I stopped into this store on a whim with my girlfriend. I decided to get a new pair of sneakers, as my old ones had seen better days. Since I was sick of wearing white sneakers (they get dirty way too easily), I decided on a darker-colored pair this time around. I found exactly what I was looking for, and the customer service rep helped me find the right size. My girlfriend found some sneakers for herself as well, and we went to check out. The selection here is decent, and the service is efficient. I was impressed, and I can't believe I never shopped at a Shiekh Shoes before. I will definitely keep them in mind the next time I'm in the market for a new pair of sneakers. I've had a ridiculously good experience every time I have bought shoes from Shiekh(Mostly the locations closer to home in OC). They have always been comfortable and inexpensive! My heels lasted me a good 5+ years, and were super comfortable to walk in for hours at a time (Vegas approved) (even compared to my expensive shoes, Shiekh has comfortable and inexpensive! Can't beat that!) Most of the employees were standing around talking to each other, luckily I had one guy come and help me and he was nice. NO CUSTOMER SERVICE here. They might as well be monkeys working there, at least you can train a monkey to smile. We ordered shoes, we were told 7-10 days would arrive. We never received a call. So I followed up, they said it will still take a few more days shipment still hasn't left warehouse...I'm thinking OOOOKAY.. WE decided to change the shoe size since the order is not even in route yet. They said No, its ok, we will get that size you need in the shipment that's arriving anyways. DAYS PASS, I called back. They said they haven't Un packed shoes yet, but the guy unpacking Shoes will call me to let me know that they have my shie size Needed in Stock. I STILL NEVER received a return call, neither that day nor in the following days. 3 days pass, I phone back and they said I will have to place a specific order for this shoe size AGAIN!!! HELLO, I NEEDED THE SHOES 3 WEEKS AGO WHEN I ordered them, but we were willing to wait THE 7-10days that they initially explained. I recently went Into this shoe store looking for a dressy men's shoes. The selection for this is non existent. That's ok, most stores have a small selection of men anything. What bothers me is the lack of customer service. Five employee working the same shift ALL of them surrounded by the register talking. Not helping any customers including me. I think it's time the owner hires a manager that will manage it's staff! I can't imagine what the store will be like come the holidays. read more

Just horrible, I've been shopping there since 2000. This year, I wanted to get my wife some boots and this was the 1st place that came to mind. I purchased a Gift card for her to use, and the day after Xmas she went to use it and was told the card was "invalid". And "did we have a receipt" Immediately I was upset because I put $100 on the card. She also stated "Whoever did it must have put the wrong # on the card in the system". So after driving back to stockton to get the receipt and coming back the same day, I was told "there are other people who I need to take care of 1st". So disrespect that another customer let me go 1st. She looked at the card/receipt did NOT apologize. And was hesitant about giving me my money back also stating "we usually don't give cash back on gift cards, so I'll have to buy something and refund it to get your $ back". No apologies, but was so afraid she called the mall security etc. Just horrible, I will NEVER recommend anyone there. And I've EASILY spend over $1000 in my lifetime there.
