn't go into the restaurant expecting anything great but I was more disappointed than I thought I would be. The food was mediocre at best and the service was very slow. We were all really irritated by the time we left the restaurant. I wouldn't return. read more

Second night dinner.. we were tired from a hike, and I thought my order is not bad and I will order it again given the chance if ever we come back. My husband's order is ok he said. His beer order was different from what he was given, he didn't say anything or ask for a replacement because it was so good. Customer service is fine I thought. read more

Nice atmosphere and food is very standard, nothing special. We had the Fisherman's Favorite (no tartar sauce???) and the Cherry Pecan Salad (with a hair???). When brought to the waiter's attention, after eating 1/2 the salad, he asked if we were sure it came from the kitchen. My wife has blonde hair and this hair was black. Look. We're not looking for a free handout here and just bringing up that my wife had eaten half the salad to find a hair in it. He did give us his discount and I still tipped him more than what he would've normal got from me at the regular price. I guess I'm just peeved at his comment. We won't be back. read more

We went for beer, since it's the original Door County craft brewery. The beer is just ok. The Oktoberfest and Flanders Red were decent. The porter and pumpkin fell short. We sat at the bar. My wife had a cherry mimosa hard cider which was delicious a. It's a beautiful building, rebuilt after being lost to fire in 2017. Harbor views from the spacious second floor. My favorite spot on our trip to Door County. My family of 5 and I wanted to make sure it wasn't crazy busy on the patio (wanted to social distance) so we dropped by for dinner at 8:30pm and was steamed right away with not many people around us. Love having Door County wines in the menu - ordered a bottle to split with my husband. I had the Cajun shrimp Alfredo - OMG YUM YUM YUM! I wish I could have this for dinner every day. I loved the noodles, tons of shrimp and amazing flavor. My husband got the meatloaf and fell in LOVE! Helped that the server was super passionate about the meatloaf and recommended that he get extra BBQ sauce on the side. My son got the fish & chips. Wonderful sized fried fish. Huge portions. I will definitely come here again on our next trip. Also... the sunset over Lake Michigan was magical. read more

Great location right across the street from the marina. We've been here a few times throughout the years. Food is good. Our waitercwas excellent Not sure why the hostess was really unfriendly and rolled her eyes when I said thanks for the table. read more

Stopped here later in the evening and ordered a turkey wrap and fries to go. Fries were delicious! Well seasoned. Crispy, potatoey on the inside. Wrap was good- could have used more sauce, but I like sauce. read more

We are on vacation from San Diego visiting relatives in Door County and we ate at Shipwrecked last night. Our server was Mark Lee and he made some excellent recommendations. We started with the cheese curds and they were delicious. My husband ordered the special of the night which was meatloaf with cherry BBQ sauce, mashed potatoes green beans and broccoli - he thoroughly enjoyed the meal. I ordered the pulled pork with the cherry BBQ sauce and it was delicious. For dessert we all shared the bread pudding with dark chocolate and cherries- the portion was more than generous and it was heavenly! Mark was so welcoming and he checked on us frequently. He was quick in bringing us extra sauces, drink refills, etc. We spoke with Joe the manager at the end of the evening and he was very friendly. He chatted with us about the restaurants history and menu items and thanked us for having dinner at Shipwrecked. I would highly recommend dining there and look forward to returning on future vacations. read more

I do not get all these negative reviews. We were here today (Fathers Day) and the food was delicious! We started with cheese curds and all had a variety of other things like the pulled pork, beer cheese and mac, club wrap, etc. All of it was very good! Got seated quickly. Service was also very good. Server was attentive. Definitely give it a chance. We're glad we did! read more

Nice patio for outside dining. Our server was attentive and efficient. Burger was pretty average, just a thin pattie. The Door County Whitefish with veggies and potatoes was quite good. Would not necessarily return. read more

We have seen mixed reviews, but we really enjoyed our dinners. We sat outside. Our waiter was very nice. We tried the cod fish fry, perch fish fry and the ahi tuna. All were really good. This is one of the very few restaurants that are open throughout the week and closes at 10pm. That's really needed given how much there is to do in Door County. Not everyone is ready to have dinner at 5pm. This was a nice option. read more

Whole experience was meh. Among other things, the pulled pork sandwich was cold. Below average food quality and inflated prices. If your kid gets a refill on soda they have on tap, you get charged. Who charges for soda refills? Walk up the block to one barrel. It will be crowded for a reason. Read the reviews for both places, make an informed decision. Don't walk away like us, feeling disappointed. read more

Great location. Stopped on a Sunday for food and drinks. Sat at the bar. Initially intended to spend several hours there to watch football and therefore, would have been a good chunk of change spent there, however, Subpar service and DIRTY, so after one drink order we left. While visiting Door County recently, my husband and I stopped by Shipwrecked for lunch. Our server was a young man from Romania who couldn't have been more knowledgeable and efficient, as well as friendly. We really enjoyed talking with him. And then there was the food! I love seafood and I ordered beer battered shrimp. This dish was some of the finest shrimp I have EVER had! We will definitely return to Shipwrecked! read more

Here we are again. I have regrets. Still kid-friendly, but the food was...not good. The chowder made my iron stomach kiddo feel sick all night, and the burgers we ordered were absolutely tasteless and so disappointing. My cherry wheat beer was just average. The fries were good. Sigh. read more

Had tuna sandwich with a side salad which was pretty good. My friend has the veggie burger and it was very dry. It took quite a bit to feed the table but there was also 13 people so we understood for the most part. I'd eat here again, just gotta watch what you order. Our waitress was super sweet and friendly. read more

Wonderful place that is open daily (even on Easter when everything else was closed). Ambiance - awesome. HUGE two floor restaurant that is shipwrecked theme with a fireplace and big windows on the second floor. Food and drink - Food was solid (3.5/5). We got the buffalo chicken drumsticks which were great. Clam chowder was creamy just the way I like it. The crabcake sandwich was also good but I don't really love crab so I'm not sure why I ordered it... however if you like crab cakes then you will like it more than I did. Standard American food/seafood. I did not order a drink but the bar is fully stocked and microbrews are a highlight here! Parking - street parking is available all around the restaurant. It was quiet when I was there (off season Door County) so I cannot tell you if parking is difficult during the busy season. read more

I hadn't been back to Shipwrecked since 2016, and I was devastated to hear that the ole place had caught fire and burned down. Finally I make it back here all these years later and the food is better than ever and the renovations are gorgeous! Love the new second floor with a great Harbor view! read more

First visit here (7-12-21). We stopped in from seeing the location on the docu-series "Haunted State". First off the Polka King Porter (Door County Brewery) was awesome. All the food that passed by looked awesome as well. We had fish and chips ,tasty. We sat inside as the patio was busy. Service was good even though the restaurant was busing in general. This is a safe bet for dining. Defiantly we'll come back again. read more

Loaded beer cheese soup was so salty it was inedible. Cherry salad and fish tacos were very good though. Friendly staff.

No place to park. Food over priced. And getting the food is slow. Good idea on the decor, but needs to have water around the building to make it real. This place just Not for me. read more

Wish I would have read the reviews beforehand. Food was hot, but awful. Wife couldn't even finish her plate after a couple of bites. Fish sandwich was less than ideal and the bread was stale and crumbly. As someone who frequents door county regularly I will not be returning. Waiter & staff were friendly. read more

The chicken wings are full drumsticks, super moist and excellent! My 23 yr old said she go back the next day just to eat the wings again!

The service and food were terrible. We ordered the chicken drummies and a burger, both were extremely over cooked and dry. Our waitress never refilled our water and came to our table maybe twice. The restaurant was practically empty so she wasn't even busy. Overpriced, save your money and go somewhere else. read more

My wife and I attended ShipWrecked Pub for lunch and some brews. We had a great experience with some delicious food and beers, excellent bartenders. We had the smoked chicken dummies and highly suggest them. Also the bartender recommended the Seafood Chowder and we ordered a cup, wow excellent choice. We would definitely recommend this pub if your visiting the Egg Harbor location. read more

We were in town and tried this place. We ordered all burgers for our dinner as a family. Cool place and looked promising. Ambiance was great. Now as for the burgers.....Burgers were bland and worst of all burnt. Im not talking burnt like charred but remember the guy from beetlejuice at the end that ask for a smoke? (See photo) Like that burnt. The cows baby calf was presumably burnt as well as how bad they cooked it. I dont know what they were thinking or decided to have a smoke break while the flame was set to hell fire but it came out bad. Be warned of them. Also took forever to get our food to go. Fries were decent but to charge that much for craptastic burger is outrageous. That is all. Place is packed bc of drinks and beer which were good. read more

The place has rebuilt! It's wonderful! The beer is just as good as before. It's more of a brew-house appeal now whereas it used to be a grandmas house look (which a lot f places still look like up there). Will stop every time we drive through. Love this place. read more

My wife and I had lunch here today. I ordered what was called on the menu a haddock beer battered sandwich. It should have just been called a beer batter sandwich. The batter was so thick on the fish that I tasted absolutely no fish. There was just an overwhelming beer batter that was thick and overpowered the delicate fish. Add to that a plain soft bun. I cut some of the batter off the fish, and the fish by itself had no seasoning or flavor. What a disappointing sandwich. Add the side which were chips, which also had no flavor, and the meal was a lost cause. The chef should learn how to season even a lowly fish sandwich and a few chips. read more

We happened upon this place on our way back to our RV after a day in Door County and it didn't look busy. I was excited to find an elevator to take us to the second floor to watch the sunset. We split a house salad, which was quite large and tasty. After that we each ordered the seafood chowder, which we heard was good. The bowls were large and it was one of the best chowders I've ever tasted. I'm so glad I set my no dairy diet aside for the evening! It was truly amazing. The service was excellent and the staff were all wearing masks, although very few patrons were. read more

My parents and I came here on a day trip around Door County. We were hungry, we saw the sign, we stopped. And we were not disappointed. My dad and I each got a beer sampler. The Cherry Wheat was delicious and I ended up buying a 6-pack. My mom and I shared the loaded pretzel appetizer which was fantastic. Then she and I shared the Rooster Mac & Cheese (wow! fabulous) and one of the barbeque sandwiches (also very good). Our waitress was attentive and helpful in offering suggestions. It was a nice (fantastic) change from our usual Door County food stop, Al Johnson's. read more
