We have used Shipman twice now and both times they have exceeded our expectations. Aaron and his partner Jonny are so knowledgeable and professional. I spent the better part of 20 years in the apartment industry and have worked with dozens of different carpet vendors and these guys hands down surpass all of the others. Since the service was in my home versus work my expectations were much higher and they delivered! I think it's important to say that no matter how good the carpet vendors, they can't work miracles so if you are expecting someone to rehab severely pet damaged carpet or heavy stains due to fabric paint that your teen daughter got all over them you have to be realistic. Aaron and Jonny actually removed way more of the aforementioned carpet paint than I was expecting. These guys are the best for sure. Also, they are very good at communicating their ETA prior to arrival so there is no surprises. I am guessing that this is due to their awesome office person Jenny. I've been using them since they started the company which seems like a long time ago. They were to arrive between 12 and 2, they texted at 12:15 said they were on their way; they stayed until 4. They cleaned all the rugs and all the tile. They did an absolutely wonderful job. the guys were very professional, polite friendly and very concerned about doing everything the right way. The crew was great and professional. I think this company would be great for a house that just needs a light cleaning. My house had some pretty serious staining that I was told couldn't be removed. After the shipman crew left I used the product they left with me and actually got out many of the stains that I was told could not be removed. I'm unsure if this is because they were not pre-treated at all, the price I paid didn't warrant the extra effort to try to get them out, or the capability just wasn't there to handle this type of job. read more

Shipman came out to clean a few of my area rugs. After the initial cleaning a dog odor did not go away. I reached four to Shipman and without hesitation they set up a date to come back and check out the rugs. They now have done a second cleaning to help get rid of the odor. Extremely prompt. I sent an inquiry on yelp. Got an immediate response. Gave me a quote. Got them scheduled for that week. Day before service I got an email reminder. Day of I got a text saying they were running ahead of schedule, could they come earlier. Sean & Ryan showed up. Very knowledgeable and I felt very fair on pricing. They were respectful of our home and property; protecting the corners and the heavier furniture I couldn't move, asked where they would prefer they start and got to work. They cleaned 1700 sq feet of tile and grout and the carpet in our master bedroom (honestly, the carpet has never been softer to walk on since they came; its so fluffy and soft.....not to mention cleaner than I have EVER seen it. The tile and grout looks brand new.) I appreciated Sean at the end of the visit going over what they had done, when they recommend service and they were available if I had any concerns.
