I love anthropologie! They have well made clothing and oddly really nice dinnerware and glasses. This location is always merchandised well. There are two floors. If you cant downstairs they have an elevator just past the stairs. Upstairs they have their sale areas which usually has things marked down 30-40% The manager here is excellent and very helpful. read more

This is an especially nice Anthropologie. Admittedly, I never buy clothes here due to the prices but they do have the best candles and fragrance selection. They stock unusual perfume brands that I have not seen elsewhere in Columbus. I love how they have the front of the store set up as a "candle studio." I found the perfect pumpkin candle to have my house smelling like fall. Be sure to check out the upstairs, which is where all the sale items are. Shopping here truly feels like a luxury experience, and that is unusual in retail stores these days. read more

This is one of the prettiest stores I have ever been to. It has multiple floors and smells so good! While I typically prefer to shop online, Anthropologie is always lovely to browse and smell in person! Anthropologie is a sister company to Free People, Urban Outfitters, Terrain, and a few other stores run by URBN. While I have grown out of Urban Outfitters a bit, Anthropologie is just right. It's a great place to find unique decor, gifts, and clothing. While it's pricey, they have great sales. Right now sale is up to an additional %75 which has tons of awesome deals. Recently we got the cutest piece for our nursery as well as an adorable play mat which were unique and fit our woodland theme perfectly! They also carry my favorite lotion of all time, Mer Sea Coconut Sugar. I was able to stock up on it during a sale this past summer. If you're in the area, it's definitely worth a visit. read more

I live in Los Angeles and the only Anthropologie in the LA area is in Santa Monica which is not easy to get to or to park at. So I'm always delighted when I find an anthropology while I'm traveling. I love their stuff. It's vibrant, colorful, and tasteful. It's one of my go to Spotts for gifts for my girlfriends. The staff at this particular Anthropologie was welcoming and helpful It's not cheap, but it is gorgeous and usually timeless. read more

Anthropologie is like a women's paradise, an oasis of beautiful clothing and jewelry, amazing home goods and accessories. I find myself walking through the doors and embracing an alternate persona. I simply imagine myself being able to afford everything here and what kind of super rad home I would have it was filled with all of these wonderful items. While yes, many of these items can be expensive, I can still find things that I love at a reasonable prices. They have a great sale section upstairs and on my most recent visit I found some amazing pots for a really good price. They are beautiful and went perfectly in my apartment. The staff was also incredibly friendly, regularly checking on me to see if I had any questions or if I needed anything. They weren't pushy at all and even offered to hold my pots up at the register so I didn't have to walk around with them while I shopped. That was really nice because they were rather heavy. I'm so glad this location is here in the Short North and I can walk in easily to browse around or grab a gift for a friend. While it may be smaller compared to other locations, it still has a lot of great stuff! I'll definitely be back! read more

I can't help but feel somewhat uplifted just walking through Anthropologie. Even before walking in, really, because the windows are so engaging, bright and delightful. They definitely beckon you within to the wonderful world of color, texture and aroma. The place smells divine- must be all the fab candles they have stocked throughout. It's a thoughtfully curated paradise for anyone with a love of vibrant colors, long dresses, and new shabby chic- clothing and home wares. They have a great checkout area of goodies where I discovered Lanolips- one of the best lip moisturizers I've ever tried. It is a little on the Spendy side. I had just a few little Knick knacks and managed to spend $100. I was like "wow, am I at Whole Foods?!" But I like the stuff I got, so there is that. Don't miss the sale rack upstairs. read more

I really like Anthro! The staff is always friendly and greet and bid you goodbye. It's an aesthetically pleasing store with all kinds of stuff. This is the first kind of Anthro I've been to with a second floor. It was dedicated completed to sale stuff! Very cool store with great decor stuff and home stuff. Say what you will about the concept and location of Anthropologie in the Short North (and I know you will), they're certainly taking no chances with their staff. I was greeted and offered assistance no less than four times while snooping around -- I mean browsing -- this morning. It's a two story shop sparsely stocked with items to attract the twenty-thirty-forty something woman -- stuff that you would find on thekitchn or apartmenttherapy or on any number of hipster/yuppie/suburban mommy blogs (which are starting to all blur together anyway). The displays are pretty, and everything smells lovely, though I eyed the decorative bowls of clementines and craisins (CRAISINS!) with some skepticism. I'm always on the lookout for the ceramic hedgehog measuring cups that a friend once found at Anthropologie, but no luck today. It will be interesting to see how this store fares among local favorites like Tigertree, Rowe, and other Short North businesses. read more

The Short North Anthro is in a convenient location for anyone wanting to visit the store without braving one of the ultra-crowded mega malls in the greater Columbus area. It's beautiful inside (two stories), and the staff is usually friendly and attentive without being too in your face. Admittedly though, as other reviews note, the selection at this location is a little slim as compared to others I've visited. The space is large, so it seems that more varied inventory could be added. Currently, they do have a wonderful selection of face masks, lotions, perfumes, and other small "treat yourself" items (all great for small stocking stuffers and such around the holidays), but they don't carry many of Anthro's beloved home goods which is disappointing. This store could definitely benefit from more varied inventory and some reorganization, but it's worth a visit for purchasing quick gifts or perusing the clothing! read more

I absolutely adore Anthropologie's clothing so when we were strolling along high street and I noticed the familiar doors I had to go in. It is what it is - an Anthropologie store. The usual suspects of merchandise but in a two story version. While the staff was very nice, the pickings were slim. I don't know if this is a marketing plan or because of space constraints. Who knows! Would I make the effort to return here? Only if I happened to be in the Short North otherwise I'm heading straight for the store in Easton where you have much much more to chose from. read more

I was in Columbus for a wedding and saw Anthropologie across the street from our hotel, Le Meridian. My husband and I went in and saw very little selection in the downstairs area so we asked where the stairs would lead us. The salesperson said there were more clothes upstairs so we checked it out and found that there are more women's clothing offerings upstairs, along with sale items and fitting rooms. I found a cute dress that I wore that night. I do agree with the other reviewers, though, that there is little selection in this store. Unlike other Anthropologie stores I have shopped in, the one in Short North only carries women's clothing. It also does not carry many of the brands I typically see in the Anthropologie stores. While there were slimmer pickings, there were some good options, so it is still worth checking out. The staff is happy to assist, so this is overall a great choice if you are in town and need an outfit in a pinch. read more

This location feels barren and sad compared to the Easton location. I was followed around by the staff, which also never happens at Easton. Finally, the sale section was pathetic and laughable as well. I came into this store for the first time because I still had time on my parking meter and I have heard good things about it. The first thing that caught my eye was a very cute planner in the front room. I decided to buy it. I continued walking around the store and an associate noticed the planner and showed me some more they had closer to the check out counter. She was very nice and showed me the one she bought. She also told me to check out the upstairs as it was my first time there. I decided on a planner and per the associate's suggestion, I made my way to the stairs. About half-way up, another associate yelled, "ma'am, I'll keep the planner down here" and then awkwardly added "so your hands are free." I immediately felt like she said that because she thought I going to steal the planner. I didn't even want to continue looking around because it was honestly embarrassing. I handed the planner to her and headed back up the stairs. The more I looked around the more angry I got. There were multiple employees throughout the store who could have easily kept an eye out for shoplifting; I cannot fathom why this one felt the need to take the planner from me like I was a child or something, especially given that I went upstairs after another employee suggested it, knowing I had the planner in my hand. I ultimately decided not to purchase it and I will not be going back to this store. I'm sure she thought my plan was to steal it given I didn't end up buying it but oh well. I'm not giving my money to a place that makes their customers feel like criminals. read more
