If you are expecting good food, good locals, and a fun time, this dive bar is worth all 5 stars. I'm in town for a while and stopped off at one of the top places in Celina for night life according to Trip Advisor. On a Sunday night, there was live music, and lively people. You can play some gambling games if you're feeling lucky, or enjoy a cheese popper if you're feeling really lucky. The staff is very nice and accommodating. The locals will adopt you as one of their own. Stop on by if one of the other bars in town is not your fancy. read more

The food was good, our sever was really nice, and the place was pretty clean. I was a little disappointed because the prices on their website were a buck or two less than what was given to us at the restaurant. Also weird was an older lady who worked there insisted on squeezing between our table and the one next to us. In the process she kind of tripped over one of our chairs. Took over an hour to get our food. We order two cheeseburgers and a club. Our appetizer came after our food. Bartender was less than friendly. Burgers were good, club was nasty. Won't be back. read more

This is a great place to go if you want to chill. They have good bands and a really nice patio. The pudding shots are awesome and you should definitely try a shotski! The bartenders were much more fun lately. The food is really good depending on who is cooking, I recommend eating there at night, the food seems to be better and the place has more staff at night so you don't have to wait around as much. My husband said the men's room is really smelly and while it wasn't all that dirty visibly it seemed like it could use a really good deep cleaning, although the ladies room was clean and I have no complaints there. The kitchen always looks spotless when we look inside the doorway and that is definitely not the case for most bars in the area. read more

My friend and I walked into the Shingle Shack, were not greeted by anyone, and we sat down. The bartender looked at us but didn't acknowledge us. We were the only people in the entire restaurant and still, the bartender never even asked us if we wanted something to drink. Finally, we got up and left, walked right past the bartender, and she STILL didn't say a word. I have never had such bad service in my life, and I will not be going in there any time soon and I suggest you all do the same. The Beach Point restaurant right down the street from the Shingle Shack is MUCH better! read more

Ordered the 3-piece fish dinner, looked & tasted like they pulled my dinner from the bottom of the deep fryer that had not been cleaned for 2-weeks! There was 3-pieces of burnt breading, when I finally found fish it a so over cooked it was like eating mush. The waitress was probly to embarassed to ask if we liked the meal because when she took our plate she could clearly see we didn't touch our meal. The beer tasted good. read more

me and my cousin went in for dinner at about 7:30, it is a seat yourself restaurant so we sat and waited. there were a few other people there, but, five minutes into the wait we were the only ones there. instead of coming to give us menus and take our drink orders, the ONLY waitress/bartender decided to clear the tables and clean the bar. ten minutes later a rather large group of people came in and we got up and walked out the door. we passed the waitress/bartender on our way out and she didn't say a word to us about not getting to us, she let us walk right out.
