We've used Jems at least 3 times now! We always come home to a marvellously clean house, and the price for the quality of clean is very fair. The team is very kind and professional, and they do a great job communicating and accommodating with schedules. Highly recommend! read more

4BD/3BR house with a basement. They did an excellent job. The fridge looked brand new when they were done. Definitely worth it. Don't hesitate, your search is over, you've found your quality cleaners. read more

JEMs cleaning services communicates well. Cleans well and in a timely manner.super sweet crew..

I've been with them for 2 years and would highly recommend. If I ever have a problem or issue, they want to correct it. They clean very well and I feel safe with them in my house when I'm not home. Thank you to the team and Maria! read more

The most unprofessional cleaning service I have ever utilized. This shrew ignored my multiple follow up service requests, and didn't tell me that she was unavailable until I text her one final time about my cleaning schedule. I can't believe someone so utterly incompetent and inhospitable has the nerve to call themselves a cleaning professional. I suggest she clean up the filth in her business, starting with the despicable customer service. read more

Ive been using JEMS cleaning service for over a year now and everytime they do an exceptional job in cleaning and sanitizing my property. Highly recommended! read more

Been using Jems for years! The girls do such a fantastic job! Highly recommend for cleaning needs! Maria is the best!

We needed a move out cleaning for a one bedroom l, one bath apartment. Maria and Silvio were very responsive and even let me switch my appointment time. They did AMAZING with the kitchen and especially the stove, that old thing could not have come out cleaner!! The staff who showed up were incredibly nice and started right away, took about an hour. The reason for 4 stars is that every other room looked only basically dusted. They didn't clean the walls or baseboards, the floor still had marks, and somehow the blinds were detached and left on the floor with a pile of dust under them. The entire apartment was empty and there was nothing really in the way, so I'm not sure why spots were missed. Overall, I loved the people who helped me, but the service left something to be desired. read more

Responsive, thorough, and high quality services. We do not have regularly scheduled cleanings, but they are very accommodating for occasional deeper cleans if that's what you need. Everyone is professional and we have been extremely pleased with this service. We will be reaching out again whenever needed. read more

Great customer service, excellent workers and outstanding staff and management. They did a fantastic job and I could eat off the floors.

Wow! Just 24 hours ago I submitted a quote request - and already I'm coming home to a beautifully clean home today. I had a deep clean which was very reasonably priced - especially for the high quality. They cleaned things I didn't even think of like ceiling fans, blinds, and even cleaned and organized inside the fridge and my cluttered shelves. My place has never looked, smelled, or felt better! Clear communication and friendly staff. They even asked if I had any allergies to cleaning supplies before they started. Great business all around. Can't wait to stay regular cleanings now. Thank you JEMS! read more

JEMS Cleaning Services - Home Cleaning Near Me

Exceptional deep clean, efficient and friendly team and so happy with the results. Have requested a normal clean going forward. Today was a much needed deep clean and the house looks amazing. I will also say that they put everything back where it was so my house did not look like a tornado had gone through. Thank you! read more

We used JEMS for our move out cleaning in DC in June of 2023 and they did a fantastic job. The 3 ladies were a little late but that was communicated ahead of time. They left the place sparkling and followed all of our instructions beautifully. The pricing was also reasonable! I would definitely recommend this company for any cleaning needs. read more

I hired this service last minute last week and they responded very quickly and were able to accommodate me. They arrived on time and let me tell you they did the best job cleaning my house! It was the worst it has ever been. They were very professional, and they stayed until they got every single thing done. They didn't leave any stones unturned. I only get a cleaning service every once in a while and I will definitely be using them again. 10 out of 10! read more

The attention to detail was amazing and the team was so thorough. I would recommend JEMS without hesitation. If I could give them 10 stars on yelp I would. read more

Amazing! Beat every other quote by a TON! WIll definitely use them again! Maria and her team of 3 ladies came out to clean a place that I was moving out of--so it was virtually empty. I needed it for the move-out inspection. When I told that to Maria she went the extra mile to make sure that everything was tidy and presentable. Took a total of 3 hours to clean a 3-bedroom 3-level townhouse from top to bottom. Will definitely use there services at my new place as their pricing blew the competition away. Can't imagine the more expensive services (in some cases TRIPLE the price) would do a better job! Thanks Sylvio and Maria! read more

Arrived on time and cleaned as needed. Will definitely use again , easy to schedule for service.

I asked about pricing and timing and got an answer the day of and s he filed it for the next day. They were extremely thorough and very considerate. I highly recommend them to anyone who's looking for a deep clean. read more

I recently moved to the area and between unpacking taking care of all my young children and having rheumatoid arthritis which limits me physically, my house was total chaos until today, it had gotten so on top of me. I decided it was time to find help with housekeeping on a regular basis. I found JEMS on Yelp and they replied promptly with a fair quote and offered a military discount which I appreciated. They did such a thorough job and were so friendly and professional I immediately decided to keep them as my regular cleaning company. They worked so hard, super flexible with their schedule and all around some of the best money I've ever spent. I highly recommend JEMS! Thank you, from one very relieved mama. read more

Great experience! Used JEMS for a "move out" deep cleaning. They thoroughly cleaned our entire place and gave me the best price. Professional, responsive, and reliable. They sent pics of the finished product so I could review before paying the invoice which was conveniently sent online. They were very helpful in us securing our full deposit from our landlords. Would absolutely use them again at our new place and happily recommend them! read more

I used Jem's Cleaning service for 3 times and the last time they cleaned I was missing some items. When I called them to ask they told me they would check with their team. I found my items and apologized greatly and their response was basically go to hell. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THEM!! They are not friendly and make you sign a contract like they are business like but treat their customers badly. If you are a cleaning person then it's expected an item might be displaced. Horrible handling of the situation. Steer clear!! read more

We used them for a move out cleaning. Reasonable price and they did an outstanding job. We would definitely recommend them.

The ladies were nice enough and timely in the beginning. After the second or third cleaning, we noticed some areas that were missed. I think some sheets were put on backwards, but that's OK. We just brought it to their attention. I started a full-time job and could not go back through and do housework on my own last year. Halfway through the year, I looked behind my couch and it was filthy with dog hair and dust. I brought it to their attention and was told that they don't move heavy objects. There is a foot space in back of my couch. I also looked under beds that had a similar issue. Although, they stated that they did not move heavy objects, a vacuum hose and head could get these places. There was also dust on top of my refrigerator. We have a house with three kids and a dog but we try to be reasonable. I try to clean before they come. Recently, they cancelled on us. That happens. The following week they switched days last minute. My house was left open and we were at work. This happened once before. I asked if they please would tell us with enough advance notice in the future. Our service then declined. So they switched days on us, and I happened to be home. I noticed the one woman banging into my furniture with the vacuum. On several occasions, food was stacked up in the kitchen, and I found that it molded. Unfortunately, I have Lyme disease, so we just can't have that. I did bring this to their attention, but It seemed like this group did not like criticism. I would usually pay via Venmo, and admittedly wait until the day before, so that they wouldn't cancel last minute. They asked if I could pay via check and I agreed. But when I mentioned a couple of things that I needed paid close attention to, they just quit the day before they were supposed to come. Overall, the women were trustworthy in my house, but unfortunately, I feel like I wasn't getting what I paid for with cleaning. I do not think that they like constructive criticism either. read more

Maria's team did a great job, the service requested was a deep cleaning for my mom's place and they left it looking great. There was so much dust and they really did a good job with baseboards, bookshelves and on top of the fridge. Value was on par with other quotes we received. She was able to do the job within the date I requested and very easy to schedule. read more

There is a reason everyone gives these folks 5 stars, they're simply the best. They went above and beyond during our deep cleaning session. When I came home from work, I literally had my mouth wide open for 10 minutes and marveled at how clean our house was. Their rates are extremely fair for the amount of cleaning you get. I can't say enough positive things. We are setting up a bi-weekly service and never looking back! read more

We had a similar experience to others on this page. As long as you don't ask them to make changes, they will clean your house. They also missed behind some of our furniture and we found that there was some dust. There was also dirt under our beds for weeks on end. We asked that they clean under the beds. read more

Excellent service and great value! I contacted JEMS here on Yelp when another service cancelled for the second time in a row. It was 7am and I needed help to clean a 3bed, 3.5ba the same day. I received a response with a detailed quote soon after and the cleaning team (two people) arrived promptly, were very professional, wore masks the whole time and were very thorough -- they cleaned blinds, light fixtures, the fridge, the oven, etc. It took them about 5 hours to clean and the house looks great! I will likely contact JEMS again and recommend the company. read more

I needed a deep clean for my apartment and Yelp put me in touch with several local cleaning services. JEMS responded quickly with one of the lowest prices I was quoted. On the day of my appointment with them they told me they could come early and they did. Took them just two hours to clean my 850 square feet apartment. Definitely would recommend read more

We really liked them... but they abruptly stopped coming. They said they no longer serviced our area, I'm guessing because of gas prices being through the roof? We were happy with their service for quite a few months, wish we could've continued with them. We asked them for recommendations (twice) if they knew of anyone else to help us out, yet no response. read more
