The meh: Their dusting was just ok - a lot left in the blinds. The ugly: They turned my side table around to clean behind it, and things weren't returned to the state they were in. The drawers were facing the bed so they wouldn't open, the power cord management box was behind the side table vice beside it, lamps were unplugged. Also, we have those "Indows" plexiglass window inserts for sound isolation. They pulled one of them out (to clean the window i guess) and managed to scratch the plexiglass in the process - about a 4-5" gash, and did not put the indow back in. I mean, I thought they didn't do windows anyway? Why wouldn't they ask how it worked or if they should clean the window? I think if I were to have them back I'd have to supervise, or set expectations for them not to touch windows and to return things the way they were.

Which also meant, they understood what it means to clean a house with a pet and they use non-toxic cleaning chemicals. With this company - they just get it. And I'm finally writing today because of what happened at my home today. The cleaners arrived as normally scheduled, on time, and all that jazz - and I'm at work about 20 minutes away when I get a call from Shawn. He told me that the cleaners were concerned about my cat because she was in the bathtub and seemed very stressed out. She's normally very friendly and calm, so this unusual behavior prompted them to call Shawn (I guess he runs the office) who called me immediately. I told them to ignore her if she didn't look like she was in any danger, and just ignore the tub for now. I left work and drove 20 minutes home, to find her in the bathtub. Apparenlty she got spooked at something, jumped in the tub, and because it was wet from my shower, couldn't get out. They were willing to get her out, but I told them to leave her if she was stressed because I would be home soon - and a stressed cat is not one you want to pick up as a "stranger". I feel most cleaners would have ignored her, and wouldn't have recognized her unusual behavior. Had I not been called, my poor baby would have been sitting in that tub, wet, all day long. SHe was so happy to see me home, she was totally fine, she wasn't in any sort of actual danger - and now she's in my lap dry and happy as a clam :) Now, in terms of the cleaning service itself! they are fantastic. Especially as someone who has some serious cat hair everywhere, they do an amazing job getting it all. Coming home to a cat hair free apartment is a god send. They use green, pet friendly products - everything is spotless, and they really take care of everything. This is a class act service!!!! I noticed several things she missed and asked her to dust the fan and she dusted one fan and seemed in a rush to leave but I thought this was because she'd run over time or had to go to a next appointment so I tipped her and she left quickly. When I told the woman on the phone she didn't clean the fridge and other things she was apologetic but told me the fridge wasn't on the checklist so I checked the checklist they sent and went around to the things on the checklist and as you can see from the pictures the other things on the checklist were not clean... The worst part is this is a move in cleaning. So there was no furniture she had to work around and no furniture to clean! For 3 hours with no furniture everything should be clean. I thought they'd offer for someone to come back or money off a next cleaning but they didn't offer anything except apologies.
