I found shoes that fit, waited in an appropriate line (just the right number of cashiers, where I waited for a few minutes, but not too long), and easily checked out with a really nice cashier, and went on my way. This review may only apply to me, and people like me: that don't want a ton of interaction, but a good selection, and a quick, pleasant checkout experience. They said I could buy them online, but they were on clearance in the store and not online. When I asked if there was anyway I could order them in store and have them shipped for the store price, the sales women said they weren't supposed to but talked to her manager who said it was ok. I was appreciative of how accommodating they were. Because of that, I was able to get new boots for a very reasonable price of $40. While I don't like shopping, it was an overall good experience here.

It is located Located on the second floor back corner next to the luggage and furniture departments. I love walking through these areas as you never know what they will have. Sometimes it is hit or miss and they have a variety of junk all the way to high end discount items. That is probably not how they market it, but just being honest in my observations. One thing I really like are the lower prices! $$$ I found two belts I liked ($9.99 each) and have found some cool Ralph Lauren Polo socks too. It really is fun to find the deals and in general the price point is well below the traditional store items. Make sure to note that Backstage does have a different the return policy. Macy's Backstage is 30 days and most of the traditional Macy's items has a 90 day policy. The discount store also has its own website at www.macysbackstage.com. If you happen to have a Macy's charge card you can use it here as well. Definitely recommend checking it out as it worth the walkthrough and items are added pretty frequently from what I can tell.

I've only been to two sneaker boutiques in Central Ohio and this one has a much better selection. It was busy and a little hard to hard to get help. I ended up buying a pair of sneakers that I've been eying for a long time. The buying experience was rushed. You want to make sure the $300 sneakers you are buying are a good fit and comfortable. I feel you get better service at The House of Hoops by Foot Locker (and they usually only have one person working) Ultimately, I got the shoes I was looking for. I do plan on going back for more shoes in the future. It's a candy store for sneakers.
